Restaurantji's guide to Maumee's top Mexican dining experiences.
“Amazingly fast service. Food was exceptionally well prepared, was hot, and certainly tasty. The margaritas were around half price between 3 and 6:00 so it certainly recommend you go then. We were treated like customers who were really valued. You don't always find that today. It has been a while since we've been there so it was great to go back and feel welcomed and appreciated.Parking: Ample parking.“
“After moving to Maumee in 2013, I tried several Mexican restaurants in the area. El Salto was the best of those I tried. I am a vegetarian and love that I can choose from several vegetarian meals when I visit El Salto. Also, each person in the restaurant has been pleasant, courteous, and helpful, and the food is quite good.“

“This place we decided to try based on reviews and wanting New Mexican and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavor. Shrimp tacos and street tacos were great! Homemade salsa and chips as well! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and helpful. Recommend 10/10, we will definitely be back!“
“What a great experience! Deseo was easily able to accommodate our party of 12. Our server was awesome and she was attentive to our big group. The food was amazing and came out promptly for such a large group. The drinks were delicious and I would highly recommend the Pina margarita. Our favorite, hands down, were their appetizers and the Tartara de Atun stole the show!Thank you for making our Birthday dinner such a success!“

“Food was delicious. Is a little pricier but worth it. Service was great as well. Ordered online, drove 3 mins, and was ready by the time I arrived. Portions could be a little more, but, all in all, good experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
“We LOVE El Vaquero, especially the Perrysburg location. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Food is served fresh and quickly. El Vaquero is our go to Mexican restaurant in the greater Toledo area. We have dined at El Vaquero on regular basis for 10 years! Naturally we have our favorites but also venture into trying new items from time to time, regardless of what we choose we always leave full and happy! If you haven’t stopped in yet we highly recommend you check it out!“
“It was my first time here. I went with friends who said I had to try. We ordered the seafood queso, (honey, next time I'm ordering a large and eating it alone with chips as my meal ??YUM!!!) Steak tacos, beef and chicken enchilads, chicken quesadilla and #16 on the lunch menu. I had the blueberry margarita, while my friends ordered a lime margarona, it's a margarita with a corona beer on top. Hers was served with a rubber duckie ?. Cute little touch. You can get a variety of 6 different frozen or on the rocks margaritas. I found the blueberry margarita to be bland but strong. I won't order it again. I'll get sangria next time. I prefer it. Friendky service. When we ordered we ordered our queso then out meals. The food all came out within 5 minutes of each other. Next time we will ask to have 20 minutes between our appetizer. We sat longer since they weren't busy so we could visit and enjoy our company. They didn't seem to mind. We left around 4pm. Overall was a great meal, okay drinks and great atmosphere! I'm already ready to order something new next trip! Parking: Handicapped parking close to the door with close seatingKid-friendliness: Plenty of booth seatingWheelchair accessibility: There is booth and table seating allowing room for wheelchairs“
