“This is on our regular rotation. But it seemed to be extra good this time. I had the barbecue chopped salad and my wife had the fish sandwich. We also had a bowl of clam chowder. Frankly, the last couple of experiences at Cap City have been subpar for one reason or another, but this one at Rusty was really good. Also two red sangrias that were tasty. Server did a really nice job too. The folks at Cap could learn from him. ;)“
“I’m giving a somewhat good review because of Thomas the manager along with good food. I don’t want 1 waiters mistake to ruin the restaurant. We arrived about 8:20 and the food was great! Service was mediocre but acceptable. After we ate and watched the end of a Buckeye basketball game, paid our tab and tipped well and we’re finishing our conversation along with our beverages, our server came to us at 9:36 interrupted and informed us the establishment closed at 9:00 and they had been more then accommodating to us and we needed to leave.I’ve been in a few places in my time and always try to be respectful of the peoples time but this was out of line especially the short time we had been there and there were still people at the bar.Thomas did a great job handling my complaint and I will go back and hopefully have a server that’s more professional.“
“Pulling up to this place really made me feel like I found something special. Everything was enjoyable. All the food we tried needed a little salt. A tiny pinch of flaked finishing salt would really be that final step into flavor town. The patio is enchanting and the people are very kind. They also have great “
“We stopped in after a movie for a late dinner. Our server was Lauren who was excellent. She answered all of our questions about the menu with a smile! We enjoyed a wonderful Rueben Sandwich and the 3 sausage appetizer (had it for dinner) and a bowl of french onion soup. Everything was delicious and well made. A good portion for the price too! After we finished dinner we moved to the bar where Conner made us german cake martini and a large pilsner served in a boot! He sure knew a lot about the history of the restaurant and the area! e split a piece of the tres lechs that we were told was homemade. We truly can't wait to come back to Columbus to dine here again. Thanks for the wonderful service and the scrumptious food!!“
“Not able to make it to Deutschland? Don't sweat it, Valter's is the stateside equivalent. The tentative staff will make you feel like you were in a restaurant right in the heart of Berlin. Valter himself came to the table and made sure the food and beer were perfect. Great staff, beer and food!“
“Great new Pub to us! We enjoyed our condo neighborhood dinner here tonight. Great time for 16 at our table and we were served well. British ?? flare is very nice. Very impressed with clean and modern restroom for women’s. Thank you! We’ll be back.“
“Fun atmosphere and super helpful, nice staff! The only down side is if you want to park close you need to pay, but they do validate your ticket for 3 hours so its only really a down side if you stay longer than that! Had great beer options and Chipotle is right next door incase you get hungry!“
“What a great experience! In a time that we lazily choose a chain eatery, it’s high time to reflect on what gave us our chains ⛓️Old-school eatery with wood and fixtures older than myself feels like home to me. Add a friendly family and capable staff and some cool trivia and you get a singular experience that was all to common just a couple of decades ago. We had bangers and mash, shepherds pie ?, and ribs. All were outstanding and despite their ample and intimidating proportions nary a take-away box was needed. Hail Columbus, Hail Eire ?? and many thanks!“
“Atmosphere is very laid back. I came here looking for Blackbird Kitchen, thinking it was a restaurant, and was surprised to find that it’s the name of the food sold in the bar. So Blackbird Kitchen is not its own separate restaurant. You order food at the bar and they bring it to your table. Service was quick and the food was good overall. Parking was a bit confusing. Do not park in the parking lot before 6:30pm! You will need to find street parking, which was not hard. Outdoor seating area. They have live bands.Parking: Don’t park in the parking lot before 6:30pm. Free street parking down the side streets.“
“Plain and simple, it's a real nice and friendly sports bar with lots of really good food and many beers.Eat in or carry out. Lots of TV 's & No kids! The staff seems to love working there.Kind of loud, but what do you expect... It's a sports bar.Using Google Map takes you the long way and gets you lost in the rear of a mall, but don't feak because you're there (only yards away, next to a bubble tea bakery. We ordered and ate a lot (all was good).Parking: Park in the mall once you find the place.“
“It's one of my favorite beer bars that holds over 50 different beers from all over. They don't have food but do have a partnership with the pizza shop across the street and occasionally will have food trucks. The beertenders are top tier and gives you Cheers (where everybody knows your name) vibes when you enter the door!“
“This place is now part of every visit to Columbus. Live music is on point and the pool table and pinball adds to the fun. Plenty of local beers available as wellWheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, the restrooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator“
