“Rubicon had a couple tables inside but it looked like people just waited in their cars for their food to be ready probably because the restaurant smelled strongly of bbq. You order at the front and it takes about 30-40mins and they tell you this in advance. We probably should have called or order in but it was our first time. We got the 2 meat potatoe with brisket and bologna. It came with a small side salad with ranch dressing already on it, 1 piece of bread and the potatoe was smothered with bbq sauce and 5 thin slices of cheese. They gave you a good portion of meat on top of the potato. It was good and big enough to share with someone!“

“We called in an order from Dallas Texas area for our boss who was in Oklahoma for her mothers funeral and placed a big order for 25 people with short notice. Marco was absolutely wonderful in giving us a quote and taking our order. Super friendly and nice! Dulce was the one who took our payment the next day and she was a joy repeating back our order and correcting any changes. The family raved about how delicious their dinner was and we truly appreciate it so much! You helped us help them take a huge weight off their hands and I will recommend you to anyone visiting that area. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!“

“I just ordered on Uber eats and this place has such delicious BBQ! Their chicken is so juicy and every other meat(I ordered the 'little bit of everything') was awesome as well. The sauce was perfect imo...some sweet with spice. And they are close to my house. By far more than 5 stars!“

“I found this place doing a food delivery. I could smell the love when I walked up to this tiny kitchen. 2 hours later, I came back and tasted that beautiful smell. It Changed My Life. The guys were awesome and I will definitely be back!!!“
“My favorite BBQ in Tulsa! I called my order in, and it was ready when I got there in 20 minutes. I got the food for two to-go, which can honestly feed more than two people. It comes with ribs, brisket, sausage, chicken, and baloney. They also give you some pickles, pickled onions, and diced jalapeños, as well as some tortillas, so you can make your own tacos. It also comes with two sides of your choice. I chose esquites (corn) and green chile mac, which were some of the best barbecue sides I've ever had! And there's an area where you can get barbecue sauce as well as plates and utensils.“

“Our 396th BBQ stop in a 35 state odyssey is destination 'cue at its finest! $53.06 purchased two plates-- the first brisket with coleslaw and cheesy grits, the second ribs with cheesy grits and pinto beans. A jalapeno cheddar sausage, and two banana puddings, completed the order. Everything we tried proved exceptional. The fatty brisket was well smoked, moist, tender, and blessed with a slightly understated version of the classic central Texas rub. The ribs separated cleanly at the bite, and again the rub was sufficiently understated to allow the flavor of the meat to shine. The sausage was more cheesy than most, and very good, while both the grits and pinto beans were superb. The coleslaw, in turn, is one of those clean, palate cleansing bites that is ideal on a plate with two or more meats. Finally, the banana pudding was light, and not overly sweet, which is just the way we like it. All in all, we would rate Oakhart one of the three best 'cue joints of the fourteen that we have visited statewide..“

“They have some “gut bustin’ burgers”When you walk in you better grab any table that is open, even if it hasn’t been cleaned yet. If you don’t’ someone else will. The nice ladies working there will get it cleaned up as soon as they can. We were in the Knotty Pig at 2 PM and it was still packed. If you are touring Route 66 you really need to try this BBQ/Hamburger Dive. It is only a half a mile south of Rout 66. It is easy to find and the food experience is worth the detour! As a precaution, you may want to check with your cardiologist before selecting the burger you eat! They have some kind of secret magic going on with their battering process for their onion rings and fried jalapenos. I have not had any this good anywhere. These were unbelievably delicious! The menu says they only use “100% heart healthy lard” for their fried foods. That’s probably the other reason their onion rings and jalapenos taste so good! I’m guessing here, but I have to assume”100% heart healthy lard” only means that the hog the lard came from had a healthy heart. We had the regular cheese burger and the chili cheese burger. The regular cheese burger came with all the usual condiments on the side and fries. It was a great burger and a pile of fresh fried potatoes. The chili cheese burger was a plate of food. Good burger patty and good chili. The chili had nice spice, but was mild on the heat. I knew I couldn’t eat it all and the jalapeno onion rings too. So, I intentionally quit half way through the burger, because I wanted to focus on the onion rings and jalapenos! I couldn’t finish those either.Very nice waitresses. I asked her about the name “Knotty Pig” in relation to the old Knotty Pine Barbeque restaurant that was in Sand Springs eons ago. She confirmed that many of the recipes from the old Knotty Pine were indeed in use there. She brought us a sample of the BBQ sauce that was made from the recipe of the old Knotty Pine. She also gave us a small sample to take home.Great BBQ/Burger Dive!Originally posted on Yelp by me Spike Speedwell“

“Listen…. This. Food. This. Place….. was better than most places I’ve been to here in Tulsa! But I’m going to compare it to Fixins. Don’t waste your time going to fixins when the service and atmosphere and food at Leon’s is hands down the best!“

