“I went to this location for the first time this evening and I’ll definitely be back. The welcoming atmosphere when I walked in was the first thing I noticed. Following that Jordan at the register was very kind taking my order, and then I met Daniel the manager. Daniel should teach a class in leadership, he was leading his team providing instruction and expressing this gratitude to them for being there and their work.It was so refreshing to not only see and receive first hand wonderful customer service but to also see such wonderful leadership to others.“

“Have worked at UC for a long time and ashamed to say that I just tried Cincy Gourmet Deli this week (I remember the old one and it was dirty and gross). I'm assuming it has new owners, but regardless, I'm impressed. It was clean and had food and beverages nicely displayed. I tried the chopped cheese sandwich and it was delicious. Will definitely go back again and will try other sandwiches. I read other reviews about having to wait a long time to receive their order, but I went at 3pm so my sandwich was made in about 5 minutes. I would highly recommend, especially for UC students (and faculty & staff).“

“This was our second time at Izzy's. Portions are really good and the menu has something for everyone. They bring you a small bowl of pickles to start, which thrilled my husband. We then shared a corned beef Reuben and the pastrami Reuben. Both came with a huge potato pancake. Easily as big as your hand. Everything is very good. Meat is tasty and the dressing has a good flavor. Staff is great. They will always give suggestions when asked. Tomato basil soup was ok. Almost tasted like a marinara sauce. Definitely fun to try a lot of different options.“

When I first walked in, I noticed how clean the store was. Then as I got closer to the counter I was greeted by both the young lady at the register and Erica the manger on duty. Moreover, Erica and her team were pleasant and accommodating throughout my dine-in experience, bringing my food to the table, checking to make sure everything was okay, immediately cleaning the tables of other guests after they finished dining, and wishing me a good day when I left... I liked the way they had the pickles & Dijon mustard on the side, I used both & the pickles seemed homemade. My side was coleslaw & that was delish as well. “11 out of 10 you need this in your life. I was just recently sent to Ohio for a class and stumbled upon this place. It became the daily lunch spot, get the bacon mac and chee....it's literally the best. The only thing wrong with this place is I'm back home in Tampa and they don't have any here. The sandwiches are great, the tots are cooked perfectly crispy, and the tomato soup is the best tomato soup.“

DiBellas is much better, actually much much much better. I got a club as I always do. You instantly can tell in the first bite that every ingredient on the sandwich was high quality. I realized I didn't get their oil dressing add on, so I went and asked for a little to add to my sandwich. Game changer!!! I came in today (2/20/24) around 12:30 and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The man who made my sandwich had some large tattoos on his forearms and I swear I never saw a more beautiful sandwich being made just for me. Another one had long curly hair tied up and was super kind, he hyped up my choice in toppings. The guy who sliced my meats and cheeses was very polite and the lady at the front was very sweet. However, like many fast food the prices are getting way, way too much for lunch and this is my primary reason I will not be back anytime soon. I think, that is the model everyone is going for anymore, see a customer once a quarter, but make double what you did in the past. “There’s no Penn Station where I live so I try to go to PS every time I’m in Cincinnati. I felt badly walking in 30 min before they closed but the gentlemen were happy to take my order and they made a fantastic sandwich.I get the vegetarian and it was perfectly lined to the edges with veggies and melted cheese. I used to work at a PS a long time ago and when the regional manager would inspect our sandwiches he would make sure we made the sandwich perfect. The gentlemen who made my sandwich tonight made a perfect sub.The fries were fresh and the portion was generous (I think I benefited from being the last customer) but the whole experience was great. “This was our first visit here. The restaurant was clean, the restrooms are clean(big thing for me). Service was very quick and our soups were delicious! My coffee shake was yummy too. I'd recommend anyone stopping here.“
