“Met a friend for drinks and dinner here. Got there early but there was a bit of a wait after we got there. Very popular place! Or easier was very nice, very attentive. The menu looked awesome. I had the mussels. They also had live music that night so the vibe was very festive! Can't wait to go back!“
“Taylor and crew have done a great job on so many aspects here…the sandwiches are outstanding (best turkey sandwich, hands down), the meats and other prepared items are great quality- they even turned my wife into a bacon snob! And the wine and beer selection is thoughtful and deep. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is easy. I’ve been in at least once a week for 5-6 years!“
“My wife and I drove by on our way to REI. The place looked cool so we decided to stop on the way home for lunch. We got there right after they opened and we were greeted right away. The place was super clean and well put together. We sat at the bar for convenience. The owners “2 brothers” were there and helped us as soon as we sat. The lunch menu was good and had the right amount of choices. We also looked at the dinner menu and it looked amazing! Definitely heavy on fresh fish dishes. We ended up ordering the Breakfast Burger and the brussels sprouts. The burger was made fresh with farm raised beef. 1/2 lbs patty not a tiny burger. The bun was soft and flaky. It can with hash brown potatoes which were fried perfectly. The brussels sprouts were also delicious. It was a good serving too considering it was just an appetizer. My wife had a handmade margarita which she said it was great and I had two craft beers. I’d say it was a great experience and we will make the trip back for dinner soon.“
“Came to town for my daughter's high school show choir event and wanted a quick lunch and a beer in between performances. I had no idea we picked Solon's holiest hole in the wall until we walked in. Loved it. Great food and lots of people having fun at noon on a Saturday afternoon. I'm sure we'll be back for next year's competition.“
“We stayed at a nearby hotel and ended up going here multiple times. Hands down the best vegetable samosas I've ever had. I wish I could've tried everything, but the chicken curry and biryani was also fantastic. I wish I lived closer by so I could order from this place all the “
“Most restaurants are either affordable with a limited menu of burgers, pizza etc. Or high-priced offering more elaborate items. The American Tavern offers both at reasonable prices that will please a variety of tastes. The one downside is parking where people drive around looking for a spot and leave. It would be nice if they could fix it.“
“If you want a safe, clean place to eat with well prepared food at a competitive price with good service, you will not be disappointed! They also have specials during specific times.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy drop off, patio access is good.“
“Attended a surprise birthday party for my brother-in-lawParking: The parking lot was very crowded. Lots of things going on at the restaurant. Handicap spaces limited.Kid-friendliness: Appeared to be kid - friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It was handicap accessible.“
“Went to Simons Motorcars, wanted to get a new car for my birthday and sure enough met Reggie Dilsy and Ken. It took a few but it was worth it. Amazing guys , if you want a great experience got see Reggie Dilsy and your dreams will come true. Thank you guys and man I am so happy ? KEN AND REGGIE MAN THANKS THIS IS AN AMZING BIRTHDAY GIFT AND AN UNFORGETTABLE HOLIDAY .WOW“
“I had the flat iron steak. It was cooked perfectly and came with a delicous crispy potato croquet. Others I was with had the fish dinner and mushroom burger both meals came with perfectly cooked hand cut French fries. We all are looking forward to a return visit.“
“Great selection of craft-brewed beers, meads, sour beers, served by knowledgeable bartenders. Delicious small selection of food in the pop up "shack" in the back...mellow unpretentious atmosphere/large tables/no TVs. If this is your scene, highly recommend!Parking: Free parking at night in the lot at Washington and Lee“
“The place was very cool and the drinks were excellent. But the bartender watched us walk in and left. He went into the small kitchen and started doing dishes for 5 or 10 minutes before coming back to the bar to serve us a drink. Very odd to just leave people allowed in the bar like that. But he was friendly and made a great drink. Also we were the only ones there so bartender leaving didn't make any sense.“
“The Beachwood Truck Bar not only serves up fantastic drinks but invites you to bring your own food for a personalized feast. The laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff make it a top pick for those seeking a relaxed, flavor-packed experience.“
