“The vibe was awesome. The food was even better. I sat up at the bar and chatted with the bartender and the owner. The owner is exactly what a business like this needs. Someone out there on the floor chatting with customers supporting his staff and making sure that all the needs are met and the customers happy.My expectations walking in we're low. I was wrong. I didn't think I would be back after the first visit. I'm already planning my next one. The item on the menu are a little bit more expensive but absolutely worth it.I would not be shocked to see this restaurant being featured on traveling social media content creators and food network TV shows. Great job! Can't wait to try more of the menu.”

My server Sarah (apologies if not spelled correctly) was absolutely amazing - gave me a free lil palette cleanser of the passion fruit sorbet (freaking amazing). You go in expecting to pay a good bill, but honestly it was SUPER reasonable for the amount of food I got, the service, food quality, and the environment.I felt super comfortable eating alone here, too, so bonus points for that.Also - the food is incredible. My taste buds were so jazzed about it. If I could recreate the sauce that came with the veal short rib, I'd put it on everything haha.Anyway, kudos to the chef, and kudos to my amazing waitress Sarah. “I came here for the lobster crab shrimp BLT and I thought I found the love of my life but not this time. I wish the filling of the seafood portion had more texture with pieces of meat. It puts me in mind of tuna salad. It’s a cold sandwich but the filling was ice cold. The French fries could use improvement as well. Overall the food wasn’t nasty but I wouldn’t order or recommend it. Over priced as well for what’s given. The restaurant is beautiful and I will definitely come back to try another dish. I sat at the bar and the young lady who took my order was very pleasant which is why I ate in.”

“Golden Hands Bakery is filled with masterpieces of deliciousness. Ron and I stopped in today for an Opening Day Donut for a home run review! My Apple fritter was crispy on the outside and moist and power packed with cinnamon and apples on the inside. Ron’s sticky bun was sticky and Carmel coated with pecans and cinnamon. Beyond amazing morning experience ?”

But Boosalis proved me wrong in the best way!Their chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) is the real deal. Seriously, it gives the famous spots in Paris a run for their money. And don't even get me started on their plain croissant—it's a close second to my favorite in Paris, Ble Sucre.Now, I can get my croissant fix without the long flight. “Best pizza in Cincinnati.We ordered margherita and hawaiian pizzas, and they were both perfect. Il Gusto pizza is ultra thin and crispy with high quality ingredients. The margherita especially was fantastic, and even my young children loved it.The greek salad was fresh with a house made dressing. We wished there were whole kalamata olives, but it was still delicious.”

There were 11 of us in our party and most of us had never been to C&J before (we live in Hyde Park and typically frequent the Precinct and Ruby’s locations). We loved our first experience at C&J. “We celebrated our Mom's 81st birthday and could not have been more pleased. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. The service was top notch. Our food was delicious, every single item, including the scallops, the salmon (my favorite), of course the steaks (tender and juicy), and all the sides (especially the Brussel sprouts). And then there was dessert!! Carrot cake and butter pie were the top favorites of our group.We appreciated the attention to detail and our experience was excellent!!”

“Pretty good food. Fennel spice used in lasagna, which is a personal taste, and lasagna is fairly spicy. Pork dish is mostly dry and tough with mashed potatoes being slightly above average. Bread is fresh and very tasty with hints of yeast. Overall, our party preferred Carrabba's.”
