Kroger Bakery

I cannot say enough good things about the Deli Department at the Kroger at Northwoods in Vandalia. My Granddaughter had a garden wedding reception on July 15. She was on a budget for about 100 guests. She put me, her grandmother, in charge. I am from Columbus but visited Northwoods in my planning. I was a little early to a close I had scheduled for today, so I stopped into Kroger to pick up something to eat real quick. The sushi was fantastic as usual, but it's the woman at the self check out I want to talk about. She complimented me on my outfit as I was walking up and was super sweet. I've been in this area almost 4 years now and usually shop at the Troy marketplace location but decided to try the Vandalia store for a change. It was busy but not too crowded for a Sunday morning. Naturally it's smaller than the Troy location but it was my impression that they may actually have more Hispanic and Mexican items on their shelves.
