“Yesterday I had the best cheeseburger from McDonald's ever. Not sure if it's because it was fresh and my bun was nice and crispy or because 2 pieces of cheese must have gotten stuck together but now I want to order extra cheese on my cheeseburgers!“

“We got a fried bologna sandwich, sloppy Joe and onion rings. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Just park, turn your lights on, and they come take your order. You don't have to leave your car. Very reasonably priced also. Highly recommend the onion rings.“

“My two daughters, grand daughter and I went to DeJuan's on Saturday 4/27/24 for my birthday dinner. Our reservation was at 8pm. First time going there. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. I had the shrimp scampi and daughters had salmon. This is definitely on our list of favorites. We had a pleasant surprise, we had to wait a little bit longer for our food due to other big parties (no big deal to us), however the management came to our booth and apologized for the slight delay and took care of the whole bill for the night. We did not have to pay a dime. WOW!. We have been to other restaurants but never received such pleasant service. On top of such wonderful gesture, I was given a signature glass as a birthday gift. KUDOS to Erica, Tracy and our server Navel (i hope i spelled it right). We thank you sincerely for making our day. We will definitely come back again.“

“Sunday morning, the place was very busy and there was a wait for our food, but once we got it, we enjoyed it. Ordered the French ie platter. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and French toast. Four slices and they were thick and dripping butter. Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon could have been just a bit crisper. Our server was excellent. Attentive and polite. She was the only one working the tables and handled a full house exceptionally well.“

“Great place for breakfast. I had the Sunrise, eggs, sausage, home fries. This was the special. With coffee, total came to $9.07. That is a deal. Food was good and service attentive. Had my coffee refilled numerous times. One of my favorite local breakfast places.Parking: Limited parking in the back. If busy, you will have to park on the street. If very busy, this can be a block away.“

“Zayne and his family are top notch. The food is always fresh,and delicious. Definitely one of our favorite places to eat. We were so excited when we found out they were bringing back one of our favorite subs from another restaurant that went out of business. We highly recommend the Houdini sub.“

“Franks is the typical hole in the wall and those of you that have read my reviews know I love these places. The service is good at Franks and the bartenders are friendly and can carry a conversation. Atmosphere is very eclectic - see my pictures. The food specials are a deal so make sure to check those out. I had the cowboy burger on this visit but have also had the NY strip which is good. The cowboy burger is sautéd onions, cheddar, bacon and candied jalapeños. Handmade burger and very tasty. Only complaint is the burger was thick but not wide enough to cover the bun. Give Franks a try“

“This is a hidden gem. If I could give 10/10 I would. Just had the best burger of my life. Service with Erica was amazing and the food was just as good. Prices were fair and honest as well. “Stopped in Arnie's for brunch this past Sunday and it was amazing! The breakfast burger was the best burger we've ever had, seriously. The croissant sandwich and potatoes were amazing and the kids loved their fruit loop pancakes. If you haven't been to Arnie's lately, I highly recommend giving it a try. “Now I can’t remember the smash burger I had but I know it had the house specialty sauce. In the first bite, the flavors of each item combined create the taste of fresh ingredients. The beef is fresh and local, as in a few miles away local. Everything that makes up that burger was local. I wish I had a picture to show but I smashed it with the quickness. The taste of that juicy burger left me separated from reality until there was nothing left. At that point I zapped back into reality so I didn’t get a pic. I’ll for sure be back again and hopefully get a picture for you all. Also, in the back, the kitchen is impressively clean. It looked as if they had just moved in that day. I arrived just before closing hours and a manager showed me the operations in the back while my burger was being made. Retro Burger has an excellent standard and that is why I’m recommending it. “I'm 35, and I've been going to the Main St saloon since I could remember. 5-6yrs old. Back when they had the .99 cent jumbo burger, and the boxing in the basement (I was too young to actually go down there) This place holds so many fond memories along with amazing great good, vibes, and energy. “First time ordering from Big Star thanks to a pizza group I’m in on FB. Expansive menu including pastas, salads, burgers yes burgers, some Greek options and other Italian options. I can’t wait to order from here again. The person taking my order was super friendly. Pizza came out amazing. Ordered the New York style with all veggies and a side of garlic dipping sauce. Also Not greasy either. Crispy and balanced. So so yummy. Ordered the breaded mixed veggies as well. Delish breading. Recommend.“

“Nice cafe. I had the sausage and gravy with eggs. Warning - their sausage gravy is a bit spicy, so if you don't like hot, don't order. Eggs were cooked right, and the sausage gravy was loaded with meat. My wife had the French toast special with strawberries. Fresh cut strawberries would have made the dish much better instead of the strawberry compote that was served. Service was excellent, wait staff attentive. The cafe is decorated with painting of dogs, which is different.Parking: Free parking behind and on the street in front.“

