“Small local coffee shop. You place your order, grab your beverage, and then take a seat. We enjoyed our food and experience, but personally prefer a little more elbow room. I recommend this place if you are a group of two or less just due to size of space. There isn't a ton of seating, maybe 10 two seat tables. Once the seats are taken, you have to wait for availability. The coffee is great! It was self-serve with the option or half and half or oat milk in their fridge. Orange juice is available, and it tasted fresh squeezed! The food was really tasty! We ordered the breakfast tacos, the greek omelet with cinnamon raisin toast, and split the hashbrowns.“
“Absolutely loved this place! The food was aAmazing! They have no deep fryers, heat lamps, or microwaves in the entire place so you know your getting real cook to order food! The million dollar bacon is melt in your mouth! (Literally) Definitely will be visiting again soon!“
“Chill little coffee shop offering their own varieties of roasted beans. Want something not-too-dark but not-too-light? Try their "Armando's Blend." Very nice cup. Counter folks are always very pleasant. If you need help deciding, you can count on them for a solid recommendation. Shop is small, but there are quite a few tables and chairs, so you can usually count on scoring one or sharing one. Outdoor seating is great, especially in the morning. Parking is good, but whatever you do, don't park in the bank lot next door! If the lot does get full, just park on the side street (very close).Dietary restrictions: Keto friendly coffeeLow carb friendly coffeePaleo friendly coffeeCarnivore friendly coffee“
“This is a MUST VISIT in Columbus! They have limited hours, so check before you go.Sylvanna took great care of us. Scotty and his Mrs. made their rounds the entire time, refilling drinks and making everyone feel welcome. This will be one of your favorite destinations after just the first visit. I enjoyed the meatloaf and the waffle while my guest wolfed down a sandwich and French toast. If you disagree about this place, I will meet you there and fight you in the parking lot. It won't solve anything, but at least I'll be able to enjoy some waffles after you whip me.“
“Do not sleep on this place! I'm in Columbus for work and wasn't sure where to go for breakfast. Saw the 5 stars and decided on Scotty's! The food was delicious and they have sausage patties, which are far superior to the links. Had a tasty breakfast and great service. Highly recommend!“
“This is a coffee shop and bar in one people! It’s relaxed, cozy and full of lush pretty plants. They have a rotating menu of gorgeous cocktails. I went with the cutie patootie which had blueberry vodka, cassis, blueberry Demerara, lemon and egg white. It actually tasted like blueberry pie, crust and all! All the drinks look amazing. And such a great ambiance, a perfect place to read, work or just cozy up and sip a cocktail and stare at the rain“
“We came on an extremely busy night (St. Patrick’s Day weekend and during Ramadan) and the place was packed. We had a large group of 7 and the chef and staff went out of their way to get us seated, pushing tables together and checking on us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable. They all had smiles on their faces and were genuinely helpful. The food came out SO quickly, we barely had to wait. Everyone’s meals were delicious, and the hummus was divine. ? Highly recommend!“
“Absolutely fantastic. The flavors are perfectly blended with spices and sweeter drinks to cool the taste buds. Though the line was long right at 12 they moved so fast and were so efficient at getting people their food and drinks. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend. The chef is up for multiple awards and should win!“
“My fiancé and I love coming here. We grab lattes every weekend and are never disappointed. It’s the perfect grab and go latte spot. The drinks are affordable and seriously delicious. Everyone who works there is always delightful and makes for a joyful experience. 10/10 recommend.“
“The Bacon Egg Breakfast Sandwich was absolutely delicious! We split one between the two of us and were not disappointed. The price($10) was a bit high, but after eating it, I understand why. The quality of ingredients were definitely superior to other breakfast sandwiches we've had. YUM! We would definitely go back to try more items. Thank you!“
“This Japanese marketplace is absolutely adorable! I tried mocha mousse, coffee cream roll, and savory breads, all of which were incredibly delicious. The cake was delightfully moist, and the chocolate ganache had the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor.“
“Whoever curated the space and the menu, your a divine woman ? ? my husband and I will always find some time to drive over an hour from Cincinnati to this beautiful breakfast spot in Columbus. The food is increíble ? I always order the same thing (The Blueberry Chia Bowl is so unique and delicious I’ve never had anything like it before, the Avo Toast with Lox & an egg on top, and the Matcha is Heaven ? we always come here before spa appointments so it gets us in the right state of mind pre-spa. Amazing service“
“Our Non-Profit organization held a fundraiser and reception for a visiting author. We chose Mozart's due to our years long appreciation of the food and service. Anand worked with our group to provide a wonderful atmosphere for our event. The staff were attentive and very professional in their assistance. The food was delicous and enjoyed by all the attendees. It was the perfect place and we had a wonderful time.“
