“What a great experience! Deseo was easily able to accommodate our party of 12. Our server was awesome and she was attentive to our big group. The food was amazing and came out promptly for such a large group. The drinks were delicious and I would highly recommend the Pina margarita. Our favorite, hands down, were their appetizers and the Tartara de Atun stole the show!Thank you for making our Birthday dinner such a success!“
“El Tipico is a five star experience, definitely not average and exceedingly exceeds expectations. The ambience made me feel like I was in Mexico, the server was attentive, the food was served timely, fresh, hot and tastey. As an out-of-towner from Columbus visiting Toledo, I definitely will be visiting this restaurant again.“
“Food was delicious. Is a little pricier but worth it. Service was great as well. Ordered online, drove 3 mins, and was ready by the time I arrived. Portions could be a little more, but, all in all, good experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
“This place seems like a small family run business and these people are absolutely killing it. My favorite thing is carne asada street tacos(I've reviewed like every street taco I've seen from Miami to Detroit) and these are definitely top 10 if not top 3. The whole taco is great but what really sets them apart is they give u lemons instead of limes. That really just changes it up and actually makes me CHOOSE to go out of my way and go here instead of San Marcos right by my house. Oh, yeah, today I forgot to order birria to dip in, definitely try their birria consume, it's 1000x worth it.“
“Their quesabirria was to die for. So flavorful and delicious! One of the best I’ve had in recent memory. The exterior is pretty sketch, but the food is definitely worth trying. Ordered take out so I cannot speak for the service or atmosphere for dine in.“
“This is peak Mexican food for me. The food is amazing. Every other Mexican restaurant I try around the TOL just makes me want San Marcos. The waiters and waitresses are always great. Atmosphere feels authentic. I recommend this place to anyone when they're looking for Mexican food.“
“Went with a large group between 50-60 people. The staff did an amazing job with the entire dinner service! From drinks, food orders, food delivery to the right parties within the group and the checks! Will definitely go back!! I got a Pína Colada drink with the Chori-Pollo & my husband ordered Steak Fundido. Everything we ordered was really delicious ?!Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian combos that include 5 options, a salad selection on top of the traditional vegetarian options offered at a Mexican restaurant.Parking: They have a parking lot right next to their building.Kid-friendliness: They have 7 total options under their kid menu, 3 Mexican and 4 American dishes.“
“The food is so good and authentic too! The prices are amazing, and the meat is always tender and seasoned! They should be putting Taco Bell ? out of business! I never will understand why people pick Taco Bell? when there are authentic Mexican restaurants on the same street! ??“
“We stopped in after viewing the solar eclipse! It was busy but the service was fantastic! The food was delicious, I learned they hand shred their cheese, which is why it was so amazing ? will definitely stop back in when we come back for the next solar eclipse.“
“I rate everything a 5/5 from the food, the customer service, and the atmosphere. I got the Birra tacos and they were sooooo good... some of the best Birra tacos I ever had. I also got regular mango margarita.. it was so strong I couldn't finish it all lol. I came alone just to get out of the house for a minute, it was my first time there...my waiter was patient with me & kept coming by to check on me and a few other employees did too. I appreciated that... the music they played was a vibe too... this might be my new favorite place. ❤️“
“QUESABIRRIA TACOSThree slow cooked brisket tacos with melted cheese, cilantro, and onion. Served with rice, birria beef broth, and a creamy jalapeno avocado salsa washed down with Coconut Jungle Mojito. The food was quite tasty, delicious and reasonably priced. The service and ambience are on point. If you love Mexican food you'll love Poco Loco ????“
“Service was slow but worth the wait. Food was excellent; reminds me of the great Mexican food we had in SoCal. Nothing is over-salted, so you can really taste the meat, cheese and herbs. The rice tasted fresh, the beans were creamy and topped with melted cheese. A great place to satisfy that craving for Mexican food.“
“This has always been one of my favorite local places, but I'm very disappointed that they've started charging for refills on chips and salsa.Update: My previous comments no longer apply. I believe management has changed. Still great food and great margaritas. My favorite Mexican restaurant in this are.“
“Bright. Colorful. Delicious. What's not to love? This has become our favorite sit down Mexican restaurant in Toledo. The interior while small in area, is decorated brightly and really sets a fun mood to dine here. Their sister El Arena next door has the same fun atmosphere. The food is delicious and comes out quick. I'm usually not a fan of shredded meats in my Mexican food (carnitas/barbacoa) but whatever they're doing here is amazing and I'll get the carnitas special whenever it's up.“
“A very good place, I arrived and they gave me the menu and I wanted something special, but it wasn't very much on their menus and the staff was very friendly, they told me they would prepare it for me and the food is always very delicious ? “
“Very very good food good people sometimes you have to wait a little while to get your food but hey it's worth the wait not sure of the prices anymore but the prices do stay the same usually they did go up a little last time I knew but it was not much at all but the food is really great I mean great and drinks that they have are amazing“