“Gotta love a classic diner. Seems they are hard to find anymore, but Valley Cafe is cozy, has a great menu, gets the food out quickly, and the servers are great. My husband and I always get classic breakfast items but there is a good variety.“

“We have lunch often at Great Oaks Tavern and we are never disappointed. The service is always good or great (depending on how busy they are) and the food is great. They smoke their own turkey, pulled pork, chicken and more. Salads are fresh and tasty, and the prices are reasonable (as reasonable as dining can be these days. Great Oaks Tavern is a great local grill and put that I would highly recommend.“

“After driving past this dining gem on S Main for years, wondering if we'd enjoy the place, we stopped in this past Saturday at around 4PM to get a late afternoon meal. We were seated almost immediately in a spotless booth with soft lighting, provided menus with an endless array of offerings, and asked for our beverage order. Suffice it to say we were impressed by the immediate service given to us by Felicia, and her ability to make us feel welcomed! The bleucheese burger we shared was perfect, French fries were very hot and crispy, and the house salad was accompanied by two house-made dressings, a creamy white French and a balsamic...both were outstanding, and the servings were enough to provide dipping sauces for the fries. We believe we have found the neighborhood tavern we've been seeking since moving to Akron in 2018! Sure, the burger prices were a bit high, but in keeping with the disastrous economic times. Super neighborhood spot for dining, libations, and tv viewing. And the friendly staff is the icing on the cake, actually on the incredibly sinfully deeelicious bread pudding!“

“Great, and I mean great employees. Dano himself regularly greets customers and checks on their satisfaction. Lakeside is accurate as it is nestled on the Portage Lakes waterfront. Good drink selection, and great daily specials. The burgers are great, but the buns fall apart as soon as you pick them up. Warm weather is all about the patio and picnic tables. They do have an interior bar as well and they have flat screens everywhere. They also boast the best boat docks of all of the restaurants on PLX. Dano is the most involved owner I've ever encountered. The parking lot is cramped and situated on narrow or one way streets. Can be difficult to navigate on crowded days or after dark. When you get there, park with the intention to get out easily. You'll see what I mean when you get there. Definitely a great place on a nice day or to watch a game.“

“Fish and chips were really good. Great thick cut fries. The breading had great flavor and a nice crunch. I bet the chicken sandwich is killer. The wife had the stir fry, which was pretty good too. I liked the fish better, but if I wanted something less fried it's a good option. Price is typical for a sit down restaraunt these days. Glad to see barberton getting some new food options. “food was great....... except for the chicken wings. we came out of state from Buffalo NY for a concert in Akron OH. seen this place so we stopped. the portions are great for the price. I did the half rack of ribs and they were pretty good. my wife got a bacon cheese burger and loved it. said it was juicy and good flavor. the mac n cheese wedges were awesome. now this is where it turned. being from Buffalo I am spoiled and know my wings. I got the Cajun wings from here in a 5 piece to take and snack on back at the hotel. I took one bite and never finished them. the texture of the meat was super dense like they were boiled instead of deep fried and the skin was rubbery and almost like paper thin. the Cajun sauce was good but the wings themselves were just not my cup of tea. they don't come close to REAL Buffalo chicken wings. all in all I still highly recommend this establishment and the rest of the food. also prices, atmosphere, our waitress and the rest of the staff was excellent.“

“Went to this place today.My bun wa hard. the meat was good but when the bill came they charged us way more than the the menu price. I ordered a double cheese burger and so did someone else and was charged 13 something.. I also got a single burger snd not a double.. my husband had the hot flaming burger which was a single burger and and they gave him 2 pattys . someone else with me got the burger with the hot dogs on it and was charged at least $4 more then advertised.. they got rootbeer was advertised $3 a peice and was charge $6. you know I can go menches and get s better meal! we won't be back! this should not have been a $70 bill! this is the menu they posted on this page 21 hours ago.. oh and we asked for a basket of fries they brought 2 he said was alot af fries so we assumed it was to make it easier for 4 people to share.. nope charged us for 2!“

“I have been to a Swensons in Canton, Cincy, CBus, CLE, and Akron and I have loved each and every time I've been to one. Their food is literally one of my favorite things about Ohio and more specifically NE Ohio thanks to a large grouping of them. I moved out of state for a few years and I missed the retro vibes the drive in has and the wonderful service I always experienced. I recommend Swensons to literally anyone I can, I've been going since I was a kid.“

“Love this local bar. Do the happy hour 4-6pm. $2 miller light bottles. Terry runs the bar like a General with a quick wit to boost. Megan brings energy to the night shift. Tom and Maggie are always there minding the business and making the place fun. The clientele is full of locals who know the area like the back of a whisky bottle and are ready to share a story. State Rd. is right out the front door where the patio is perfectly placed for viewing and a smoke. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger well done. It was prefect!“