“Shepherds pie and Irish Kettle entrees were excellent ! Wait was quoted at 35 minutes but was nowhere near that long- only drank about a fourth of my beverage before a table opened up. Food came out quickly and was really good. Will definitely be back!“
“*AWESOME gourmet pizza! This pizza is SO good I was planning my next visit before I was done eating!.. I tried their Pizza Challenge and finished in 8min got a free meal and a sweet T-shirt. Great staff and management. I was visiting from out of town but am definitely looking forward to returning!.. I got all veggies on my pizza but included a picture of their toppings. They also have excellent drink specials, tons of TVs and high ceilings...“
“Wow! Food is amazing! Irish spring rolls a must! Also soup taste home made and burgers so good and nachos! That is just the food! The best burbon whisky and scotch selection hands down! Servive is even better than the amazing food and drinks! Can't say enough good things!“
“Shout out to this spot for real - love a great dive/local bar.. and what's crazy is a grew up in this town and NEVER heard of it until recently moving back into the state . Service was awesome, the folks mad friendly and good beer selection, that's all I need.“
“Friendly bartenders \\u0026 good customer service. A great place to bring a dog or little ones because of the fenced in area. Outside is a beautiful place to wind down at the end of a day. Only con is maybe they could use an extra bathroom, especially when busy.“
“South High School held their annual picnic there, after a two year hiatus. It was held outside, as it has been in previous years. There were 3 food trucks, a pay bar, a shelter house, a huge tent farther out in the lawn area & a stage where a DJ played songs from the 60's & 70's. PLENTY of outdoor beautiful space to reunite with former classmates. If you have a large event you want held outside, inquire for prices & accommodations.“
“This is a neighborhood bar. The drinks are inexpensive and the food was good. I got a cheeseburger with fries. Both were hot and tasty. This is obviously not fine dining but for bar food it was really good. Live music by Wednesday Wine when we came to enjoy the advertised entertainment. Of course, the music was loud as it is a bar. The service was good even though it was really crowded. We will be back!“
“Okay, I honestly love this bar. I went for the first time to visit a friend for his birthday. This is his regular bar and it was honestly like Cheers or something. The bartender knew them all and was just the sweetest guy. (He also was an older straight man, as far as I know, but was totally comfortable flirting back and forth with my male friend all night. It was really just . . . comforting.) They have a patio that's pretty large and open air. Yes, there will be people outside smoking, but it's not enclosed so you may be able to sit further away from people and not be too bothered. The inside seemed to have plenty of seating. Were there pool tables? I can't honestly remember. I was drinking. The drinks! They had a lot of liquor varieties. I don't know what their beer menu looked like, but I was able to have a few rounds of a mid-level reposado tequila (not Cuervo) and buy my friend a drink for about $20. I was floooooored and left a good tip. The bartender also had come out several times to bring us drinks on the patio (!) and empty everyone's ashtrays. He had a good rapport with many of the customers, I could tell. It's a dive bar in the best way--where the drinks are cheap but good, the atmosphere is chill, and everyone will eventually know your name.“
“Came in for a birthday drink, the whole entire bar sang me happy birthday, the owners came out and got me a drink. I felt like I was at home. Great music, from live music to your noice with TouchTunes. Hands down, I love bars like this.... Not too crazy packed, but not dead inside. I will defiantly be coming back!!!!“
“A great, friendly place where the owners charge reasonable prices for the drinks and the pours are generous. All of the bar personnel have been exceptional in the two years I have been going. Slightly off the beaten path but still easy to find.“
“A very friendly and non racial atmosphere. The prices are good no hidden charges. You pay for what you buy.Very highly recommended to relax and make friends.Parking: The location is excellent. Located by Dublin - Granville Road in Columbus. They have very large frey parking spaces.“
“1/2/24... Back for lunch today absolutely delicious food and great service!!9/8/22.... Here for lunch I got the special for today beef stroganoff and a roll yum!! My husband got a deluxe cheeseburger, chips and a pickle. Absolutely delicious ?? Jill did a great job!! Thank you Marty your daily specials are the bomb!! Thanks O'REILLY'S PUB for a awesome lunch!!Wow what a great place for food, drinks, relaxation & excellent service. The staff are really friendly, fun, prompt & happy! Check them out if you haven't, it'll be worth your while... We'll be back for sure!!“
“I wish I could give our server more stars!!! She went above and beyond. My kiddo got his head banged by a truck hood and she saved the day with some advil. The food was great. The large house salad is huge. The scratch made blue cheese is excellent, as was the tenders and fries. The vibe is loud and bustling, but the booths helped filter the noise. The location is excellent and just across the street from the convention center.Vegetarian options: Definitely veggie friendlyDietary restrictions: Lots of different optionsParking: Parking in that area can be tight and costly.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu availableWheelchair accessibility: Could be a little tight when they are packed.“
