“Such a great little diner. Delicious country fried steak fritter breakfast! The seasoning is right on point and the sausage gravy is delicious. I love it so much I can’t try the Greek omelet because I always have the fritter! Servings and price on point! These guys have a great menu, great price, exceptional service and fast service!“

“This was an awesome find for my girlfriend and I. Were were out antiquing and decided we wanted to eat somewhere. I found this place on Google maps and it was close. So we decided to go. We are definitely glad we did. This is a neat historical building. They have a restaurant and a little museum. The restaurant was nice and cozy. It had that small home town feeling. It was a relaxed atmosphere. The servers were attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic home cooked fresh food. The museum is definitely worth checking out. They also have a small veterans museum there to which I find really fantastic. If your ever in the area I would definitely recommend stopping by you won't be disappointed. Thanks for a fantastic visit.“
“Food was good and fast- beer was great, Blood Orange and Koffee Kolsch were our favorites, but our waiter Andy was the real sell factor! He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable in discussing the beer and spoke to the kids like they were old friends.“

“This place was fantastic. We were there during the lunch rush and the waitress was still very attentive and friendly. My wife and I got the sampler to share and there wasn't anything on it that I wouldn't order again. We sat at the little table by the bar, near where they cooked the food. I was able to see everything that came out of the kitchen and I wanted a bite of all of it! Will make Bags a have-to- go spot to eat at, because I plan on trying everything on the menu.“

“The Towpath Tavern is a very clean, nicely appointed place to eat and drink in historic downtown Bolivar. The wait staff was very friendly. The food items that we ordered were very average for a "bar". It was just kind of "food", if you know what I mean.I would go back when in the area. Summer offers a large outdoor seating area.Vegetarian options: Typical no-meat options.“

“My wife and I went here for Valentines Day dinner (weekend after) we had a reservation for 7 and was seated around 715. Strongly recommend making one. I ordered the chicken parmasean with Alfredo and my wife ordered the eggplant parmasean with Alfredo. Both were amazing and great portions as well! Our waitress was super nice and checked in with us throughout dinner. Pricing was reasonable and food was great!“

“We only ever get take out so don't know how it is in the restaurant but it's in my top 3 for cheese pizza. Homemade pasta is also very good and the service at the back pick up has always been great. The cheese sticks are fantastic, I always eat more than I should.“
“Fantastic little winery inside of an old one room school house. Had the Riesling while I was here and it was fantastic! I'm a sucker for historical buildings being converted to something else, and a winery makes perfect sense for this place. All the wines are named after something educational or scholarly. Service was great and the ladies behind the counter were super friendly. A must visit if you're a wino and find yourself in Dover / Zoar.“

“Very tasty breakfast bar, clean, with friendly staff. My sister and I ate at Shoney's at the beginning and end of our trip to Amish country. We had coupons from a "package" deal at The Dutch Host Inn. We loved the music playing each visit ... 60's, 70's, 80's?Great place!“

“Wanted to try something new after Ragon House (wasn't on their suggestions list) and lunch was awesome! No waiting (maybe because we were the first ones in at 11am and I felt bad for being those people), great service, and our chicken ranch wrap w/ fries and rueben w/ fries were some of the best we ever had! Definitely an older bar setting but the bar and bathroom were cleaner than other in town places, and that's what matters. Definitely will go back when in Bolivar again.“

“I absolutely love this place. The food is always fresh and great tasting. Our waitress Alex (sorry if I butchered her name) was amazing! She was friendly and ready to join our family's joking. We never had to wait for her to respond and be available.“

“Never disappointed, the food is great as is the service. The choices are great and the prices are fair. Portions are enough to fill you up and maybe leave enough room for desert. I especially love the stuffed banana peppers...MMMM. The pizza is good actually I've never had a bad meal here.“

“We opted for the buffet @ $20It included a nice variety of hot foods (3 types of potatoes) ! The salad bar had a few desserts with puddings. Great rolls and a bakery to shop at for more delicious rolls, breads, pies and other wonderful tasty treats! We've driven over an hr for a delightful treat for your taste buds! Don't miss the opportunity for a great meal. There's a regular menu with salmon and fried chicken! Enjoy!Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible except it's quite a maneuver to use the restrooms. It takes two to open the door. The stall is a little tight but I'll sacrifice for a great meal!“
“This was our first place we went to for a meal when we got to Amish Country. I got the roast beef, gravy, mashed potatoes, and corn. Delish!! My husband, Mark, got the meatloaf , mashed potatoes, and corn. They served dinner rolls with the meal and I wanted to eat all of them ...delish!! We split a piece of pecan pie. It was good and not as sweet as some I have had. We would definitely recommend the place!!“

“This was our first time there and the food was excellent. We had the Boston sushi and orange chicken with rice. The orange sauce was the best I ever had. The chicken was lightly breaded and all white meat. The fried rice was good as well. The sushi was lightly deep fried and fresh. This is a must try place to eat.“

“I got the chicken fajita and my wife ordered the beef burritos. Very good size portions and came out piping hot! Unfortunately my wife got one chicken and one beef burrito and they were only lightly seasoned. My fajita had Lots of green pepper and some red and yellow peppers but very little onion. Chips and salsa were probably some of the best ever. Very fast polite service. Atmosphere is nothing great but is clean“