“I really like this place, only thing I don’t like is how this is a jazz bar but they add $20 extra to your tab for them having a band. It’s a JAZZ bar! That’s like going to a water park and they charge you an extra $20 for the use of the water lol tipping the band should be optional for the customers or at least post a sign stating that. I don’t have a problem with paying it just through me off guard. Plus you’re still tipping the waiter.“
“Great little spot for some lunch or a sweet treat. We stopped in and had a sandwich and a piece of cake for lunch and it was amazing. Service was so nice and engaging you have to give it a shot. Oh, and get the carrot cake but better bring help, the slice is the size of your head! “
“Fabulous experience at Sycamore with impromptu seats at the bar. Started with a huge salad and the sticky carrots which had a bit of heat -- both were delicious and the salad was big enough to be an entree salad. Ravioli and Veggie Tagine were both fantastic. Complex seasoning and flavors and both vegetarian. Finished off with a strawberry rhubarb pie a la mode. Everything was excellent. And the service was outstanding.“
“Tabletop is a wonderful place to hang out for a hours with your friends... They have tons of fun games to choose from that are organized with a helpful color-coded system. What it may lack in atmosphere is more than made up by the friendly, helpful staff and delicious food and drink selections. Highly recommend!“
“I went here with my friends today (she got the reservation so I can’t comment on the reservation system-but it seemed to go smoothly) and really enjoyed the experience! The staff were pretty unpleasant (except the shorter girl with the brown hair and ponytail), the girl working at the front desk kind of seemed like she hated her life, and the other girl working the session after ours with the frizzy blonde hair and classes seemed super tired and disinterested. My food was ok, the bubble tea was good (came in a cute container) i just didn’t like it that much and i wish my churro donut was warm. But, alas. Ok enough negative, the KITTIES!! They were great and they had a lovely play area, super cute in there! Sweetest kitties i have ever met, they’re totally good with going up to them and petting bellies (most of them at least) and there was one kitty that was spotted that was super playful. I wanted to adopt them all!! Loved the kitties that was the best experience but service and food could’ve been better overall like it a lot and i would come back.:)Kid-friendliness: You probably shouldn’t bring your kids here because the kitties are sensitive to sound (and kids have the tendency to get excited and run)… So bring your 14 year old more mature kids and keep in mind the rules… lol“
“Nice area to get work done. The WiFi seemed questionable at times but I'd need to go back a few times for a better assessment. Staff all nice. Parking was free with 3hr limit posted on the signs. It was sunny when I went and enjoyed a calm walk exploring the area when I was done. I plan to come back periodically.“
“Bright and wonderfully decorated modern space. Efficient counter service and delicious menu options. The vegan mango Lassi with cardamom was particularly special. Gluten free options were clearly available on the menu. Will definitely go back. We'll done.“
“The food was delicious. I had the Mexicali salad and my husband had the pimento cheeseburger with fries and rosemary aioli. Both of us had hot apple cider to drink, which is our favorite drink! The service was quick and friendly. We went during a peak time so it was hard to find an open table right away (you seat yourself). The restaurant was clean, warm, and buzzing.Parking: There is a free lot in the back and extremely limited street parking. There's generally a constant turnover of a few cars in the parking lot but you might have to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up.“
“I'm very split on this place. I love that they clearly use high quality ingredients. I love that they have creative baked goods and breakfast/brunch items. I love the decor. However it is very expensive. Which would be fine, except half of the time (out of 4-5 times) I have gotten a meal here it has been bland. If I order a ham biscuit with horseradish sauce, that should have a ton of flavor, but lo and behold, somehow that happened (although the biscuits have always been consistently good). Where do you buy bland ham from? The service is generally quite dry... I always kind of get the impression that I'm an inconvenience. The employees aren't overtly mean or disrespectful, but they don't really do much to make the place feel welcoming. Again, that'd be fine if it weren't for the lack of consistency and the prices. However their desserts have always been very good, and I always like to see what seasonal pie they are doing. It's hard for me not to step in and buy a slice when I'm walking by on the sidewalk. You'd find me coming here much more often if they could make their breakfast/brunch consistently good enough to justify the high prices.“
“This is my favorite coffee shop in Columbus, because of the owner, the best barista in Columbus. Raymond is passionate about coffee and teaching others about how his products are sourced, and what makes them unique. He comes up with great specialty drinks with various herbs, spices, and fruit to keep things interesting in case you want to mix it up a little and try something new. His staff are well trained and knowledgeable about what they're making, and their expertise shines through all their drinks and snacks.Dietary restrictions: Coconut, oat, soy milk alternatives.Parking: Giant parking lot that fills up fast on the weekend.“