“An awesome pub! A lot of people were here for lunch and there were only two servers during lunch time, but they were efficient and friendly. The food was served fast and tasted juicy and fresh. They also had daily specials. I was here for the taco deal on Wednesday. The taco tasted fresh and juicy with amazing coney sauce.Vegetarian options: Salads“
“Best Dallas Cowboys bar in town! Love it! I have only been going here for a few weeks and it's now my favorite part of the week. Kelly, Nevin, and Danielle are awesome! Nevin needs to take over Tuesday late nights... just saying. Young girl had no jeopardy, overcharged me,and we were very sad. Place is still the best though. Great regulars as well... even those Eagles fans.“
“If you're looking for a bar with that old school bar feel...not pretentious, but with an upscale menue with reasonable prices...this is your place. Worth checking out. I think you'll agree.Parking: Located right on High St. Short north. Parking can be a challenge.“
“We came here for pizza for the first time the other night, as we heard it was good from others. We ordered one of the gourmet pizzas which came with just about everything on it, and it was absolutely delicious. Has an almost well done cook which we really appreciate. The ingredients were quality and plentiful. The crust is a thin crust crispy and delicious will return again.“
“LOVE this place! The service is awesome (they'll actually remember your face and order tendencies!), The food is exceptional and fresh, the atmosphere is relaxed, warm and inviting, and the prices are great to boot.My dad and I constantly go in there to grab lunch on the weekdays. We always split the Mediterranean platter (with an extra order of warm pita bread!) and Dad grabs a beer. They have a great selection of beers!“
“I was pleasantly surprised by Meister's. I recall reading other Yelp reviews from a few years ago that mentioned rude service. If that's still the case, I didn't experience it or see it with other patrons. I went during an Ohio State men's basketball B1G tournament game, and the sound was on which was appreciated. I also saw that they were a Browns backer bar, so it seems like they have local sports fans covered. Their six draft beers were priced well, but the main event for me was the deep dish pizza. I'm no stranger to this Chicago classic, and I (again) was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The bottom crust was a little thinner than you might find at some places, but to me this was an advantage. My one critique is that the Meat Lovers pizza seemed light on the meat, but there was ample sauce and cheese to satisfy. There were also daily drink specials, a pool table and dart boards, the latter located in a semi-private area with its own TV. I'd go back, and I'd even try their regular crust pizza which looked tasty from afar.“
“I don't frequent bars, but I finished up work nearby and was looking for a place to sit down and eat. I rolled the dice and walked into Mulligan's. I got the Bar Burger. It didn't have a proper bun--it was a half a sub-roll, but it was toasted and still quite good. The burger had a good flavor (I think it might have been part sausage, or the bacon just really shown through) but was thinner than I preferred, yet still a quarter pound of meat or so. Got to meet Scott, the owner. He was outgoing and energetic; seems motivated to make it a good place to hang out. There's also a cat who comes and goes as he pleases, which for me, adds to the place's charm.“
“This is a real dive bar, not one of those fake hipset dives like you find in the Short North with 8 dollar beers, and bartenders who are more interested in their snaps than their customers. cheap drinks and good people. You might think it's a redneck bar, but it's one of the most inclusive bars you will find outside of 270. People who hate this place probably got checked for being obnoxious.“
“Rusty Bucket is our go to restaurant. I appreciate that they have reservations when so many other places do not. The atmosphere is fun, the menu has a good variety, and they have good kids meal with a bookmark deal. My daughter's school just completed a read a thon so she was able to easily redeem her free kids meal this time. I always get a brown bag beer and it's fun to see what is inside; even the servers like to find out with me. We never have to wait too long for our food and the servers have been consistently good. The food is good and there is something for everyone. Oh, and I recommend getting the fried pickles but sliced not speared which they will do if you ask.“
“I live on the property the restaurant is on. The food seems decent. I've ordered about 3-4 times. So I will say this great fries and great sauces. I never tried the pizza but it does smell amazing. Usually stick with the wings and fries. Wasn't fond of the fact that they will charge you for ranch, sauces etc or maybe it was just me that got charged for sauce ?“
“It's a small neighborhood bar. I have been here a handful of times in as many years, but it's always nice. The place is reasonably clean, the beer was super-cold (like noticeably colder than I'm accustomed to getting anywhere) and the service was good. To top it off, somebody was doing a bang-up job with their touchtunes playlist.“