“The food is always consistent here, you know just what to expect. Great fries ! Always fresh ,hot and tasty. The Rueben is my goto but the patty melt and chicken sandwiches are great too. The wait staff is professional, polite and efficient .My only complaint is it gets a bit noisy when it's packed but to be expected in an old building such as this.“
“This is our favorite classic local bar and grill in the entire region, the history here is awesome and the ownership/leadership good people. Not only is the food excellent (best wings around but only on Wednesdays). The environment inside will amaze you.A truly “hometown haunt” where you can meet and chat with authentic and honest folks, while having the kids with you as a family weekly event. The craft beer selection is ALWAYS on point and unique.“
“If you're looking for the cozy, coffee shop of bars, this is your place. The drinks are fantastic, AND the atmosphere is the real jewel here. This place feels like home away from home. Offering a warm, inviting space for conversation or reflection year-round and a cute, little patio great for enjoying another's company or doing a little people watching in the warmer months, The Whiskey Bar does not disappoint. Oh, and you'll often be pleasantly surprised by some live music or snacks that will only brighten an already wonderful time!“
“Great food I will definitely come back, our server was the best most awesome woman ever, made me laugh so hard I was in tears, nobody can ever make me laugh like that, I can't remember her name but I will always remember her face and how hilarious she was, hopefully she's working when I come back which is soon!P.S. The water pitcher man???“
“We went later on in the evening. It wasn't too busy, and they have a lot of comfortable seating, including couches and a nice window seat. They do have outdoor seating with a fire pit and an old tree that really adds to the scenery. The drinks were amazing. I had a salted caramel dessert martini. I think this is my new favorite bar perfect for date night.“
“We split the two medallion special, which was cooked as ordered and could be cut with a butter knife (no steak knife required). The broccoli was tender, but not soft. The food came out promptly. We ate in the main dining area., which was quiet. All in all, we had a very enjoyable evening.“
“Thomas, our server, was wonderful. Great recommendations and attention to our table. There was a lobster tail special with risotto that 2 in our party ordered. The other 2 ordered the filet mignon. We were able to make our own surf and turfs. Everything was delicious.“
“What a great family owned Mexican Restaurant! The prices are very affordable! They have a huge menu! I recommend the dessert chimichonga! It's fried with cheesecake in the center! My Husband had the tilapia with shrimp & I had the chimichonga dinner with rice, beans, guacamole and Mexican salad! We will definitely be back! My Husband also had the Mexican street corn that was out of this world!“
“Everyone here is so cool. Whenever I don't feel like going to funhouse (because we've been there a million times that month) and want another laid-back bar, Social Room is the go-to. The bartender knows my drink whenever I come in and she's so sweet and bubbly! The wait time is nonexistent, the patio is real cute, and there are a billion restaurants over here if you want food before or after drinks. Plenty of parking too, very stressfree experience overall.“
“Small restaurant with a limited, but tasty and reasonably priced menu with a spattering of unique offerings. Perfect for a quick bite & some wine. I hear their ribs are great, but we weren't hungry enough for that. AJ was very helpful recommending something light & quick (they were closing in 40 minutes) for dinner. He suggested an Italian wine which my husband said was fantastic. Food was made to order with attentive service. They have a large wine menu and an amazing selection of wines by the bottle in the adjoining room. We will come back on a Saturday for their rib special.“
“Cozy, hidden gem of a restaurant. The lighting sets the mood upon entrance. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Full restaurant, but not too loud. I've tried almost everything on the menu at least once, and never had a bad experience. Tonight, french onion soup and a mushroom soup special. Both amazing. Entrees, chicken Collette and chicken pot pie. Both very tasty, hot, and well seasoned. Creme brulee for dessert. Devoured. Everything again, was a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend.... Make reservations for sure......“
“Very good experience with state of the art simulators, great food, and great service. It’s definitely a little pricy, but it’s a top notch golf experience. The Canton location is also great, but the Twinsburg location is definitely a little nicer.“
“Krista is the best she made me a drink based on me saying I dont really drink and I like sweet things! She knows what shes doing she had the perfect drink for me it was great! The food was good and the environment is just overall fun! Had a great time!“
