“The wait was longer than I liked (probably understaffed?) but the kebab plate was pretty decent. Maybe not the most exciting dish but enough vegetables and flavoring in the rice to make it interesting. For Middle Eastern food Dallas is probably better. The Lebanese restaurants are stellar“

“The exterior and interior of the location were in good repair. There is some street parking and there is paid parking behind the location. We parked in a grass area next to the paid parking for free. The service was friendly and attentive. Our server, Abbey, was knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations off the menu. The dinner service was smooth. FYI, You have to specify request bread service. The food was fresh and flavorful. The portion sizes were generous. We went to the location for a family members birthday and they gave each of us a little fruit and cream parfait, which was appreciated. I would return to the location and recommend it to others. Getting a reservation ahead of time is a must, at least on the weekend.“

“This place was Eggceptional! First time here with my mom and a family friend. The menu had a large variety of options. The coffee was good. The food took a little while to arrive to our table but it was worth it! The eggs Benedict was good but the hollandaise sauce was amazing. The freshness of the fruit on the side was eggceptional. The French toast and the waffles were cooked perfectly, and so were the eggs. The bacon was a little crispy for my taste, but the other two people whom were with me liked their bacon cooked that way. “This place smells so good when you walk inside - I knew the food was going to be tasty! I ordered 4 Street tacos, chips and salsa, and tres leches cake. Every single thing I had was absolutely delicious!! That tres leches cake was the most delicious cake I've ever had in my life, and that's saying a lot because I've eaten a lot of cake. If you've been passing by this place and wondering if you should try it, you should! You definitely should.“

“The restaurant is cute and has upstairs patio. When we went we waited for about 30 minutes which was good for a Saturday evening. Once we were seated we ordered right away however we waited about an hour for the food to be delivered. We ordered the half and half which was good. The pizza was a little soggy on some pieces. We also ordered the Arnold Palmer excepted sweet tea but it was definitely not sweet tea. I would try again on a week night to see if the wait was any different.“

I have a few minor complaints but nothing that would make me not want to go back - my sommelier was rather.. sweaty.. but he was engaging and interesting and it was toasty humid so I can’t fault him for that! I did the silver (?) wine pairing and they were incredible for the courses they were selected for. To be very clear, I know nothing about wine, but even I could tell how and why one paired better than another depending on the course - of you’re splurging I highly recommend a wine pairing. Otherwise, the person I believe was Chef Black disappeared the last two courses so I was confused about if the meal was over or what was happening but he must trust his staff to handle the desserts (which they did phenomenally). We did the TASTING menu, 10 courses, and each was just a few bites, but so worth it. “THE best food I've ever had - Within the months leading up to eating at Mahogany, I ate at J Alexander's and Vast. Mahogany out did Vast's food 5x and J Alexander's 2x. The waiter at Mahogany was also much more friendly than Vast. All 3 match in scene pretty closely though with Vast on top just because of its 47th floor view. However I pick Mahogany over them all. (Mahogany - get a 47th view floor and you'll have the best restaurant ever created)“

“First of all, my first public interaction of the day is usually walking into a coffee shop, where you can expect to actually feel welcome, except at the red cup if you have the unfortunate fate of having been helped by this certain employee. Instead of feeling welcomed in this coffee shop (the cutest one too with the best vegan food), I'm greeted with glaring eye rolls to my face as I'm saying my coffee order, every time i come. “We had a huge party come in last minute (we estimated 9, it ended up being closer to 16). Our bartender and server, Tatiana, was absolutely amazing and accommodating. It was clear the restaurant was extremely short staffed and she did the best she could to make sure we were all taken care of. She was making drinks, taking orders, delivering food, not just to our table, but to most of the other tables at the restaurant as well. I don't know where the rest of the staff was, as we could see them around, but Tatiana was definitely running the show on her own. We had a member of our party (that we didn't know but just had been invited out of politeness) that started being rude and passive aggressive to Tatiana over an onion allergy (that the kitchen went completely out of their way to accommodate. Who asks for an onion allergy at a burger place??). Tatiana handled his complaint extremely professionally before our table kicked him out and told him to leave. We made sure we took care of her at the end of the night. She needs a raise, a promotion, whatever. I'm a manager and have been in the service industry for over 10 years and this young lady belongs in the service industry. She's polite, friendly, professional. I'd come back just for her.“

“I’ve always wanted to try a real ramen joint and this place blew my expectations away. First off for two people we only paid about $32 with tax and all for two ramen bowls. Keep in mind they are pretty big. Also were playing demon slayer, haikyuu, and TMNT on the wall as with projectors… immediate 5 stars in atmosphere. Our waitress was super sweet and greeted us with the biggest smile. The ramen was perfect. I got the curry ramen and it’s safe to say I will be back if/when I get the chance“

“This is not a paid review, I'm simply a verbous bibliophile.The Full Circle bookstore by Pen Square mall is an amazing little bookstore. Upon entry, I immediatly exhale/inhale deeply. My lungs fill with the sweet nostalgia of bound paper. Tones of wood-smoke mingle with the aroma of ground coffee and the musky scent of bound paper. Bookshelves tall enough to need rolling create private nooks, without becoming a maze. “I thought the food was good but just not great. The menu described the biscuits as flaky but I found mine to be hard on all edges. The gravy on the biscuits didn’t even cover half of them but it tasted great. I just had higher expectations so that probably was part of the problem.“

“This is definitely a hidden gem. We got the nachos and then several of the tacos to try. Solid value for the price. Nachos were very large and tasty. Salsa is different and served warm. It was a nice different and tasty treat. The taco that sounded like pitbull was my favorite. The asada taco just melted in my mouth. Staff says they were shorted handed but they took good care of us. My only gripe was no iced tea but oh well it won't stop me from coming back.“
