“I went through the drive thru and ordered fish sandwiches. I think it was the first day they started selling it for Lent. They weren’t sure if they had any. They told me they did but it would be awhile. When I got to the pay window I was offered a drink while I waited. I was told to pull to a parking spot and they would bring it out which they did in less than 10 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised about the customer service. I stopped going there because of their lousy service. The last time there I had to leave before I got my food because my lunch hour was over and needed time to get back. I will now be a customer again and I didn’t get the name of the lady that brought my food to the parking lot but she has made the whole fast food experience enjoyable again!! Thanks again!!!“
“Nice interior decor, especially if you're into cars. It's like eating inside of a Ford Museum. The kids and I favorite part were the moving car parts moving among the ceiling. Cool place for kids and groups. As far as food was concerned, it was a good 7/10. Good burger & fries, cool drinks, nice service. Your ordinary delicious burger. "Nothing really jumped off the plate for me, but then again, if it did, would it be a good thing ?"“
“I had sold the City Saver App to a friend of mine. He told me that he and his wife came to Ali's for dinner to use the coupon. He was SO pleased with the food. He ordered the mushroom burger. He was impressed with the blends of meat and that you make your own patties. They never knew your restaurant existed if they hadn't had the App. He said they would definitely go back.“
“Jody and the team are so friendly and helpful. You don’t see this at drive thrus these days! Also, people should realize that you can get things like real eggs and broccoli cooked to order at Big Boy.I’m actually a regular weight lifter and in good shape, and by far Big Boy is the only drive thru set up for someone like me. I’m here all the time. I just wish they marketed themselves this way - I think it would be good for business.“
“Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Seated right away. Server was friendly and professional. Manager was engaged and helpful with egg allergy questions via email beforehand. Hot beer cheese, house truffle chips, Krueger's burger without special sauce or dijonnaise (egg allergy), and Rocky Marciano were all excellent. Rare delicious brioche bun with no eggs! Overall great experience and highly recommended. We'll be back!Dietary restrictions: Egg allergy - no eggs in the brioche bun, beer cheese, pretzels, or house truffle chips“
“If you are a diner person, this WWII-era establishment is a great breakfast spot. The hot chocolate is out of this world, and the usual diner standbys are all on the menu. This is a Hyde Park institution, with regular customers. This morning when I was there, the waitress got a gift from a regular customer— an outfit for the baby the server is expecting. It’s that kind of neighborhood place, which warms my heart.“
“I meet my sister on many Sundays at the Ft. Wright Kyle’s Ln. for breakfast. We usually seek out LaTosha. She is so efficient and friendly. We just enjoy seeing her and she sees us coming and asks as she seating us if it’s our usual drinks. My sister is going through some health issues and LaTosha always asks about how she’s doing.Even when it’s full, the wait is generally reasonable. Prices have gone up and we’re both on a fixed income. So this has decreased the frequency of our visits. The place is decorated nicely - homey and warm. There is another Frisch’s nearby that was redecorated and is rather austere, and chilly - both in ambiance and actual temperature. We’ve quit going there even though it’s better in-between site.“
“I looked up restaurants in the Cincinnati area that use tallow and Heyday is the only place. My kids and I ate there today were amazed by the service. The food was excellent with bursting flavors in the fries burger and tots. Thank you for a great experience with my family.“
“The poutine is amazing! Fresh cut fries, cheese curds and homemade beef gravy it's some of the best you'll find in the city. Their Cincy style chili is really good to it's real meaty and kinda spicy! This is a very good neighborhood restaurant and worth the drive if you're within 30 minutes. Oh, their burgers are legendary.“
“Absolutely fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Modern diner vibe with mouthwatering burgers, delicious boozy milkshakes, and the best, most tender, juciest fried chicken I've ever had.Parking: You can usually find street parking nearby“
“Not much to say. Just burger perfection. Nothing fancy about any of it. Its a dive in the best sense of the word. Just meat, cheese, soft bun, onion and pickle (I add little ketchup and mustard on bottom). Thats it!!! Nothing else needed. I will make the 40 min drive again for sure.“
