“I loved the beer selection and the menu options. The food was great. The atmosphere is what you expect at a pub-style restaurant while the food is what you expect at a medium-high-level restaurant.However… the service from the bar staff where I sat was mediocre. I waited entirely too long between drinks and for cashing out. To the point that they ended up coming to my beers. The kitchen brought out the wrong food. I ordered the Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna and they initially brought an appetizer instead. In the end, I waited entirely too long for the food the beer, and the check. Part of this may only apply to the bar that is enormous and slightly understaffed or mismanaged.I also at one point tried to get the attention of a kitchen staff that came to the bar for something. He ignored me twice when I asked, “Excuse me sir can I have my check?”Albeit, the food was genuinely delicious and well cooked. The beer selection is top-notch. And delicious also.“

“This place has been around since i was a child and im in my 60s its always had soft serve custard. People shouldnt expect nothing more. The flavors they come up with are ok for some.but the banana,blk raspberry,choc almond, and a few other flavors they are known for and they are yummy........ so if you know about stricklands than you know wht to expect... clean very friendly great custard and cool airplanes coming and going ...enjoy your summer“

“Our family loves going here so much, our kid just calls it the Ice Cream place. I like trying new ice creams each time we go and my wife generally does the four scoop sampler and alternates between the same 6 flavors. Our son loves the strawberry sorbet, pistachio ice cream and any of the birthday cake ones.“

“The beer is always great. The Cuban sandwich was incredible… except… if I may be so bold… the yellow mustard is traditional, but the option of spice, honey mustard, any other would have made it the best sandwich in the tri-county area. Thank you!“

“Great lunch spot!!!! Absolutely delicious. I got their Mediterranean salad and added cucumber. And then their house chips and dip. OMG. SO DELICIOUS!!! Salad was fresh. The dressing was homemade. “Missing falls is one of our absolute favorote Akron breweries! Good beer selection, (multiple sizes and flight options), great food, and a wonderful staff. We enjoy the vibe of the place, the shelf full of games, and that it’s family friendly. We frequent often while on bike rides. Bonus points for ample indoor bike parking.“

“There are a handful of these drive ins and trust me you will never be disappointed. Lightning fast car side service and the best burgers and fries around. Not sure if it's the sweet meat or homemade buns but there is nothing like it. If your in the mood for a milkshake try the banana strawberry it's my favorite.“

“Incredibly good ice cream! Service was good too. I do wish there was more room to wait for your order and maybe a warmer option too. It was pretty cold outside when we went and they were still really busy making the sidewalk crowded. It was a little difficult to know who's next to place an order & who's waiting for their order then trying to get back to the window to pick up your order.“

“We got a fish sandwich and oh my gosh. The fish was two huge pieces on a hoagie bun with lettuce and tomato, plus French fries. I took the fish off the bun as well as the lettuce and tomato because I knew I'd never be able to eat it all if it was on the bun. I barely got the two pieces of fish down anyway. “When they first opened I wasn't impressed, but I was just in there today 3/16/24 and the service and food was top notch. I had the breakfast sandwich and fruit cup, and although it was a relatively easy breakfast it was absolutely divine. The bacon was cooked perfectly not too crispy but not soggy. They even upgraded my small to go coffee to a large at no extra cost. I can't wait to go back and try other things.The changes made from my first experience, to todays is what I strive for as a small business owner myself.“

Their food is literally one of my favorite things about Ohio and more specifically NE Ohio thanks to a large grouping of them. I moved out of state for a few years and I missed the retro vibes the drive in has and the wonderful service I always experienced. I recommend Swensons to literally anyone I can, I've been going since I was a kid.“