“Catfish is excellent! We tried the BBQ as well - brisket and ribs. Ribs 7/10, brisket 4/10 - it was dry. Their sauce was great! Sides were excellent as well - mac and cheese, baked beans both very very good. I loved the atmosphere in this little place too, you can tell the staff works together amazingly well. They all helped each other out which made it a pleasant experience.“

“Al is absolutely wonderful. We stopped in on our way south for vacation. Al the bartender, cook, entertainment and owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The regular patrons were very friendly as well. The outside is a little intimidating but very glad we stopped in.“

“What can I say! It’s Texas Roadhouse. Delicious ( most of the time) my husband and I come here at least once a week but today we came like 4:20pm 20 mins after they open and our food took longer to come out today than a Friday night. Normally it’s less than 15 mins and today was over 40… was disappointed and they forgot my husbands sides and my salad came late. But I asked to talk to the manager Chelsea i believe and she gave us a discount I asked for and apologized and was very nice to us! I love when managers are actually doing their job the RIGHT way instead of being defensive… cause there are a bunch of those out there. Anyways thank you Chelsea !“

“Co-worker brought lunch back to the office that made it smell like a steakhouse and offered me a bite of the loaded mash potato with pulled pork.. I was ruined, I HAD to leave immediately and get my own. For $9, I got a heaping helping of mashed potatoes with cheese, ranch, pulled pork and BBQ sauce. Called it in ahead of time and picked it up when I arrived. Super friendly folks. Will definitely return again!“

“Tulsa has been missing hotpot so we decided to check this place out that took over the old Hibachi Chinese restaurant. Plenty of parking and it’s pretty clean inside. We were seated immediately on a Saturday evening. Our waiter came by and was attentive for the most part. The only downfall of this place is that everything is brought out to you, that includes all meats and veggies. For a party of 5, we put in an order for 4 beef bellies and they brought out what was really one order and we had to keep ordering because it was hard to eat with the meat portioning that they were serving. Their selection of noodles and veggies is okay, lacking a bit but not a deal breaker. The only thing you have access to is sauces and fruits, other than that, everything is brought out by your waiter. Tables are very large and gives everyone a good amount of space. Not enough to knock off a star but it’s not efficient but the broth was good and tastier than most hotpot’s and I enjoyed my time there. I would definitely come back since the hotpot scene in Tulsa is finally ramping up.“

“Phenomenal bbq. In Tulsa on business and local co-worker recommended this restaurant. You smell the smoke as soon as you enter. I got the pork sandwich with beans and "potato salad" which looks like mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent. One of my coworkers ordered the ribs and he said it was the best ribs he ever had. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!“

“Great meal at Daddy B's!!! I love the dry seasoning that was put on the meat prior to serving. They have 2 really good bbq sauces, and both our sides were delicious. In this day and time, it is not just good enough to have good meat, and they delivered on all sides. They had a good-looking selection of desserts, also. We will be back again to try something new.“

“Good smoked BBQ. This is my second best BBQ place. Always served warm and very good sides like fried okra, potato salad, etc. Pickles bar has good and fresh selection. Love the banana pudding. My only complaint is it is too small of a place. They do have other larger locations.“
“I'll repeat was others are saying, OK Joe's has THE BEST BBQ in town! I was first introduced to their deliciousness while visiting family in KC! At first bite, I knew I'd found THE ONE! I fell in love with their tender meats, delicious flavors, and OH SO Fresh, Homemade Sides! And did I mention, they also sell their homemade BBQ Sauces, Ketchup, and Seasonings in-house! If you read the owners bio, he also makes and sells grills in-house! I like to use their seasoning in a variety of dishes I make at home from meats to veggies and beyond! When others ask what I used, I say it's my secret ingredient! Today, we ordered a brisket plate with coleslaw and baked beans & a 2-Meat plate with pulled pork, hot sausage, fried whole okra, and hush puppies!!!! Yum! If you've not been and you love BBQ, you are truly missing out! Go and see for yourself! And don't forget to try their tasty bread pudding! Just save some for me!!!“

“The quality of the food is excellent and well worth the drive from Oklahoma City. The baked beans alone are worth the trip. Then add some burnt ends, Mac and cheese with some ribs and a salad. The service is great and the restaurant is spacious.“

“Those nachos are amazing. I got pulled pork. I would’ve personally voted five stories but my hubby said that he thinks four stars when it comes to barbecue and he’s more of a person than me. He believes that the food lacked a lot of seasoning. Personally, we did use a lot of their spicy sauce as well as sweet barbecue, which made it perfect so that could be the case. But all in all, I enjoyed the food and the service was great.“

“This is a place that I have been eating at for 12 years. The consistency of the food is fantastic! It's always good every time. The service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere of the place isn't necessarily all that important to me. As long as the quality and service is good, I will continue eating here.“

“A new experience for us. Here visiting family who brought us here. Staff was super friendly and professional. Atmosphere was relaxing with a view of the river. The food was excellent with great portions. If we didn't live 3 states away we'd be back more often.“