“Allergen: Note for people with allergies that their hot dog buns contain eggs - unlike most hot dog buns I've encountered. Because of this discovery (which I'm very happy the waitress told me when I said I had an allergy), we ordered to-go and I replaced the bun at home. Also will note for those with allergies that you may want to confirm all ingredients with staff; my bf got the kimchi hot dog and we planned to share until there was a mystery sauce on it that he thought could be egg-based. We couldn't find the sauce listed on the menu for that item to id it. Taste of the food was excellent, but we do feel as though the portions were much smaller because they were to-go, and that made the price seem severe for our servings. Worth trying, and service was excellent. Just make sure to dine in.“
“Gordos in the hole in the wall burger spot that you didn't know you needed. With thick, unique, and tasty burgers. Thick cut fries come standard. There are so many great burger combos to try, but you need to try either the GFat or the simple PBJ. Across their menu you'll find other sneaky good options like the tacos or the pear salad, but the burgers are the core of why you seek out Gordos. Service can be a little slow, especially when it gets busy, but you can often find this place to be fairly open unless it's a Xavier game day. Helpful to know: Park to the left side of the building in the odd looking lot. The right side of the building parking is owned by a different building/business. On nice days, see if you can sit in the back patio. It's a little oasis from the noisy of Norwoods main drag.“
“Chef Salazar has successfully created a tasty brunch nook in Findley Market. Come for the food, not the atmosphere. The Monte Cristo made on delectable French toast, not too sweet with just the right amount of jam. The Carlos (formerly goetta hash) with goetta was savory with just a hint of smoky yum. Both the blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes were also delicious. We added a side of bacon-crispy and charred on the edges! The breakfast sandwich, not pictured could do better on presentation but the taste recovered the blah plating. The Espresso Martini was the perfect drink to round out our sweet and savory abundant breakfast. The bill was under $90 with tip, for 4 of us with shared dishes of bacon and the Carlos. The restaurant itself is a little boring, the coo-coo clock wall lacks creativity, the chairs & tables are reminiscent of grandmas kitchen, slightly uncomfortable and no place for a purse. But the fact it is on the corner of Findley Market and the food is great makes up for the lack of creative atmosphere. Hopefully they splash some paint on the walls or work up the decor to deepen the homey and comfortable feel they are attempting.“
“My family was visiting Newport Aquarium and after we left we found Mad Mike’s to eat. We ordered 2 of the Big Tex burgers and chicken tenders. These were the best burgers we have ever had and my son loved the chicken tenders. The service was great and the employee we encountered was amazing.“
“The place is like a novel that is about to happen. It's like America in the 1950s all over again. Once you become a regular -- it doesn't take long -- they are happy to see you. They will call you by your first name. There are a lot of working people who come in there for lunch and middle management types with ties and shirts with rolled-up sleeves. They come there because the food is great and the servers are amazing. The servers draw happy pictures on your check saying thank you. You can watch them cook; it's a diner. I usually get a Greek Salad but the hamburgers and fries are great. So are the Gyros with the Tzatziki. Coffee is bottomless and you have to tell them to stop! The food is great and the service is great. It's like family. They are busiest from around 11:30 to about 1:30 PM. They close at 4 PM. They only open on weekdays. They take credit cards.Vegetarian options: Not vegan but you can get salad and sometimes vegetarian soup. It is Mediterranean so you should be able to work something out. Ask the staff what they would recommend.“
“First time here. Nice little neighborhood spot, busy crowd in a weekday lunch. Fast and friendly service. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The fries weren’t anything special, just your regular bagged frozen fries. Cheeseburger was good!“
“I don’t have any pics to share because it was gone before I remembered. I had the steak tips and veggies (zucchini and mushrooms). Perfect dinner for this diabetic. So tasty. My children ordered Mac without the steak. They weren’t too fond of it and agreed it likely would have been better with the steak. I hope you all come back to Enon!“
