“I saw the overall review was a 3.7, so I wanted to be generous, as I was with my tip for something that didn't deserve 20% and never got a thank you from the bartender. So....first of all, we ate ate the bar, they're busy on a Friday night at 5, so you don't expect service as you would get at a table. On a high note, our grilled octopus & raw oysters were both excellent, the soup, pasta fagiiola was very good, but someone in the kitchen using lemon on the Salmon Alla Linda (should be Lemona) of my Swordfish Limona special, should get a hand slapping. That's all you could taste, even the pasta! I swear they must be going through gallons of Real Lemon, even if it says Linda or Limona, steer clear...it killed the main course. The ambiance is very nice, we love the outdoor patio during the summer months too.”

“We walked here from The Grand Resort for a nightcap and ended up ordering some appetizers. There is an inside and semi outside section of the bar - we picked the outside section. The ugly lights were on inside and it seemed like more of a cafeteria. There is smoking outside but it is well ventilated. Our bartender was nice and food came out fast. Standard dive bar food with a really clean fryer: Gyro - 3/5 Garlic Cheese Curds - 2.5/5 Mac & Cheese Bites - 5/5 Philly Cheese Fries - 3.5/5”

“We eat here pretty regularly as we live close by and have been since the day they opened. I can honestly say we have NEVER had a bad meal. Whether we eat in, Door Dash or pick it up to go ourselves, the food has always been fresh and on point. I customize my enchiladas and they have always been exactly as I have ordered. If you want true authentic Mexican food & atmosphere this IS the only place in town to go.”

My husband had the NY Strip Steak with Texas potatoes, and I had a gyro with red skinned mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked to perfection and eveything was so delish. Have i had better, honestly yes, but this Ruben was in the top 5. The lettuce salad arrived in a small plastic dish with 1 cucumber slice a 1 grape tomato, ( which I cut in two ) lol. Price: $3.50, ouch. My wife ordered chopped steak, med well w/ Fries and house salad. It arrived hot and still juicy. She stated: very good.The menu variety is good and reasonable prices, except the gold salad. Wayside offers many daily specials to choose from and a senior and kids menus.I might add, finish your experience with a piece of the chefs homemade cheesecake.I give it a rating of 4. On that note, Nova IS one of my wifes and her families favorite places for coffee & breakfast.We went today and I had the Nova Hot Sam sandwich with hash browns. This sandwich was fantastic! The owner of this business is one of the last normal business owners that I know of that exists. It is so common to be mistreated by business owners, and managers that when I encounter someone like this man, it really makes me so grateful. The owner volunteered to mix in the items by hand just because I was disappointed. I am a little embarrassed to admit that, because it kind of makes me sound like a food obsessed fatty. But I really want everyone to understand what a wonderful place this is. And their ice cream is simply the best. I live like 15 mins away and pass H AND DQ. I will always drive the extra few miles to come here. The people who work here are always polite, kind, and always let you know they are happy you have chosen to come there. “Had a wonderful holiday lunch here and absolutely all of our food was delicious. One of the best restaurants I have been to. I ordered the lamb medium rare and it was so juicy and was easily the most flavorful lamb I've ever had. The grilled octopus was delicious and tasted so fresh. The aged Manhattan is one of the best I've ever had. The creme brulee was also quite tasty and they give you quite a large amount of it. Will definitely be going back very soon!”

“They were amazing when they had the old owners, when the new ones bought hotdog shop things weren’t the same, however we tried them again recently and the chili cheese hot dogs and fries were amazing! The burgers were a little bit on the bland side but besides that, the rest was great.”

“I accidentally found this gem. I stayed at a hotel around the corner and just drove by this place and chose to get in.The place is clean and flawless. There’s a welcoming and candid atmosphere. The best is: the food.There’s a team in the kitchen that knows exactly what they’re doing. This is NOT your average “around the corner local tavern”.You can tell food is cooked with creativity, skills and technique. Not only it is delicious but adventurous.I got the onion soup (one of the best I’ve had in a while) and a mouth watering pork chops with coffee sauce and pecans. Amazing!This is my first time in Warren. If I ever come back, I’d stop by and try one of their burgers that also looked yummy.Keep up the good work!”

“Not your typical Waffle House this one doesn't seem to share in the stigma that only drunk drama occurs here LOL the food is always amazing very Americanized has a wholesome feel but the service can be sketchy I tipped somebody based off of the service I received because a tip is earned we all know that LOL and they were upset that I even tipped them at all evidently but let me say this I tipped my cook three times as much personally through cash app because she deserved it she cooked my meal better than the manager did the first time I came to the store! “I saw the overall review was a 3.7, so I wanted to be generous, as I was with my tip for something that didn't deserve 20% and never got a thank you from the bartender. So....first of all, we ate ate the bar, they're busy on a Friday night at 5, so you don't expect service as you would get at a table. On a high note, our grilled octopus & raw oysters were both excellent, the soup, pasta fagiiola was very good, but someone in the kitchen using lemon on the Salmon Alla Linda (should be Lemona) of my Swordfish Limona special, should get a hand slapping. That's all you could taste, even the pasta! I swear they must be going through gallons of Real Lemon, even if it says Linda or Limona, steer clear...it killed the main course. The ambiance is very nice, we love the outdoor patio during the summer months too.”

“This location is always busy. The drive thru line usually wraps around the building at all different times of the day. So, that should speak volumes about the food their serving. They need to build a bigger building to handle customers faster or maybe open another location nearby.”

“We've had Canes twice since opening. The first time was great, fresh chicken tenders and a lengthy size. Their bread is fantastic! The second time, we got very small fingers compared to the first. Everything else was up to par. Stay consistent with the size of the chicken fingers and compensate for the small ones. We shouldn't get 3 tiny pieces for the 10 dollar price tag! I enjoyed the Canes sauce also.”
