“We have gone here many times as a couple and several times as part of groups, and have never once had a bad meal or experience. The worst thing that I can say, is that I ordered something I was unfamiliar with that was good but not what I was hoping for that day. I have ordered many dishes that I am unfamiliar with here, and have really enjoyed them. The buffet is great, and they frequently change items out. If you've never had a mango lassi before, you have to try one!”

If you like stuff pickled then these are the BEST pickled onions and pickles I've had so far. This half rack of ribs was MASSIVE! Pictures don't do it any justice! The smoked mushroom rice was delicious, all the meat was extremely tender & flavorful. Everything else was the 💣🤯”

Everyone commend on how good it was and plan on returning. Ben gave us full access the party room for decorating and we had it all to ourselves through the evening ( about 65 people)with Bella and Trista as are servers. Both these girls were fantastic. Whenever anything ran low, food or beverages they were there. If anyone is looking to have a small function I highly recommend The Bull & Bear on Belmont.”

General Tso’s Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Crab Rangoons and the Hot and Sour soup are some of our favorite dishes. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!”

It was delicious. The sauce was spot on with a nice variety of real Chinese veggies. Pao outdid himself. They are always friendly and accommodating when you request a white or brown sauce. Other things we often order include General Tso's chicken, Kung Pao chicken, Hunan chicken, Sweet & Sour chicken, Chicken & Broccoli or Shrimp Szechuan and they are always delicious. ☺️”

“My family relocated here about 15 yrs ago and had tried all of the areas Chinese food. We found this place to be as close to back home as possible. The food back home is hard to match. I only wish this area had offered chicken fingers and fried chicken wings like back home, but all in all it’s a good place. I recommend it.”

There is one bartender that always has an attitude and the last time he got us waters and never came back to wait on us so another bartender helped. I normally wont let one guy ruin it for the rest but I will not order if he is there because I leave tips and I don't want to leave someone Zero. I will avoid him because every single time we go, it is something else with him and I am tired of it. He wears his glasses low on his nose and looks down on people like he is better than them. The last time he came over cussing about something and it was really busy. I've been in restaurants for 29 years so I get both sides of it. He is uncalled for.”

As someone who majored in hospitality, I can say with complete confidence that the day shift crew that worked on October 24, 2024 are some diamonds in the rough. It is so rare that I get great hospitality, fast service, AND quality food all in one setting when it comes to fast food or even casual dining. I called to let them know that their efforts and hard work did not go unnoticed and the manager was just as friendly as the rest of the crew. Keep up the great work! And someone give those folks a raise!”

It’s sometimes $7 with cash … very inconsistent and I don’t know if they are ringing the drink up wrong or what the deal is. Cost is near $8 if using a card for payment.”

“Just went to Cs waffles on South Avenue in Boardman and we had Jennifer as our waitress and she was excellent and the food was so good and my pregnant wife loved it. She ate every bit of her waffle and she said that they are the best waffles she ever had. We strongly suggest going there and getting breakfast. It was 10 out of 10 all the way.”

I could have given a lesser review only because of the “attitude” of the hostesses and a few other waitresses but Emma made it 100%. We will be back to visit Emma! “All five stars? Well, it must have been Saturday, I must have gotten a rack of ribs with extra sauce that were smoky good, and the bartender must have done a great job taking my order and getting me a beer.

Seriously, I was absolutely impressed by the ribs. Cooked over charcoal or wood because the smoke ring was perfect, as were the ribs. No fat (NO fat!) and just a slight char on the ends. There are a lot of great rib joints around Youngstown, and since it's harder and harder to find roast lamb on Saturdays, ribs are my safety pick. The ribs at the Royal Oaks were perfect, better after I got them home and slapped them in a casserole and baked at 250 tightly wrapped for like 40 minutes. Absolutely great flavor that will impress anyone who likes a nice rack of ribs.
(A comma can change the meaning of a sentence, but not always) $25 for just a rack, no sides.”