“Perfection!Garth Burger, loaded, cup of chili, loaded, french fries, and a large Coke. It's been my order, my whole life and I love nothing more than that meal.Nostalgia has a lot to do with my review. lLile a lot of Cincinnatians who grow up in Hyde Park I have been going to this restaurant for over 45+ years. My happy place!“
“It's hard not to like Anchor grill. It's as "local greasy spoon" as it gets, but it has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Sort of if your Mom and a couple of her friends opened a diner, and you stopped in for dinner. The staff are friendly and polite, and the food is surprisingly solid. If I'm in the Midwest, I have to satisfy my breaded, fried pork tenderloin sandwich craving. Theirs is thin but decent, and you can't beat the price. Cash only. Give it a try. The pancakes look great. If you're not a local, be aware many restaurants here allow you to smoke inside, and this is one of them.“
“Some of the best onion rings I have ever had. I had the Provençal burger and it was delicious. We were traveling in a group of 20; a chaperoned trip for my daughter's school. They took us with no reservation and seated us all together on the patio. Took us a little over an hour to get in and out. Service was awesome and the food was tasty. If you're in the area and looking for a reasonably priced burger joint - because there are plenty in the area that aren't - give BRU a shot. Trendy and uptown vibe to it.“
“This is one of the very best restaurants in Ft Thomas. The food is amazing and the people are the best. Everyone there not only makes you so comfortable and the food so great , they make you feel like you have been best friends forever. I will be coming there more often .My name is Debi and I absolutely love the “ Tickle Pickle. Love the staff so much!“
“The food was amazing! Super tasty, all of the menu items had very creative names. We had the meatallica burger with geotta added on (most of the menu has either geotta or grippos you can add on and its delicious!) The oreo speedwagon shake was also delicious. All in all a must have if you're in Northside and want something quick and tasty for lunch (: the patio area was very nice and not so cramped in the dining area. Although the tables inside the restaurant are very cool and have a lot of neat little things in the tabletops to look at. Awesome food, staff is very nice, atmosphere is very cool. Will definitely eat here again (:Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly, there is a whole kids menu that has some interesting names such as the Fleetwood mac n cheese meal. Definitely one to check out with the whole family (:“
“We stopped in today for lunch/dinner and it was our first time eating here. I got the fried chicken sandwich, my sister got a burger and my boyfriend got the nachos with smoked chicken. The chicken sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches that I have ever had and I haven’t had many of those and the fries were delicious. My sister said the same thing about her burger and my boyfriend really liked the nachos. The server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice, laid back and relaxed and the prices weren’t that bad. I will definitely be going back and I recommend to anyone who is reading this review who hasn’t been there yet.“
“Was my first time, and my husband's first time at the new location, it was awesome! Amazing slaw dog, again my first and new favorite! Loved the chili, the cheesecake ? and they have so much more, will definitely be returning. The service is very very good! A must try!!Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, high chairs and great desserts? ?“
“Transports you to an authentic English Pub.Love the wee fish and chips. Haven't had a bad meal there.Parking: We went on a Monday @5p, plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap packing in front of restaurant. No automatic doors“
“I have been a skyline fan for most of my life. Blue Ash chili has changed me. They do not skimp on your cheese or chili portions. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. To top it off it's reasonably priced! Inflation hits everyone but somehow Blue Ash chili keeps it affordable.“
“This was our 1st time here. We are pescatarians and finding good food nearby our home is hard. We found this place on Google and thought we would give it a try. We ordered the salmon fries, salmon sliders and the whiting meals. We had to wait a little bit while he cooked our food which is fine. We finally got our food and he was smiling so hard while he bagged our food. He knew he had did his thang with our food and HE DID. Our food was so good!! We will definitely be back!“
