“First time trying this cuisine. I'm going back to try something different from the Oregano Chicken bowl I had. It was good but I need to have another dish to make comparisons. It's a favorite truck at my place of work, so I look forward to reviewing more.“

“This place was Eggceptional! First time here with my mom and a family friend. The menu had a large variety of options. The coffee was good. The food took a little while to arrive to our table but it was worth it! The eggs Benedict was good but the hollandaise sauce was amazing. The freshness of the fruit on the side was eggceptional. The French toast and the waffles were cooked perfectly, and so were the eggs. The bacon was a little crispy for my taste, but the other two people whom were with me liked their bacon cooked that way. Overall the meal was good and of okay value but the taste made it worth it.Parking: Bunch of spots right in front of the restraunt.“

“The food here was delicious, we ordered multiple dishes to try out. It was quite enjoyable! The homey, darker interior was nice. There were so many photos and tapestries regarding Japanese culture.Takoyaki is my favorite street food! So of course we ordered it, and it was delicious!Udon was great, but too much onion (a whole cut up onion) was in the soup and that kind of knocked it down a peg for us all.Curry with katsu pork -amazing, tastes like the kind we make at home.Sushi was great, we had a few different kind so I can't remember the names.All in all, what a nice hidden gem! It doesn't come up easily when searching for this type of food. We took a chance and it was near perfect!To note- always make a reservation. We did, because I'm used to doing that anyway, and it was packed the entire time we were there. Not once was there a free spot to sit.“

The food tastes so much better, my kids kept telling me the desserts weren’t bad that they tasted way better like they were made fresh lol but other than that we had a good time. “I’ve eaten catfish from all over Oklahoma. I love catfish but sometimes I can taste the mud and dirty water that cat lived in. The catfish from the Lokal tasted like a fresh spring with a beautiful mermaid taking care of the fish kittens there wasn’t a speck of dirty water in that fish. I saw that they served Indian tacos and you could have that without meat eat veggie ndn tacos at home all the time.“

“Coming from Chicago and having made brisket in my own smoker for years....my expectations were high. Have you ever been so dehydrated and over heated that when cold water enters your body it's as if it's bringing energy from your mouth to your stomach? Almost like reawakening your senses? “Reliable, reasonable priced sushi and poke bowls. A little hidden gem, fast paced sushi restaurant. Called for take out and they were quick to have order prepared. Ambiance is typical whole in the wall, with some sprucing up. There were only 2 people working so I wouldn't expect much in terms of service. But they've kept their prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend giving this place a try! “I am almost a monthly regular here. On initial discovery, the food can seem a little pricey looking at the menu, but once my husband and I ate here we realized it was totally worth it and the ingredients were prepared to burst with flavor with good cuts and quantity of meat/food. The flavor is always perfect every time, and the food tastes homemade. We both always get either the teriyaki beef bowl or the beef yakiniku beef po'boy. The owner and the waitstaff are always kind.“

“Very clean place. Not over crowded and super clean tables and modern setting. You can see the cooks making your food. Food is made quick. After we ordered and set down, the food was delivered to us in less than 10 mins. The food is hot and fresh. I got the fried cat fish combo-6 piece cat fish and two sides. I choose hush puppies & okra. I also tried the seasoned fries smothered with cheese and they were fire! My only complaint was, there were only 3 hush puppies but tons of okra. Next time I'll order my two sides as hush puppies. Also they need to have vinegar as one of the condiments. But their tarter sauce is very good! The price is great for all the fresh, fast, hot food I got. Only $8.99 for the combo basket.Parking: The place is small in the corner so there isn't a lot of places to park, but the two times I went there was always a spot to park in the front. When I dined in once, about 5 people came in for takeout orders and 4 groups were dine in.Kid-friendliness: I think it's kid friendly because the food is fast.“

“Why do people continue to write reviews of the old orchard yukon. It's been closed for well over a year. The original closure, during covid, was attributed to a lack of food delivery from suppliers. They may have opened for a short time after then but then closed completely without any prior announcement. This is all after being owned by members of the same family for decades on NW 23rd St. in Bethany Okla. The home cooking was exceptional but they are gone for it appears forever, without an explanation. Sad deal“

