Today was my son's birthday he just turned 11 and she made his day! She is a gem who deserves the best and I hope and pray she gets recognized. She has a great personality!!!! God bless her! She's truly amazing ?. My family will be back because of her and the great food.”

“Its a beautiful little spot with amazing food and coffee. i always get the chicken salad sandwich with toasted sourdough… its my favorite around. my bf gets the pizza panini and loves it every time as well! their coffee is top tier and today i tried the iced tea with some added rasberry syrup and im. in. love. “They have fresh juicy crispy southern style fried chicken and also seats. I had the mushroom and swiss burger and used one of the seats. There were also several tables. There is ample space behind the dumpster if you are a male who needs to urinate. Great experience all around.”

“We were staying in Jackson Center, OH at the Airstream plant and went touring around and found Alcove Restaurant for breakfast. We love small town hole in the wall diners and this one was perfect. Local place with a very busy grill. Good coffee and hot food. Sorry didn't get any pics but we would definitely go back.”

We had a basket of onion rings, a giant fish sadwhich with housemate tarter sauce, and a tenderloin pizza and even took a fresh baked cherry pie to-go! All of it was really good and we're already planning our next trip back! We even played a game of Connect 4 while we waited and our server was very friendly too!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of family games for all ages!”

The whole place is very quaint.Dietary restrictions: There aren't any dietary notations on the menu. I had to ask to be sure what was or was not gluten free. Be sure to ask for modifications, if needed (ex: no croutons on the salad, etc).Parking: The nearest lot is small. Street parking is the best option. Depending upon the time of day, this could be difficult.”

“The girls working there need to know when they stand at the window, and they talk about the people in the cars they can be heard very clearly. That roof line acts like a megaphone and when sitting in the cars right in front of the window your voice is crystal clear even when you are talking low.I agree that lady had a very large forehead, but you don't need to announce it!”
