I started with fried pickles, which were crunchy and simply delightful. Our entrees were incredible. Sometimes there is a wait .....but, absolutely worth it!The food is prepared fresh, to order and is always filling and delicious. They do have a set set menu that covers all tastes , a children's menu and dessert menu.Never disappointed with the plate presentation , the taste and the amount of great food you get.In the warmer weather they offer outside seating along Tinkers Creek in the park and wood burning pits in the cooler weather. “Decided to see Michael Kosta (from one of our favorite shows) during a busy downtown wknd. Had never been here before. Luckily we found parking in the garage right across the street. The pierogies were also a bit different than I expected as they were a bit thicker noodle wise than I'm used to. The flavor inside was decent though. “Steve’s was diner was my fav mom’s and pops place. But I been here a few times ever since Steve’s closed and this is my new favorite spot ! The food is delicious, they are kid friendly and even give out crayons and coloring pages which is so nice for kids to relax and color. The kids menu is nice and the kids meals are huge ! “I've eaten here a few times as of writing this review. Overall, my experiences have been pretty good. Of all the times I've been here, there was only one negative dish. It was something the person had gotten many times before and they were surprised so it really felt like a one time thing. The management was really nice about the whole situation as well so it never soured the dinner experience. Every other time, our food was exquisite. The drinks are also pretty good. I've tried a different one every time and had been happy with all but one (which was a special and just not my cup of tea, there was nothing bad about it on the restaurant's side). The drinks are often pretty strong which is a plus in my opinion. The staff is great and the atmosphere is wonderful, especially if you can sit by the window on a nice day to see the restaurant's namesake, the creekside. Overall great and I will be visiting more in the future.“

Our waitress was Kiera and she was an absolute blast. She was friendly and knowledgeable and made our dinner an experience. It took about 8-10 minutes to even be noticed and get a glass of water. It happens, I guess. Upon noticing their mistake, I was catered to throughout my visit to ensure I was completely satisfied … and I was! The owner stopped by several times and even offered a glass of good French wine as an apology but I hospitable declined … I was still the clock per se. The waitress was very apologetic, nice, and friendly. If you’re in for a great meal and great people to serve you … please stop by! The cocktails were very good. The food and drinks are a bit overpriced but I expect it in Pinecrest. Would have given 5 stars but when asked if we wanted water when first arrived they brought out an artesian bottled water and didn't give offer us "free" water. They charged us $8 for the water we didn't have a choice in. When they came around during the meal they refilled with thankfully free water. Be aware that you may need to specify you want normal water like most other places would serve you. Kind of sus.Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options, mostly in the salads or vegetables. Make sure to ask the server as some options that seem vegetarian are cooked with animal fat/broth.Parking: Large lot and street parking, but a very busy area so may need to circle a few times.“

I’m from Pennsylvania and didn’t even miss the French fries because the abundance of red onions, blue cheese and tomatoes mixed with the vinaigrette dressing made it even more enjoyable than a one of my favorite dinners; steak and asparagus. “We had brunch at Lucky's Cafe on Sunday April 14, 2024. I have so many things to say about this place, so let's just start at the beginning. We found street parking right out front. There is not a designated parking lot. For a party of two, we were quoted a 40 minute wait. After only about 15 minutes, we got a call that our table was ready. We were seated at a table right next to the kitchen door which was a bit chaotic, but worked fine for our party. Our waitress was very attentive and quickly got our drink orders. I ordered a Thai iced tea and Kevin got an iced Lucky's latte. Both very good but nothing special. For our meals we ordered the biscuits and the shipwreck. Seasonal vegetables in the shipwreck included bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Very generous portions and delicious. The fresh fruit side with the shipwreck consisted of half a strawberry, slice of pineapple, and wedge of orange. Seems like not much, but was the perfect amount of a refreshing sweet bite after the large plate of everything else. On the table was a house made sweet and smoky hot sauce that I used on every bite of the shipwreck. So delicious. Saved my last piece of toast to eat with their house made blackberry/raspberry/grape jam. Incredible. Included large pieces of fruit, which I love in a fresh jam. And I haven't even mentioned the pecan bacon*. After my first bite, I was thanking our waitress for bringing it up and telling us about it. Definitely would normally overlook getting something like that as a side dish. There are also several vegetarian options on the menu, with one dish able to be made vegan by getting the toast with no butter.We interacted with several staff members at different phases of our meal. Everyone from the hostess, to the barista, our waitress, and the other servers helping to run food/clear plates was abundantly friendly and helpful. One waiter passing by noticed us looking at the art above our table, which was an original painting from a local artist, and told us some interesting facts about the piece. Felt like a true collaborative team working to make the best experience for all guests.Overall, service was incredible and food was delicious. The only reason I am knocking one star off "atmosphere" is due to the fact that this place is not accessible for people in wheelchairs/other disabilities. You have to walk up a step just to get in the front door, and the entryway is so cramped with a pasty/coffee counter plus the host stand. The aisles are very narrow and people are constantly getting in each other's way. There is also only one single-use bathroom. Everything was just fine for us, but definitely something to be aware of if you are planning a trip here!*Pecan bacon comes with 3 pieces, but I got too excited as soon as the plate came out!Want to try: cinnamon roll, blueberry smoothieVegetarian options: A few options including waffles and macaroni & cheese. “We were walking down W 25th and saw Old Angle Tavern from the windows facing the street. It looked like a relaxed place that had some people in it, but wasn't overlying crowded so we strolled in. I'm glad we did!We sat at the bar and were greeted by a friendly bartender. After some light conversation, we ordered some food. I got some wings that really hit the spot! They have a great Buffalo sauce that's flavorful and spicy. And they're ranch dipping sauce is clearly made in house...I've never had ranch that was that buttery and tasty! “Home Bistro is by far one of the best and most unique restaurants in little Italy. Their servers are great and very friendly in addition to the already amazing food. While a non Italian resturant in Little Italy might seem weird, Home Bistro does not disappoint 6/5 stars :)“
