“Everyone should go here once, and once you go, you'll go again. There's not too many places to get a good chili dog anymore, and this is one of the best. The prices were reasonable, and the food was great. The atmosphere and decor are classic. Be sure to take a quick walk around to see the whole place before you leave.“

“The ice cream is always great. I haven't gotten any of their hot food, but it's always prepared quickly even when it's busy or even if you have a complicated order. The employees inside are always very nice and courteous and always great you with a smile despite the time you arrive. The amount you get for the amount you pay is perfect, I'd say, because the cup is always over full (for the Tornados, which are just their specialty items.)“
“We saw this place on our way to a bar and wanted to check it out. We stepped in and realized it was a music venue too! We came in early enough to get in without cover, but the space is really nice and has pinball machines. I'll have to come back when they have a band on because I bet this place gets packed. Excellent service, good selection of simple eats, soft serve ice cream, sundaes, flurries, frozen yogurt, milkshakes, slushies and more with lots of toppings and flavors to choose from. Great prices with big portions and they take cash and card. Love it so far and planning on many more trips!“
“Worst customer service!! Rude (young) employees today they kept getting confused over 4 chili dogs only chili, 2 chili dogs with everything & 3 pops. After the stress of ordering our food & getting it right after 5 trips back to the service window we decided to get ice cream somewhere else. I won’t return to this location for a LONG time-if ever.“
“Whenever I visit Toledo, I have been a little sad that I could no longer have a chili dog from my favorite hot dog place since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about 20 years ago . On Eclipse Monday the staff made it possible for me to enjoy Rudy’s once again by making two loaded chili dogs using my unopened package of Schars hot dog buns. I was in Heaven!!! “I was surprised that this place is open in February. I went and got a couple of chili dogs for lunch. Netty(s) has the best chili dogs in town. I wish they had French fries. I was working next door where a new Laundromat will be opening soon. These places are located directly across from the University of Toledo. So, go wash some clothes and enjoy some dogs!“

“Eating at Rudy's is a childhood memory I'll never forget. Every year we would drive to Toledo to visit family and see the Light Before Christmas at the zoo. We'd always end the evening with a trip to Rudy's. It's been about 15 years since I've eaten there but today it was just as good as I remember. The atmosphere is like taking a trip back in time. Everyone was friendly and very helpful despite it being obvious we didn't know how to move through the ordering process. You grab your tray and utensils at the door then your items are handed to you as you move through the line. The prices were still very reasonable and the food was just as delicious as I remember. I highly recommend staying classic and getting a chili cheese dog with everything and fries. My fiance ordered a cup of chili as well and loved the unique flavor. Their menu has expanded too with greek food, chicken and including all day breakfast. Pie slices on display in a dessert cooler seems to still be a staple. Although the wait is very short, there is a drive through if you don't want to dine in. Highly recommend.Photo is their serving tray. They don't actually sell them, but we bought it for $20. “There’s nothing like a good chili dog,that’s what we eat in the mid-west.as a chili dog connoisseur I stumbled here while driving by and seeing the sign out front advertising their dogs. I had to try. That being said…I ordered a few dogs with a root beer and fries. WOW! This is Oregon/Northwood’s best kept secret! These chili dogs will not disappoint! I promise. Mustard,onions and sauce is my recommendation. They also make a great ice cream/slush freeze mix that I also highly recommend.“