“The owner is so kind and quick with service! My go-to spot for halal food in OTR, everything is fresh and delicious. There have been a couple of occasions where I walked up and there was no one in the building (despite being "open" according to the hours on the window) but I can tell it's not something that happens frequently ?“
“The Filson is amazing the atmosphere is Great Our server was great very interactive and made sure we enjoyed everything. Now the food was great there Grippo wings will keep me coming back. The uber pretzel with the hot cheese sauce was ? I could drink that sauce ?. All around great experience!!!“
“Easy parking, we were with a group of 10. Great ambiance and easy to hear and talk with the group. Waiter did a perfect delivery from the start taking each drink and food order through delivery and close out. Food was prepared right and was delicious. Great meeting place.“
“As I am becoming a regular patron of Friendly Stop Bar and Grill in Glendale, Ohio, I can confidently say it's become more than just a dining spot for me—it's a home away from home. From the moment you walk in, you're enveloped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a big, friendly hug. What truly sets Friendly Stop apart is the sense of community it fosters. It's a place where locals gather to unwind, share stories, and create lasting memories. Whether you're catching the game with friends or enjoying an after work drink. In essence, Friendly Stop Bar and Grill isn't just a restaurant—it's a haven of hospitality, where good food and good company come together to create unforgettable experiences. If you haven't paid them a visit yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.Parking: There is plenty of off street parking“
“The burger madness deal and the loaded fries here are simply phenomenal! I like to add barbecue sauce to my burger and dip my fries in ranch and both are just so good. Oh and the Hurricane Arthur is beautiful but also So delicious! When able I like to sit near the window to watch the world go by while eating and all in all its just a nice place to go. We're there fairly often as proof that I mean it hehe“
“Happy St. Paddy's Day! Less insane the Hap's Irish Pub, but still a great place to toast our ancestors and the Emerald Isle. Apologies for the fish and chips, but they were a must for my husband! We did have an Irish mule and a Jamison.“
“Bourbon burger was great, service at the bar was top notch. Wife's thought her classic burger was a tiny bit undercooked, but it looked ok to me. Draft beer selection was very good with a lot of local craft selections. Will definitely return.“
“Really enjoyed the entire experience. Parking was free and near the business. Tweedy's is very close to the main entrance. Place was busy, but not packed, we were able to secure a table near Tweedy's. Both cheese burger and chicken sandwich was good and big. My only gripe is being charged $2 for a can of mountain dew. The Korean chicken place has 20oz cokes for $2.50“
“This is my favorite Dairy Queen location! On summer nights there is usually a line at the drive through, but it moves at a decent pace. Everyone that works there has always been very friendly. The best part about this location is they give a generous amount of toppings in their Blizzards. The summer special, peanut butter puppy chow, was my absolute favorite this summer.“
“Quaint little spot I'm Obyonville. Best chicken tenders ever. They're beer battered and fried and they are out of this world.Parking: Paid parking lot is 3.00 per hour but there's always plenty of room. Street parking available but high in demand.“
“My favorite local restaurant! The burger special is my favorite weekend bite to eat. The fry seasoning is insanely good on their crispy shoestring fries. And when I took my mom, she raved about the cucumber sandwich. Staff is always friendly when my boyfriend and I go. I’ve dined in and had delivered and I’ve been satisfied with both, but definitely prefer sitting in the restaurant as I love the atmosphere.“
“I was ready for a small outing. There was Frisch's. I received a warm welcome and was seated quickly. This was not a busy time but I was given first rate service. Food was good too. Try dining in. You'll be glad you did.Kid-friendliness: I'm not a kid but I was dining alone and there was no bad vibes. No one even raised an eyebrow.“