“Our 1st visit. It was restaurant week. Took awhile to be waited on after we were seated - they were quite busy and most likely not expecting the demand. Our waiter (in-training)was excellent). Our 3-course meals were wonderful with very fresh ingredients ..the lobster pasta dish was amazing. Nice atmosphere. We will be back.“
“Oh my god — it’s almost criminal how good their pancakes are, like truly the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The coffee and baked goods are always superb as well, and I’m really excited to try their soups! Such an amazing little hidden gem ♥️Parking: Street parking on Doten Ave! Order at the window and they’ll bring it out to your car!“
“Oh. My. Gosh. I loved this place! Why can't I give 6 stars?! Loved that they have perfected their menu. They don't have so much that they are spreading themselves thin. Everyone knows the menu so well, and the coffee is perfection. The line moved so quickly, it was a well operated machine, but were still friendly!“
“This is a breakfast restaurant. So it's only open until 2:30pm. They serve organic food and interesting juice combinations. My favorite is the Trifecta. I get eggs, bacon, and a large Belgian waffle, all perfectly prepared and served on a large square plate. I also opted for a juice drink called a Mango Passion Palmer, a combination of mango and passion fruit juices with green tea with a lemon wedge. It was quite good. This is a good family restaurant with a selection that should appeal to kids as well.“
“03/30/24 - I revisited Java Central for another Starlit Ways performance. This talent duo is a must see and thankfully Java Central hosts them frequently. Happy to be a part of a full house for their performance. I ordered their Vanilla Bean latte. Out of this world!Love this eclectic coffee shop. The ambiance, the fellow patrons, the live entertainment. Special shout out to the talented Starlit Ways. Amazing, Beautiful, & Creative performers. One of the best coffees I’ve had in Westerville. The commissioned/independent art work brings decor to the coffee shop. Excellent service from friendly and professional staff. Comfortable seating inside and there is outdoor seating also. Limited street parking available. Parking depends on the day and hour you plan on visiting. Decent prices.“
“My partner and I LOVE this place! He usually gets general tsos, and I usually get a club sandwich, but their menu is huge and diverse. I love that I can get a deli sandwich and a side of crab rangoon. And the food is GOOD. Seriously SO GOOD. Lettuce and tomato on my sandwich is always fresh, the bacon is sooo good, and they have tons of bagel options! Their pricing is also incredible, and service is fast and always accurate! Honestly kind of tearing up writing this review, I hope this place stays here forever and never changes. It's a very nostalgic feeling spot in the most comforting way.“
“This place was great! We moved to the neighborhood recently, and it's so wonderful to have a good cafe within walking distance. We were immediately greeted by the owners and thanked for coming in. Silvia took our order and was so sweet. The chicken salad and turkey burger were both delicious, and the coffee was incredible. We drank our lattes so fast we ordered a second round to go. The owner showed me around to the meeting areas and was so sweet and personable. I hate to think how much money I am going to be spending here, but glad to support this great business!“
“Beautiful location, inside and out. The stained glass windows look great.Right when I took my first sip of the Almond Joy latte I knew it was the best latte I have ever had. Great taste, great price, great vibes.Maybe wish there were more outlets & seating but it was busier when I went.“
“First time visiting today! I got a latte and their breakfast burrito to go.Latte - 8/10 for taste! I would’ve liked it to be a bit hotter. I’ll remember to ask for it extra hot next time :)Burrito - didn’t think it would be so large! it was quite tasty to say the least. 10/10.Service - 10/10! I was greeted as soon as I opened the door, the woman working the front counter today was friendly & patient.Long story short, I will definitely be back again soon!“
“First time to Cafe Elena, and I'd love to come back and try more options from the menu. When you walk in, you stand and wait to be seated. There are baked good that you can purchase to go, and the menu is super diverse. This is on a plaza next to Planet Fitness. Plenty of parking available. Service was great. They were busy, but very nice! Food was great! They had sweet and savory options. Their food was very fresh. Berries looked delicious, beans were washed for the huevos rancheros, smoothie was delicious.“
“A fun hipster coffee shop to casually hang out or catch up on some emails. Plants all have names and they play dope vinyls. The viet coffee I ordered took awhile to come out.. like 20 minutes. So it was a bit awkward having coffee with a friend but without coffee in front of me for so long lol. Viet coffee... was actually not as strong as I was hoping but it was still a decent drink Parking can get hairy if it gets busy but there's a small handful of spots along their storefront“
“We went there for the first time on Christmas day. Everything else was closed so we figured why not try something new? It is an AUTHENTIC Somali restaurant. We were the only Americans there. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. They didn't have a menu you when we went, our server just asked what meat we wanted and we couldn't decide so he brought us an assortment. Fish, chicken, and goat. The goat was amazing!! We will probably get all goat next time. We got spaghetti and rice, both were fantastic. I would recommend. It feels like you are stepping out of Columbus and into another country when you enter this establishment.“