“Happy to give an honest review of a great, local establishment.Went to get some draft beers at the Buffalo Wild Wings next store to Gilbert's and was met with horrid customer service.Myself and 3 others happily walked in to Gilbert's (100 feet from Buffalo Wild Wings) to get some Xmas ale! This was not the kind of bar where people turn their heads and glare at you... it felt warm and welcoming! The bar was full, but the bartender immediately approached us and took our order. She was so kind and sweet. We got our 4 Xmas ales and sat over by the wall -- which was covered with adorable pictures of dogs! We put some music on the touch tunes with no pushback, and shortly after a man approached us. We thought we were going to get scolded for our music selection, but instead it was the Bar owner introducing himself and genuinely thanking us for coming to his bar.He explained that Gilbert was his dog and this bar was dedicated to Gilbert -- hence the wall of dogs!!We really thought this was a fantastic idea (the 4 of us being dog moms) and we're so touched by the owners gesture to introduce himself and explain the bar history. We are SO thankful for this local bar and will never go to b-dubs in lyndhurst again. Prices were great, staff was very friendly, and the bar & bathrooms were very clean!Only call out here -- no draft beer, but they had an excellent selection to choose from! Can't wait to come back! Can't wait to go back!!“
“I was working on Cleveland Heights and Googled "bar near me". It came up with Booker's. The burgers and wings are to die for. They serve non-alcoholic beer, which is great. What a valuable addition to the Cedar Lee area. On Saturdays they have a DJ. I was there when DJ Elory was DJing. Lots of people dance on the dance floor. Thank you Booker's.“
“If you are looking for a smaller ,family run business to enjoy a lunch or dinner , then Tinkers is the place. Sometimes there is a wait .....but, absolutely worth it!The food is prepared fresh, to order and is always filling and delicious. They do have a set set menu that covers all tastes , a children's menu and dessert menu.Never disappointed with the plate presentation , the taste and the amount of great food you get.In the warmer weather they offer outside seating along Tinkers Creek in the park and wood burning pits in the cooler weather. Great atmosphere and a VERY good staff.“
“With a picnic table in the middle of the room, a bandstand that's 6" higher than the dance floor, pool tables that's always busy and neon behind the bar, this is a classic bar with zero pretension. And beyond the drinker-friendly prices, this is a local haunt that attracts the best bands in Northeastern Ohio. When the bands aren't playing, the jukebox is lethal. The doors are open in summer, adding fresh air and often a breeze. Friendly, casual, fun, it's the kind of place you're always welcome, and after the second beer, you're practically a local.“
“They have an amazing selection and the staff are knowledgeable about whiskey. You can drink cheap or expensive here.Parking: Open parking lot. Free, plenty of space unless the bar is literally full.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or ramps. I don't have a wheelchair but if I did I can't think of any issue I would have including restrooms.“
“It was a very busy place from the looks when you walk in. It didn't take any time at all to become noticed by the bartender. She politely took our orders and we were served in no time at all. It had a great atmosphere and good choice of music. When in town I will visit again. OH and the fries have an awesome seasoning.“
“We stopped here last night for the first time and I just have to say Dustin and the rest of the staff are so wonderful, I lost a ring and all of them were doing their best to find it for me. They were so friendly and pleasant, like old friends! The burgers and fries were amazing, love those steak fries! We will definitely stop back here next time we’re in Chagrin, actually I think I’ll make the trip just to go here! ☺️“
“This is our neighborhood bar. A few have shut down over the past few years, but TOB is the go-to place for a laid back atmosphere that feels like home. There have been staff changes, and I work a lot now. So I don't know who works when... But the owners Mama Sue and Papa Jim are wonderful people. Todd is the best bartender in CLE! Check them out.“
“The dinner and ambience were very nice. We enjoyed everything till the end of the meal waiting for dessert which didn't come till we asked for our check after waiting over 20 minutes. While our server said our desserts were running late, there was no offer of coffee or other service. Again, pleased for the most part.“
“We came in for Fish Fry. I love this bar. People are nice, our server was especially nice! The food was yummy. We got 5-star service so a 5-star is no brainer! Also, there is some sort of putt-putt in basement and one of the best patios. Prices are reasonable and honestly really good people run this place!“