“The staff was awesome, the food was very good. We had the Memories Onion Soup and the Memory Burger, Wings, and steak sandwich. The only issue we had was that the onion soup was awfully salty, but everything else was great! We'll be going “
“I had the hot chicken sandwich. It was juicy, delicious and messy. Ever so perfect. Prices were good for a family of 4. The staff was very polite and efficient. My wife had the B.E.L.T. sandwich, which I had some of. It was also tasty. If I lived closer, I would eat here again. When I thanked the server for the check, I was looking at my wife and accidentally said "thank you, I love you" to the server. My wife won't stop laughing at me for that. She called her mom to make fun of me for it. I don't know if the server heard me. If she did, she was polite about my gaffe.“
“It has expanded since it first opened years ago. The layout is inviting and seems to cater to a wide variety of crowds (genX - genZ). The service is what you'd expect from any other sports bar, the bartenders are personable and attentive. The food is bar food, which isn't a bad thing, especially served with alcohol and alcohol, so enjoy.Prices are reflective of the current economy, inflation and supply issues make going out a little more tight, but this place was worth the hangout.“
“some of the best wings in columbus. the place is very unassuming but don't let that stop you from going on. the staff is great and accommodating; the food is on point; and you get to do a little keno while you wait or eat. must try if you like wings and that is the only thing I have tried so far.“
“Boosie Bingo on Tuesday nights from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. is my favorite! They always have really me and interesting prizes like beer glasses hot lawn chairs and it's a really great environment with plenty of drink choices and food as well“
“We hosted an event here on the 16th and it was perfect. Everything they committed to was followed through and the bartender was great. The space it lovely and we only slightly decorated to personalize it. I would have an event here again anytime. We didn’t actually get food from them, but the drinks were fantastic.“
“This bar is the local bar "in a small town" everyone goes to, where "everyone knows each other". The bartenders know their customers and remember them. I love coming here. I wish they had some money for renovations. If you want a problem free day/night check it out. Oh and the food is pretty ohkay too.“
“Great bar with friendly staff & regulars! But I really wish they would play music. Currently you have to pay touchtunes or else sit in silence. That's fine when it's busy but when there's only a few people at the bar, that's absurd. Many times I will drive past, see there's not many people there, and not go in because I don't want to have to spend a bunch of money playing music or sit in silence. Really hope the owner changes this! This would be a 5-star review if they do.“
“This place has stood the test of time! Westside masterpiece in a lot of ways. The flow of the crowd is a touch up and down... some night its slow, other nights its hopping! but when you're there you feel pretty good. The staff is very solid, nice little patio area to smoke if you'd like, the drinks are priced well,, nice pool tables, dart boards. I do wish they would add the Golden Tee machine back again. One of my all-time favorite saloons that's for sure!“
“I’ve been off and on going to this bar for a year now and absolutely love this place. The staff is respectful but knows how to set boundaries when it is needed. The drinks are great and the bartenders are very accommodating with drink requests. The owner does a good job taking care of the staff and all their guests to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. This is a bar that I feel safe going to any day of the week, at anytime of day/night.“
“Thirsty's is the perfect mix of dive bar chic, and Cheers, where everyone knows your name. Odds are if you come in more than once the bartenders will remember your favorite drink. If you want a friendly environment with great drink prices, and hands down stellar service from all the staff, Thirsty's Pub is where it's at. Sure to be one of the premiere bars on Columbus' Westside near the casino. If you don't believe it let the pictures of their amazing drinks do the speaking.“
“Today was my first time and I was delighted, two days before I asked them this way if they broadcast a game and they told me it was probable, I thought it was great that they responded to me. Today when I arrived at the place Kira who was at the bar was so kind that she played me the game I wanted to see, super friendly, she was always attentive if we needed anything. I will definitely return.“
“The 1 and only complaint I have is if you're seated in a booth. There's so much traffic so close to your table, other than that server was awesome, food was fresh and delicious. Manager kept checking up on us. We will definitely be back.“
“The interior of Daily Growler is nothing special. A small space with a few tables, a small patio area, and a backroom with a few more tables for the overflow. The reason to go to Daily Growler? The around 50 taps of beer. If you are a beer lover this place is paradise. They have a ton of amazing beer options. Unique options many you will have a hard time finding at other places. Whoever decides their tap lineup must be really passionate about finding exciting beers. I recommend getting a flight when you visit. You wont be disappointed!“