“I got my food within 5-8 minutes of ordering, Fastest ever, Clean friendly restaurant. Everybody in our party enjoyed their food. The Guacamole was so fresh! I got some to go. I had a chicken chimichanga that was great tasting, I think it had queso in it. I will go back and take a friend (my Wife). It was a very groovy place.“
“Food is so good here! Some of the best food truck food I've very ate. The place may look a little dingy but don't let that fool you, the street tacos are to die for. I am a big fan of the barbacoa and I have been told the chorizo is out of this world. The prices are fantastic, it's hard to find good food now a day and a good deal is even harder to find. Do yourself a favor and try this taco truck next time you drive by. A single street taco and you'll be hooked. 2 thumbs way up“
“Immediately upon entering, a server was present to get me seated with almost zero wait time for my drink to arrive.Management came out and greeted me and asked me if I've been here before and engaged in a little small talk while I waited. The food came out within minutes of my order, granted business was light during lunch today. For the most part when experiencing Mexican dishes, I am partial to the flavor of my family and my kitchen but, I do not compare the plates. I grade them specifically on their presentation and on their flavor.I tried the enchilada with ground beef, the corn taco with cilantro onion and bistek, corn taco with cilantro, onion and barbacoa, enchilada with ground beef, tostada with bean and ground beef, and a side of beans, refried and rice. The presentation on every dish was delectable and the flavor was full and worthy of repeatable purchase.I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who asked. The food is delicious, the service is great, the atmosphere is clean, comfortable and well decorated to enhance the experience. This restaurant gets all five stars!“
“Fantastic, authentic, Mexican food. The prices are reasonable, flavors are outstanding, and the people working there are super friendly. Been many times when they were on Woodville Road. Then, one day, it vanished. I was gutted. Then, while driving down Broadway, I saw their sign ( just past Western Ave.). I immediately turned around and went in. Sure enough, they moved. Same people, same food, in a larger building. My family loves it here. This is our go-to Mexican place. This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food. If you're expecting Taco Bell type fare, it will not be what you're expecting. But it is far better. If you haven't been, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. The menu is in Spanish and English. Highly recommend the Tortas, barbacoa, and tamales. (If they have any, they sell out regularly.)Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is great. And the servers are always friendly with the kids, teaching them Spanish and joking with them.“
“Food be on point especially galena location every timeVegetarian options: Mainly I get me two to three vegan tacos ? rice beans sour cream cheese veggies no onions or cilantro salsa on the side with a side of rice and beans ?. Or a burrito the same way.“
“Solid Taco Truck (trailer). Ordered the Special (steak & chorizo) and two tamales. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Service was quick and they were friendly.Only thing I could say is I wish they had a social media presence so I could know when they are there and hours.“
“We visit Mi Hacienda once a week for their lunch buffet ( even on Sundays). The food is always fresh and very tasty from the steak to the queso to the guac. The service is always friendly and attentive but not annoying. Their chips and salsa are the best I have had in this area. It is worth th drive to the one on Glanzman Road in Toledo!!!“
“Better than your standard tex mex, friendly attentive server, and yummy margaritas. Mole chicken was quite good and the salsa was rockin. No Public bathroom, but you can go down the hallway and go up the second floor for bathrooms. Kitchen was a bit slow, but server made up for that with bribing us with their awesome chips and salsa / checking on us.4.2/5Vegetarian options: Have a vegetarian section“
“The Lucky Dog Cafe is right off the bike trail ! You order inside and then find a seat inside or outside. There was complimentary water for humans and complimentary water outside for dogs. The peanut Thai wrap was very good and the jumbo burrito was good and indeed jumbo ! The restaurant was trendy and clean . The service was good as well! There are a few more menu items I would like to try next time we are in town.“
“The staff was very welcoming. The steak tacos were good but not great, very basic. I also got a new item, "Mexican corn on the cob," and it was interesting. It did not have cheese on it, which is supposed to be part of the corn, but the corn itself was sweet and flavorful. The margaritas were amazing! I will definitely be returning for the drinks!! Staff and drinks make it an over all 7/10. I would recommend you try it for yourself!“
“The food is awesome. The same excellent taste each and every time I am their. The mexican pizza with steak n chicken (excellent) slap yo mama good! Fajita tower, excellent. Great street tacos! It is my go to 4ever! Luv unc in the kitchen and jess is the best!“
“Really great place to go and eat at a cheap price with great quality of food.Bartender and server (Bri) is awesome, to say the least. She makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.Great place to go with your family and friends..Kid-friendliness: Kid can have a good time.“
“Food is really good. Not a very big venue for the crowd size, so there was a bit of a wait to be seated, but again, food was very good and service was very good. I recommend the Burro Grande. A very large and loaded burrito that is very filling. Prices are reasonable as well.“
“This place we decided to try based on reviews and wanting New Mexican and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor. Shrimp tacos and street tacos were great! Homemade salsa and chips as well! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and helpful. Recommend 10/10, we will definitely be back!“
