“What a nice sunny warm winter day to take a spin to Tahlequah. Add fantastic authentic traditional food from Jose’s Mexican Restaurant and it doesn’t get much better.Jose’s is located on the east side of the S. Muskogee Ave. on Monroe. The restaurants had been in business for quite a few years. The locals know where it is. Google search pays off for those of us that don’t.Jose’s menu is small, with all the right stuff. Tacos, Gorditas, Sopes, Burritos, Enchiladas, Tortas and a good selection of meats. All that you need and nothing that you don’t for authentic Mexican food. Three sopes for me and my wife got the enchilada plate. We ordered barbacoa for both meals. I added a small queso, salsa and chips. They cost extra. They are worth it. The sopes were excellent, very filling. Two would have been enough. The red sauce on my wife’s enchiladas was the real deal traditional red chili sauce. The barbacoa was well seasoned, tender chunks of beef. Salsa wise, the mild was fair, the picante had bite and flavor, the queso excellent and the green was world class delicious. The green salsa was served warm and it was wonderful!Excellent authentic food, served fresh, good service, order at the counter. “Didn't get a photo of our main dishes because we chowed!! We've been meaning to stop here for awhile but finally did on a Friday for lunch and we were blown away, It might just be our new go to Mexican place.We bought our two teenage boys back Saturday night to eat. They loved it too.Now, I will send a word of caution, they are understaffed and a bit slow to fill your drinks, get your chips refilled but they make up for it in being so nice and the food is really amazing. That is the only thing keeping it from a 5 star. You just have to be patient and not be in a hurry. We said next time we're taking some cards! LOLI had the Woodall Enchiladas, very good. Wife had the fajitas, boys had chicken chori and something with chicken and rice. They both liked their meal.We also had the strawberry nachos, wow very good. Highly recommended.“
“Clean, staff very friendly and quick to serve you and get the food out. Food is good, wish the chips weren't so thick and kind of hard to chew, wish they were lighter and crispy but other than that experiences have always good. Burrito supreme is as large as the plate!“
“This place has great quality food. It's flavorful and seems fresh. Pretty quick, too. I've tried a few Mexican spots in Tahlequah, and this is probably my favorite. Mostly due to the speed, and ability to get tasteful food via drive-thru during a lunch break.“

It makes it:s.comfortable to wait for my delivery order.*I also know this tonight they have a really beautiful patio area It looks like the best place to hang out in the spring orsummer.... “The food at Cantina Bravo is outstanding, You will not regret spending your money here. Juan our server was so nice and, got our food to my family in less than 10 minutes and as a family of five let me tell you that is pretty fast. The overall atmosphere of the place is amazing they have cool and unique paintings all over the walls and tv's all over the place streaming all of the soccer games and, it is actually very clean environment so I didn't feel disgusted. So all in all this place is amazing it has everything from great food to great service to an amazing clean atmosphere. YOU NEED TO COME HERE!!!!“
“Pretty good. My friend and I just walked in and I loved it. This was a nice find after long day on the river. I met the owner and she was a very lovely lady who was not afraid of doing work. I love that. She served our dishes and refilled our Dos Equis. I will be back to this restaurant with more people.“
“We ate here a few years ago when my daughter was in college there. It was great then & we were very happy to discover on a recent trip to Tahlequah for a medical appointment that it was still as good... Maybe even better! Everything we have had there has been outstanding!“
“My family ordered here while visiting from Okc. We had a great experience, we ordered 8 items and modified everything since we are vegan we had to substitute a lot of things. Once we pulled up to the window we were given our total and handed him the cash he handed us our food along with our change due. It was extremely fast we had ordered our food literally 2 mind before. Everything was made correctly and hot and fresh! I also ran in to use the restroom and the inside including the bathroom were very clean!“
“Service was fast, cheese enchilada and beans were good, and overall meal was decent. The salsa tasted like tomato puree and I needed to request the hot salsa just to taste any heat, then mixed the rice with salsa for a bit more flavor. The beef soft toco had some pink meat and wasn't as good as the steak soft toco I've had here before.“