“EDIT 2/23/24:Just wanted to give a shout out to 50 West for outstanding customer service! They followed up with me very quickly regarding a less than stunning meal and not only offered a refund but also seemed to take my suggestions into account when preparing their Ohio Burger. Changing my review because of their great response and because I genuinely have enjoyed their other offerings in the past. Will definitely be back sooner than planned. We went there yesterday, and unfortunately is was one of the worst experiences we've had. I've enjoyed the other burgers in the past, but the Ohio burgers we ordered for Cincinnati Chili Week had so much of the whole grain mustard (double slathered on both buns) on them that it was literally inedible. My nephew took one bite and couldn't finish it because "it lasts like floor cleaner". I thought he was being hyperbolic until I also tasted it... I did order him a new one without mustard and got a packet of heinz yellow instead. I only replaced his because I couldn't afford to purchase 2 more at cost. All in all, for 3 people we spent over 50 bucks and unfortunately 2 of the Ohio burgers went in the trash. The service was nice though and always enjoy the beers. But I will never order the Ohio burger again and it will be awhile before we are back.“
“Food and drinks were super tasty. We had Brian as our server and loved our time there! He suggested that we sit downstairs which was completely open for us. Brian offered information about specials and their best drinks. Definitely ask for him if you stop! The atmosphere of the place was great for a night out with friends.“
“First time at Turf Club! We had a party of 6 and were seated instantly on a Friday evening. The dining room consists of the bar, some booths, and tables in the middle using bar stools. The staff were super friendly, and the ambiance was inviting. Definitely some the best chili and one of the best burgers I'll probably ever have. Top notch quality all around! Shoutout to Sarah for being such a great server and for giving great recommendations. If you want to really experience it all and get some cocktails, expect to spend $100+. 100% worth it, we will for sure be back!!“
“Anyone passing through NKY with time to spare has to try the dari bar in the summer!! Super cute small business that is still cash-only. The workers are always so nice to customers, and the ice cream is too good to pass up. Ever had kings island blue ice cream? It's here!!“
“Do not pass up the hashbrown balls! This little piece of Cincinnati history is a wonderful place to enjoy your mornings and early afternoons. Even though the place is full of regulars you'll feel so incredibly welcome as a first timer.“
“Favorite burgers in Western Hills! The Nation and Memphis are my favorites and their tots are really good as well. Their BIT sandwiches rotate and are also really good as well (the current one is a fish sandwich that's delicious). We've also been there for brunch a few times and everything we've tried has been very good. I also really like that there's a pickup window.Vegetarian options: Black Bean BurgerKid-friendliness: My kid loves the burger and mini corn dogs.“
“If you've been, you know it's the best. Sheila, cold beer, awesome wings, soup, and burgers. What more do you need? Prices are very reasonable. (If you're scrolling and see the one star left by Jon, maybe you'll get a laugh like I did. He said deceitful pricing since the online menu said wings $1.50. Math genius said they are really $2.25 each because he was charged $9 for 6 wings. ) This is a neighborhood bar and grill. It's cozy. There are regulars, but the owners and staff treat everyone like family. Trust me on this. I drive up from Georgia every few months and Sheila always greets me and remembers what I ordered 3-6 months prior.“
“I went through the drive-through, so I couldn't rate the atmosphere. I got the codfish sandwich, which was a nice size, freshly fried, and served on a delicious bun. My aunt really liked the Culver's root bear, and I was jealous that I didn't try it myself. I only gave 4 stars because I did not try enough yet.“
“The fat Al was really good. The chicken was honestly better than the burger, but together it was fantastic. Added a lot of salt. Has a tangy sauce on it and they toast the bun (looks burned but it still tasted great). Fries were a tad papery - may have been because I went at an odd time. Still really good. It's in the food kitchen and there are tables around the building to eat at, but I would try to take it outside. If you are eating solo it will be too much to get a meal and try any other places though. I did go at an off time but they made all the food fresh right in front of me. Took some time but was worth it. Too expensive for me to be a regular but I'm glad I tried it once!“
“I absolutely love this place! This is my absolute favorite ice cream place. The cones are awesome and so delicious. But the blizzards are the top hit there. They have really good flavors and different cup sizes. And like they say, their ice cream is really made to defy gravity.“
