Everything, here, oozes of classic opulence & nostalgia...From the valet parking to the attention to detail in each bite of the steak,, Carlo & Johnny exceeds your expectations of what Fine Dining should be. The prices aren't for the faint of heart, nor the light in the wallet. Be ready to enjoy some of the best food in the Tri-State area and forget about what it costs....just treat yourself & indulge in culinary excellence.
The service was wild. Our waiter could’ve given a masterclass in catering to the whims of the over-privileged. Plus, there were so many assistant servers buzzing around, it felt like a beehive in tuxedos. The manager even checked on us, which was nice considering we were basically paying his rent.Bobbie ordered a shrimp cocktail appetizer with prawns the size of small lobsters. We had a wonderful, private dinner event at Carlo & Johnny last weekend. There were 11 of us in our party and most of us had never been to C&J before (we live in Hyde Park and typically frequent the Precinct and Ruby’s locations). We loved our first experience at C&J. This historic property was beautiful and well-appointed, the service was top notch, and as always, the steaks were terrific and the wine list was extensive! It was a great evening in the burbs!
