I gave food a 4 star rating because I would have preferred my biscuits (biscuits and gravy) to be cooked a bit more to be less "bready", and my hash Browns to be crisper. That is MY personal preference and you may be fine the way they were cooked!“
“We stopped in on a Sunday evening after 8:30 pm. We passed several restaurants that were already closed so we were hoping Champs was open. We were relieved as we approached and saw a couple dozen cars in the parking lot. We've always ordered pizza and we love their pizza, but tonight we were in the mood for something different.We ordered the Fish & Chips and the Asian pecan salad. We split both meals and had plenty of food. Service was really fast and friendly. We were very impressed with the Fish & Chips, it was hot, perfect amount of batter and very crispy. The fries were also crispy, just the way I like them. We were very impressed with the Asian pecan salad, huge portion with the perfect amount of toppings, very tasty. We now have a reason to go to Champs when we're in the mood for something other than their fabulous pizza.“

“I wasn’t sure what to expect. A friend of mine was playing guitar there tonight named Bob Muller. I went there to support his performance which lived up to our expectations. We were genuinely surprised by what a great little place the beach house is. It has a great atmosphere friendly and surprisingly excellent burgers. To our surprise it was burger night. You can’t beat a half pound burger and fries for $8.50 on Thursdays. the beer was cold the staff was friendly, I’m not sure how much better it gets than that for a local bar! If you’re out in the Buckeye Lake area, it’s definitely worth a try. We will be back soon!“
“The food was great. I loved the deviled eggs, the winery burger was good, a little over cooked but I liked the jam and the sauce that was on it.The service wasn’t that great. Similar to other reviews, the host told us she couldn’t seat our group outside but we ended up fitting just fine. Once outside, It took a while to even be greeted. We got our food before our drinks and struggled to get refills. I know a lot of this could be situational but still was bumped about the service.“

“Pretzel bites seemed a bit bland. Deep fried pepperoni could've cooked a bit longer, was not very crunchy. Bologna sandwich was fantastic with the caramelized onions, tomatoe, lettuce, cheese and mayo. White Cheddar Mac'N'Cheese very flavorful and hot to the last bite. Pizza sub was not horrible, but also seemed bland. Fries were good. First time here, overall a great experience, will be back to test the vast menu!“

The starter we ordered was "Potato Kegs" or something. “I walked in and noticed the full bar. So, I decided to settle down and take a seat at a four-top. I was acknowledged by a server who asked if what I would like to drink. After giving he a beer order, she came back a few minutes later with a draft beer on a 24oz glass. The place was busy, so I distracted myself with other things while waiting for the server. About five minutes after, she came up and asked for my order (Crossroads Burger, single, with fresh cut fries). While waiting for my burger she checked for a refill. It was evident there is a strong local atmosphere here, with people greeting each other with hugs. There are a decent number of groups here with families and kids, so that gives me the impression this is a friendly place. I was brought my second beer about eight minutes after placing my order, and also not either the owner or a manager walking around picking up some stray napkins on the floor. After about 20 minutes my order came to the table. I figured if they were going to put their name on a burger, it should be good. It did not disappoint: the burger was smashed, well-reasoned, and juicy (medium), the jalapenos and pepper jack brought the right amount of heat, and the brioche bun was a good base to build on. I had pretty much finished my burger before the server checked in with me about ten minutes later. She was busy and I no complaints, so it's all good.The bar had completely cleared out about thirty minutes from my arrival, but my server asked if I'd like another beer, which I sure did, and I'm going to leave my review at that. Crossroads seems to be a good local place to grab a burger and a beer, and is community-based enough to make it family friendly.I'm going to relax with another beer and suggest you come here to do the same.Parking: Parking was available at the establishment and at tht gravel lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for the little kids, and there seems to be quite a number of families here with their little ones.“