“Great little Italian restaurant. Family run for at least the past 35-40 years?❤️❤️Parking: Parking out front and on the side will fill up during peak hours. Behind the store is parking for a nearby shopping center. It’s a very small walk from restaurant to plenty of parking if you can’t find a spot up front.“
“The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. My friends and I love German Village, and Stauf's obviously had to be our first stop, so we could explore with our coffees! The coffee shop has their main area, as well as another room for studying or working remotely. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy the ambiance!“
“If I could give the food six stars, I would. I am often disappointed when eating out. I ordered eggs benedict and the bread was perfectly toasty textured and the hollandaise was delightful. Someone in that kitchen understands and cares about what they create.“
“A popular, corner spot to eat breakfast and brunch in Columbus. They said they have "award winning" breakfast tacos for $16. When you say, "award winning" you obviously have to order it. Now a CA gal knows her tacos. These tacos were good. You can taste the fresh made corn tortillas. Crema, cotija cheese and avocado made it stand out. I liked the chorizo and egg combo as well. It came with an ear of street corn which was good. Make sure to have clean hands because this could get messy. It is delicious. Here's my issue, my standards for tacos are pretty high coming from CA. While the taco was good, a $16 price point for 3 relatively small tacos in a paper vessel seems somewhat expensive, especially sitting outside in a cold patio. Maybe $12-13 and I would have been raving about this place. Surprisingly food is just as expensive in Columbus as it is in CA.“
“Great place! The food was so good FOR LUNCH I had to double back for dinner. The atmosphere is very clean and the employees are very friendly. The food was prepared fast and very tasty ?. If you are in the Columbus area stop here and get a bite! 5 STAR ? They also have really good “
“We were in town visiting OSU and we had heard of this place since they have a few locations back home in Chicago burbs. Glad we ate here before we headed home. Great food, friendly service and restaurant was very clean. Food was served fast which was appreciated.“
“Grandview Grind is QUIET, and I love it. Nothing against other Columbus coffee staples (you know who you are), but very often the noise is too loud to hold a comfortable conversation or just study in peace. Grandview Grind is a great place for either. Please go and enjoy good lattes, good (though limited) bakery, and a pleasant variety of seasonal drinks. Also, they frequently have a varied offering of local coffee beans AND you can buy them in bulk if that's your need.5/5 would recommend Grandview Grind to anyone who likes coffee, quiet, or both“
“Wonderful place to have lunch during our museum outing. They validated parking (~$7 value). The kid menu is definitely affordable and can probably feed an adult if you order an additional appetizer. I just kept wanting to eat more pumpkin curry soup.....every bite was like, I want another bite. It was very savory and flavorful. The burger on a pretzel bun was cooked just right (thank you for not pressing the meat). The beet fried chips were light and although completely made out of beets, just barely tasted like beets. Sweet potato fries were excellent also.“
“Had brunch here again today... because breakfast/brunch is my favorite meal! I usually order the "Classic Eggs Benedict", but decided to go off the rails and ordered "The Works" omelette, side of potatoes and bacon, accompanied by some really good multigrain, whole wheat toast. Oh, and to really switch things up, instead of coffee, I had their wonderful hot chocolate with whip cream and caramel topping. I told the server the only thing missing was some teeny, tiny marshmallows under the whip cream as a nice surprise. As far as the ambience, this place is a little more upscale than the sole proprietor diner. However, the food is certainly on par.“
“Some of the best coffee I've ever had. Their Buckeye Latte and New Grounds Mocha are my favorite. The caramel macchiato is also amazing. I look forward to getting New Grounds every time I'm in the area. Everyone ought to support this local coffee shop!“
“Delicious and a lovely variety of tea! All the food was fresh and made with care and had a beautiful presentation. If you like tea and a calm environment I highly recommend!Vegetarian options: There aren't a ton of meat substitutes however there was a large selection of the menu that didn't come with meat and a few options with tofu which I liked!“
“I actually thought it was great! For those confused, this used to not be a restaurant that served warm meals with a different name, now completely changed and is a cafe. Atmosphere is beautiful with gorgeous pictures of the country and lovely music playing. I highly enjoyed the coffee I purchased it. There was a long wait time for one cup of coffee, it seemed they took their time preparing, but this issue can easily be fixed and is understandable for a new place. Please go and check out the sweets in the glass case!“
“For anyone curious, there is a new bakery in the space. Vget Bakery & Cafe is currently having a soft open and plans to be fully open early May. They serve egg toast, rice balls, and Hong Kong style milk tea. They will be serving coffee once they fully open. The food I've tried so far is great and I'm looking forward to the grand opening!“
