“I missed lunch with our friends because I wasn’t feeling well. My husband brought me home a chicken dish with onions and Gorgonzola cheese, Parmesan risotto and chophouse salad. Everything was wonderful once I felt well enough to eat it! The risotto was the best I ever had!“

“This fantastic family owned and run restaurant is often full for good reasons! The food and service is the best you'll get anywhere. Generous servings almost have you taking some home with you! “Back to Ohio after living in Florida for 25 years! The Sunrise is still the same as it was then! It looks the same, the food is still delicious and the servers are amazing! We ordered our old favorite, veal Parmesan, and were assured by April , our server, that it was still the same. She was right!! It’s still delicious and the serving is enough for at least two meals. The bread is wonderful too! If you’ve never been you must go! If was a favorite in the past be assured it’s still the same!!“

“Our 1st experience and not a bad one. Very clean atmosphere. Excellent service, very good homemade food. I had one of the Thursday specials, " The Ruben Sandwich, Fries and added a house salad, the sandwich was large and filled. The thousand island was on the side. Have i had better, honestly yes, but this Ruben was in the top 5. The lettuce salad arrived in a small plastic dish with 1 cucumber slice a 1 grape tomato, ( which I cut in two ) lol. Price: $3.50, ouch. My wife ordered chopped steak, med well w/ Fries and house salad. It arrived hot and still juicy. She stated: very good.The menu variety is good and reasonable prices, except the gold salad. Wayside offers many daily specials to choose from and a senior and kids menus.I might add, finish your experience with a piece of the chefs homemade cheesecake.I give it a rating of 4. When we're in the area again. Sure we will make plans to patronize again. Thanks all.“

“I for the first time ordered on line and it went through door dash. But even though one ordered was mistakenly made wrong, I called the restaurant and they walked me through what to do and helped me, things were corrected and the pizzas were fantastic. I plan on getting another order placed this weekend.“

“Had a wonderful holiday lunch here and absolutely all of our food was delicious. One of the best restaurants I have been to. I ordered the lamb medium rare and it was so juicy and was easily the most flavorful lamb I've ever had. The grilled octopus was delicious and tasted so fresh. The aged Manhattan is one of the best I've ever had. The creme brulee was also quite tasty and they give you quite a large amount of it. Will definitely be going back very soon!“

“Our nonprofit worked with Salvatore's Howland to host a retirement party for our president in their newly renovated banquet hall. It was the perfect size and ambiance for the event. Sal Jr. and the other staff were great to work with from our initial inquiry and meeting to execution of the event and clean up. The food spread was not only delicious but beautifully displayed, and the team went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. We received so many compliments on the entire affair and will certainly keep them in mind for future events we might have. “Hands down the best Italian restoration I have found in Warren. Period.Friday night pre-concert dinner. Immediately seated but the place filled up quickly. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Too many menus for my taste but all was clear and the variety of choices impressive.We got a calamari appetizer and a couple glasses of merlot. I opted for the braciole and my date the egg plant parmesian. Salads can quickly with bread and butter. Surprises a class operation didn't have dipping oil.Entrees came just as we finished salads.The food was outstanding. Portions were ginormous. Three pieces of braciole and a huge plate of pasta. I couldn't finish it all. Sauce was excellant thick enough to stick to the meat and noodle but not heavy. Our server, Marley, offered a desert menu but we declined. But I may got back with an empty stomach just to check them out. By the way, Marley was great. Ask her nice and she will sing for you.“
