“03/27/2024 - First time revisiting Thurman’s, from what I can recall in over a decade. The first time I visited was when I graduated from CSCC in 2011. The place is small, but the food is savory and sometimes can be humongously impactful. Comfortable seating. Long bar with top shelf liquor and drafts. The decor is a time capsule Ohio memories and memorabilia. I ordered their Thurman Burger which was hearty, meaty, and savory. I excluded a few ingredients. I added fries and a soft drink. Here you will find the tastiest burgers in the city. The draft beers are quality, the bartenders are great with a mixed drink. The original art on the wall is for sale and changes monthly, but everything else stays the same. The reason to go to the Mohawk is the atmosphere and the service. You will recognize the regulars after a while, and everyone in the restaurant will get to know you. “The pizza was good. We split a mushroom one. If you are really hungry you could probably eat a whole pie yourself. We split a small salad and one pie and we were good. Service was great and food came out pretty quick. It was a bit loud and holding a conversation was cumbersome. Beer selection is good. Several local brews on tap or in can. No mints on the way out… booParking: We got lucky and grabbed the only available spot in the parking lot next to the restaurant. I imagine there is more parking near by and we were there at the busiest time for dinner.“

“The Rail was one of my favorite burger restaurants, but they fell flat on their face with their changes to the fries. They eliminated the skinny and steak fry options and went to one size fat fry that is terribly undercooked, limp and tasteless. Not sure anyone that made the decision tasted the fries…. I would avoid them as a side and it certainly impacts my decision to go there in the future.“

It was sweet and spicy. The beans were great, the portions were large. My son got the Helluva Hangover burger and it hit the spot. My wife ordered a Mish mash of apps and sides, all great! “My daughter wanted Stromboli instead of pizza for a change, and we found this place online. We were very happy with everything we ordered- Stromboli, lasagna, meatball sub, potato skins, and cheesy garlic bread. Everything tasted great! It was ready for pick up on time, even though they seemed to be short staffed they were making a huge effort to get everyone's food orders out at the time they promised. They work really hard for their customers and it shows.The only suggestion I would make is to maybe pare down the menu a bit. There are a LOT of choices and I think it would benefit them to focus on a theme, like just Italian American food while keeping the Halal versions also available for those who follow that diet (it's awesome that customers have this option. I don't think there are many around Columbus). For instance, the hamburgers stood out on the menu since they dont really fit in with a pizza place. Also, all the different types of pizza and Stromboli and such gets a little repetative. Slimming down the menu could keep both the customers and the staff from getting overwhelmed by too many items.Now that we know Luna is a short drive away, we will be definitely adding it to our restaurant list. “Place was absolutely slammed with post church crowds when we went, but thanks to excellent management and really hard working employees everything from ordering to receiving food was extremely quick and easy. The manager took our order, and was super gracious about a gluten free dietary need in our party. He was very proud to let us know they were one of the only fast food chains to offer a gluten free burger, with a safely packaged gluten free bun and a burger prepared on a clean grill. He also bragged about how great his staff (mostly teenagers) are, which to me is just another sign of a well run establishment. Would absolutely recommend this Culver's to anyone.“

“I had the hot chicken sandwich. It was juicy, delicious and messy. Ever so perfect. Prices were good for a family of 4. The staff was very polite and efficient. My wife had the B.E.L.T. sandwich, which I had some of. It was also tasty. If I lived closer, I would eat here again. When I thanked the server for the check, I was looking at my wife and accidentally said "thank you, I love you" to the server. My wife won't stop laughing at me for that. She called her mom to make fun of me for it. I don't know if the server heard me. If she did, she was polite about my gaffe.“

The chimichurri sauce neutralized the oil and improved the burger taste.
