“Friday night dinner out with friends, strongly recommend a reservation, place was pretty busy. Spanish-style food and good. Decent drink menu and a number of good choices. The booths are certainly "cosier" than the tables are. There is a very interesting oven/grill that the owners had imported for the restaurant, it is a thing to see. Sitting at the bar, you have a ring-side view of the cooking.The drinks were good, if not a little pricier than expected for a strip-mall restaurant. Strong nod towards the Barrel Aged Black Manhattan. The food was very good. I would highly recommend the veggie board - it was more than enough for the four of us. I had the Artichoke and Arugula pesto pasta which was good, would have been better if the penne was more towards al-dente and a little less heavy on the walnuts. The wife enjoyed the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and said the habanero aioli gave it a nice kick.“
“Heard about this place since moving to Delaware. Everyone has chicken wings BUT Mashida has the best. Their sauces are delicious and wing size is very good. We had spicy garlic ? which were not too spicy and chicken sandwich with honey garglic tenders on it.They also give you a few crunchy pickled Daikon radish pieces which were delicious. Can’t say enough. Will return and bring more Mashida soldiers. lol“
“1st time here, went inside and cashier Lilli was the best! She gave me recommendations, suggested the mac & cheese and she was correct that it was delicious! The plain chicken salad on a croissant was delicious as well!It was clean inside, the staff was courteous and all the food that I saw (other patrons) looked appetizing!My only critique (not criticism) would be to put a little more chicken salad on the croissant (a little too much empty space around the edges of the bread), but not a dealbreaker!I will definitely be a repeat customer here!“

“The food was very good. I got the boneless chicken breast with the Holy"#+@*%?" heat level and was not disappointed. That level of heat is not for anyone who doesn't want to lose feeling in their face, lol. They have everything from regular no heat up to the highest level, "Unholy"!! I won't even consider trying the "Unholy" as the "Holy" was incredibly hot and the highest I ever need to go. I've been to other "hot" chicken restaurants in the central Ohio area and was unpleasantly let down. They just lacked the heat I'm looking for, the portions were small, the price was high, and the taste was lacking. Hot Chicken Takeover was everything that the others were not. The portions were great and the price was good too. I have found my Hot Chicken restaurant in central Ohio and will be returning soon.“
“I love their chicken as do many people. This location has a egress problem but... they are relocating to a much larger lot just down the road. I think the new place will be much more efficient. Staff are always friendly. Kudos for them working so hard.“
“So many bad remarks on the owner and it’s so far from the truth. The owner is one of the most genuine guys I have met in a long time. He’s easy and fun to talk to, even though we don’t always have the same viewpoints on things. I have also never seen him be disrespectful in any way to a customer, so I’m not sure how much I believe some of these reviews. Most importantly, the food is always delicious. Keep it up chicken man!“