“Good bar food. Great bartenders. The owner is really nice and the place is clean. There is a pool table and a couple of games to play, jukebox and decent prices for drinks and food. Some specials during the week and Karaoke Friday nights. Overall a nice local Mayfield Pub.“
“If you are looking for a place with a lot of televisions showing sports, this is definitely the place to be. They had about 13 screens in there. Also, the DJ was great. The atmosphere was nice and we had a lot of fun. We did not eat food from there but just had food catered in and hung out and had a party so it was fun.“
“I went to B Side Lounge last night and I couldn't wait to leave a review of my experience. Every Tuesday they have a live band in combination with an open mic and it's was really an artist's paradise. There were vocalists, MC's, and musicians that were so talented. It was an ambiance that was unbeatable. This was my first time ever going for this event and I definitely will be going again next Tuesday. The event does have a 10 dollar cover charge but it was worth it. I think it's a great place to go by yourself to meet people, for date night or with friends. Honorable mention: The Long Island cocktails are monstrous in the best way possible!“
“The restaurant has a vintage ambience , little bit of old world charm. I had a struggle to find Vegan & Vegetarian options at the restaurant during dinner and breakfast. On the day of my departure, I came across M lounge, Cleveland Marriott East, and I met Mrs Gwen, she was very kind to listen and quickly conjur a toasted vegetarian sandwich for me and I was very pleased by this gesture. It is disheartening that in this age, Vegan and Vegetarian still find it challenging to find a descent meal while traveling in the US.Vegetarian options: Vegan and Vegetarian options are next to zero, please discover some alternatives if you're staying at Cleveland Marriott East.“
“I DO NOT give out 5 stars willie nillie. What a super cool place to eat in SE Cleveland, OH. This place has a huge menu of food and high-quality craft beers, bottled and on draft. The price is good, the ambiance is good, and the decorations are spot on with a super cool Irish Pub vibe. We stumbled on this place by chance, but we will definitely stop in if we're ever near Cleveland again.“
“Wow. The French Onion soup was delicious. I also had the Tavern Burger which was fabulous. My husband had the beef melt sandwich and said it was delicious. My side of Mac and cheese was also delicious. There was an upcharge for this side but it was worth it. We'll be back.“
“The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of screens, so no matter the seat you choose, you'll have a nice view. The food was fresh, cooked to order, and well prepared. The Buffalo Quesadilla was delicious. It was one of the best and most well priced that I've had in a long time. The bone-in wings with the Caribbean Garlic dry rub was fantastic. I'm usually not a huge fan of a dry rub, but on the strength of this rub alone, I'll be back a lot sooner than anticipated. Great job!“
“I want to THANKs to the lady bar tender that nite OMG I personally don't know what I would of done if y'all would been closed I personally feel y'all saved me because I stopped sweating until I started drinking water.words can't explain how much y'all HELPED me before I continue to keep walking to Cleveland“
“The ambiance was nice. My friend really enjoyed the chicken philly and the mozzarella sticks were on point. We walked in just as they were opening up. Wondering what it would be like later in the evening. Seems like it could be a romantic date night spot.“
“Went with a friend who lived nearby. Had heard about it for some time but finally decided to stop in. The bartender was friendly enough and the drink selections sounded surprisingly complex and sophisticated. I tried a couple and they were both quite good. A far more high end cocktail stop than what we expected. We didn't get a chance to try out their food offerings. Next time.“
“We go there a couple times a week. The steaks are awesome, the soups are always homemade, and the pizza is a thin, cauliflower crust pizza. Its a delicious pizza.Every week there is a different special as well as the regular menu. The owners Tom and Jessica, are locally grown. They are great to talk with. The bartenders know their alcohol, and are always helpful if you want to try something different.During the summer months there is a nicely landscaped, outdoor patio.Stop in and support your local business.Parking: You pull your car into the back and park between the white lines. Not sure what else there is tell.Ha.Kid-friendliness: There is a separate dining room and bar area.Who doesn’t like kids? They are always welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Electric wheel chair elevator.“