“The wait was longer than I liked (probably understaffed?) but the kebab plate was pretty decent. Maybe not the most exciting dish but enough vegetables and flavoring in the rice to make it interesting. For Middle Eastern food Dallas is probably better. The Lebanese restaurants are stellar“

“Feels like an old pizzaria walking in (additional parking in the rear with a backdoor entrance), been family run for many decades now and if you're lucky enough the owners will be in and you can chat with them and their deep NY accent. From what I can tell, there are no "pre-determined" pizzas, you just order your size and choose your toppings (not unlimited toppings unless you want to pay extra). They do have a pretty good two slice and a drink lunch special, however be warned, if you want extra toppings it's not only an extra charge per topping, but also PER SLICE - adds up real quick. Pizza came out fresh and piping hot, flavor was fine, but the crust didn't do anything for me.“

“I’m new to OK. I was looking to see what was local and found Danny B’s Pizza shop down the street. I ordered a large Danny B’s Meats and a side of Cesar salad for takeaway. I arrived just as the pizza was coming out of the oven and it looked great. It looked so good I told the lady that I was ready to tear into the pizza box to have a slice. The pizza was good. The the ingredients were tasty and the crust was good. The Cesar salad was ok. I did like that they used plenty of cheese and croutons in the salad because most places fall short. Overall, good pizza and the good service. I’ll be a return customer.“

“I had their chicken Alfredo and it was ABSOLUTELY the best I have ever eaten!! The serving size was more than adequate for the price also. I would highly recommend this place. The only thing I didn't like about it was it was like sitting in a freezer. The outside side temp was 57° and that was warm compared to the 47° inside the restaurant.“

“The wait staff at Abel's is top-notch. They seem to be in good moods every time I'm there and will joke with their guests like you are family. The food is always good. I haven't had anything I didn't like yet. Abel's is the embodiment of "don't judge a book by its cover." On the outside the place looks run down, but it is definitely worth it to eat there.“

“Walking in you can see it's a smaller location. But it still feels open & cozy instead of stuffy. Lighting is where it needs to be & the window also lets light in. The waiting staff is very attentive & ready to take your order. Our server brought out the bean sprouts & Pho in a timely manner. If there's not something you see on the menu then the staff will take a custom order, of course. Not only are the portion sizes robust but they also do not leave you wanting more ingredients. In addition, the seafood in your Pho is plentiful & the steak with veggies are exceptional as well. The broth is seasoned & you can tell that it was cooked for multiple hours. With added cilantro, garlic, & Basil the broth is; dare I say, downright drinkable. This spot is a must if you enjoy Pho & you will most likely have lunch the next day. Pricing is very modest but I would also suggest adding an egg for $2. It was poached to perfection. Thank you to the staff & the chef! This is how much I had left over after I got full & that container is at least 8 inches tall.“

“Been living in the area for about eight years and just recently stopped in to try this great diner.We’ve visited twice now and have enjoyed both visits.The food is delicious and the staff is friendly!The owner stopped by our table on both visits and asked how everything was, shared the story of the restaurant and was very friendly!Our server was great! She actually remembered us on our second visit!My wife had the Reuben sandwich and I had a burger on our first visit. She said it was the best Reuben she’s ever had!On our second visit, she tried a chili dog and I had their “hog” dog. The “Hog Dog” is a bacon wrapped dog that is deep fried and served on a great bun!!Their fries are amazing and the onion rings don’t disappoint!The best way I can describe The Stray Dog is: it is EXACTLY the kind of Route 66 diner that you HOPE to find!Great food, great people and a great atmosphere!Whether you’re a local or just passing through on Route 66, The Stray Dog should definitely be on your list!Highly recommend!(Note: there is parking behind the building so if the spaces out front are taken, just cruise around back!)“

There really is nothing to complain about also something I found wonderful about this place is that you get to keep the cups like it’s souvenir and take them home with you and use them at your house which is pretty cool. The barbecue sauce is good. The food is good. Everything is pretty much good no complaints one of the best barbecue places and no cap. “Old restaurant, and a local staple. Opened in 1973?? Not quite sure, but I know it was the 70’s. Delicious food, and the best crispy fried egg rolls around. There’s a bit of peanut butter in the recipe. Makes a WORLD of difference. Absolutely delicious. Small restaurant with dark lighting. Very quiet and you might end up having the place to yourself, but it’s good. This place actually closed down when the owner retired, but the locals here threw a fit.
