“I was really yearning for some Italian ice we had years ago in Pittsburgh, even mentioning Rita’s by name. I looked up on google maps and only a year late I found that we now have a Rita’s. Yummy! Try the gelati (ice and custard) and the 4 ice option. Start with the original lemon and especially cherry flavors but try the others as well. We’ll be back soon (well before next year)!“

Also bottled and fountain drinks, the selection is excellent and includes regional sodas not normally found in Oklahoma. There is also gelato and an old school video and pinball arcade. “I came here with some friends recently after school. We spilt a pepperoni pizza and a pint of cookies and cream Gelato.While I'm not the biggest fan of pepperoni, my friends loved it, I was giving them my pieces. The cheese is the real cheese, all stringy and everything. It actually was cooked by a fire which left it kinda greasy but still fresh.It was my second time ever having Gelato and i loved it! If you're gonna split a pint between three high schoolers, it's gonna be gone quick lol.The atmosphere was really nice, it's definitely a good spot to chat with friends, or take the family to hang out.Another one of my friends came and joined us, he bought garlic knots that did not last a minute. The garlic oil/sauce was amazing and I would've drank it straight from the bottle. “This place is cute on the inside. All pink and has a few decors... it reminds me of an oldie ice cream shop back in the 80s where a jukebox would be playing music. They have a walk up window and a few tables outside too. It would nice to sit out here and just watch this area happen. Menu had a variety of things from floats, ice cream sandwiches to just regular ice cream on a cone or in a cup. They are pretty expensive though. I ordered a single chocolate in a cup for my son and it was over $4. The ice cream was good though. They also had drinks in a cooler to buy from and merchandise too. There is a bar top to sit and enjoy your sweets and a few tables inside. They take credit cards and cash but no $100 bills. The staff was nice and the service was quick. We ordered a few things and everyone loved their ice cream.“

“Andy's is the frozen custard version of Dairy Queen or Braum's. They have a few branches around the city including this place along Pennsylvania near Quail Springs. Opening hours are 11am to 11.30pm daily. They have walk-in and drive through, menu is fairly comprehensive and can require a few minutes to familiarise if visiting for the first time. Stopped by this branch and ordered a medium James Brownie Funky Jackhammer, forgetting that medium in the States translates to extra large in Asia. This was large serving of very good vanilla custard with some brownie bits, fudge and creamy peanut butter, very rich, flavourful and sinfully good. Would be happy to order the same or try something new but would go with more manageable small size.“

“I used to go to yogurtland all the time, After they closed I never really found anything like it. I happen to be in the area and saw this place. It's almost the identical setup as most frozen yogurt places. They had enough variety in flavors that it would justify coming back to check out other flavors and limited time flavors. The toppings options were plenty and you really get to mix and match to make whatever you want. I really like the feature of the pull down bar to automatically combine two flavors next to eachother. I saw you can also order cakes as well. I definitely will be back, my only complaint would be the space might be a bit small for such a high traffic area. People crowded in and it got hectic where people are running by you and running into you.“

“We recently dropped in on a Thursday evening. The two girls who were working were very helpful and provided great customer service with free samples and suggestions. “Braums has great food, the best milk, and great customer service. I can't even drink the stuff you get at Walmart or Homeland, because it starts rotting at least a week before its expiration date. Braums milk is much better on digestion, better taste, and lasts longer. The fries were lukewarm and there was no ice in my drink and it was very watered down.Vegetarian options: They have wonderful salads!Dietary restrictions: If salt is an issue ask for no salt on your fries and they will make you fresh fries.Parking: Plenty of parking with just a few handicapped spots.Kid-friendliness: Sizes and portions are good on the kids meals and ice they have everything from a junior dip to a banana split!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and entrance are wheelchair accessible.“

There was a language barrier when I was placed my order as well as they kept repeating back the wrong thing over and over. At least they got it right in the end.“

“They make a solid elote en vaso, or Mexican-style fresh corn in a cup. I crave the stuff...So simple, sweet and savory, one of my favorite ways to eat sweet corn. This is not your canned corn esquites, rather it's carved fresh from boiled cobs. Sure, I prefer elote on the cob, coal/bbq grilled is even better. But a cup is a lot easier to manage while driving. A small cup was $4, and while they leave too much pot water in it, they make up for it by layering in a lot of cotija cheese -- more than the competition does. I left off the dab of hot sauce so my kiddos could try it, but a little spice would have been nicer. I'm used to Tajin/chile powder instead, but none was offered. They also offer other snack foods like ice cream, aguas frescas (popular here), even a fermented Mexican drink with an interesting sounding name I've never heard of before. One bummer, their front window and store sign both prominently show street tacos, but they regretfully informed me they only grill at their other location. It is a popular lunch spot with locals, and I can see myself stopping in again on a whim.“

I got the cheeseburger with some potato wedges and for dessert, pound cake Al a mode. I will never not go here. So glad it is still around in midtown!
