“This place is so cute! I'm amazed I have not tried it before or that it hasn't popped up in my searches. I got the Alligator, which had a bit of fried crunch inside, plus some yellowtail, salmon, and tuna nigiri. Wad excellent and excellent service.“

“The food here was delicious, we ordered multiple dishes to try out. It was quite enjoyable! The homey, darker interior was nice. There were so many photos and tapestries regarding Japanese culture.Takoyaki is my favorite street food! So of course we ordered it, and it was delicious!Udon was great, but too much onion (a whole cut up onion) was in the soup and that kind of knocked it down a peg for us all.Curry with katsu pork -amazing, tastes like the kind we make at home.Sushi was great, we had a few different kind so I can't remember the names. All in all, what a nice hidden gem! It doesn't come up easily when searching for this type of food. We took a chance and it was near perfect! To note- always make a reservation. We did, because I'm used to doing that anyway, and it was packed the entire time we were there. Not once was there a free spot to sit.“

“Very good sushi spot! Everyone was very kind. You choose your own seating and they'll provide a utensil caddy (very handy) and menu too! The titanic roll was my favorite! Excellent food through and through! Would def recommend to visit as they have many specials to choose from (we got the spring rolls for free when we spent a certain amount) and reasonable combo pricing. Will be coming back for sure“

“Getting back on yelp-- updating review because have been back since my last review and they have stepped up their service tremendously. Have replaced my steak when it came out over cooked and apologized for it. Still dim and intimate, great patio when weather is nice.“

“We ate a late lunch around 2 on a Wednesday.I had a poke sushi bowl with salmon, shrimp, crab meat, avocado, cucumbers, and more stuff on rice. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the savory Florentine crepe with fresh spinach, avocado and more of the same fabulous ingredients and truly enjoyed it.For dessert we shared a peach crepe that was the perfect ending to our meal. The restaurant is quite small, fewer than 20 seats and probably does a good take-out business, but we were the only customers at the odd time we visited. The place was extremely clean out front and smelled fresh and not "fishy" like some places that are dirty and have ingredients that are inedible. The staff, (I suspect she was the owner), was friendly, answered our questions, and seemed genuinely happy to have us.“

“Wife and I went on a quick date night. This place upon entry is pretty plain, like there's not a lot of decoration or whatever. The variety of sushi and hamburger combinations are pretty interesting and unique ain't gonna lie. Tried there crab ragoons, love the flakiness of the ragoon and how crispy it is, just wish they had more stuffing in them. Got the crazy ramen burger which has a ramen bun, a runny egg arugula and some special sauce. The meat needed some seasoning to it, it was pretty bland and almost had the look of turkey or veggie burger. Also there's reason they give you a knife a fork with it cause it's pretty dog gone messy. The staff was top notch when it comes to attentive service. Gonna try the hulk roll next time, overall not bad but would look to try other things.“

“Reliable, reasonable priced sushi and poke bowls. A little hidden gem, fast paced sushi restaurant. Called for take out and they were quick to have order prepared. Ambiance is typical whole in the wall, with some sprucing up. There were only 2 people working so I wouldn't expect much in terms of service. But they've kept their prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend giving this place a try! Only thing I don't recommend is the fresh salmon spring roll, it was stringy We ordered: Tuna and salmon poke bowl Aloha poke bowl Cajun roll Lady love Salmon spring“

“This place was very good! Food, service, all of it! We ordered poke bowls and a tempura appetizer. I have a bad mammal & dairy allergy and when I mentioned it to our waitress while ordering, she was very thorough in making sure what I ordered was safe, making suggestions for sauces and such as it was our first time. We will definitely be back.“

“The food was spectacular and the ambiance was beautiful! My personal highlights from our dinner lineup: the Monkey Brain appetizer and the Hungry Roll. Also our server, Jenna, was patient, friendly, helpful with selections, and provided all around amazing at service! This was our first visit & I know we'll be back!“

“I am almost a monthly regular here. On initial discovery, the food can seem a little pricey looking at the menu, but once my husband and I ate here we realized it was totally worth it and the ingredients were prepared to burst with flavor with good cuts and quantity of meat/food. The flavor is always perfect every time, and the food tastes homemade. We both always get either the teriyaki beef bowl or the beef yakiniku beef po'boy. The owner and the waitstaff are always kind.“

“It was okay. If you've been to a Volcano Sushi Bar, well, here is another Volcano Sushi bar. They are just above mid grade and about 1 buck over on all their prices, and the sushi doesn't come out quite at that perfect serving temperature. I mean I could keep going, and label the positives as well, it is what it is.“

“Been eating here for years and it’s great! I always go here for the lunch specials when I’m in this part of town, and when my family comes to visit they ALWAYS request that we go here. My mom can never remember the name and even asks if we can go to “Amazing Thai” ? we love this place!“

“Came to this place for an anniversary dinner. We loved it and will definitely be back. You can find parking for this place on Broadway right next to the Hatch. It is a small lot shared by both places. This place has a very beautiful modern aesthetic. We had a reservation and got seated right away. When we got to our table, there was a card that had been handwritten that read "Happy Anniversary". Really nice personable touch. The food was delicious. Shared the oysters and the N.O.L.A roll to start. It was fresh tasting seafood. Chophouse salad was split between the both of us. Evenly coated in dressing with hints of blue cheese and bacon bits. The filet picture doesn't do it justice. Ordered it with chimichurri. It was cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed it. The smoked Gouda mashed potatoes and bacon brussel sprouts were also fantastic. The restaurant went above and beyond to make it a great experience due to our special occasion. The ended the night by surprising us with a free creme brulee.“

“Cafe de Taipei has a new menu and it doesn't disappoint! In addition to sushi rolls they have some Taiwanese fare like popcorn chicken and also jjajangmyun. Their boba milk tea selections are always on point and made extra fresh. Definitely check out their new menu!“

“My fav sushi in OKC. Happy hour is 3-5PM. Rolls are great, they don't fall apart. Also the rolls were perfectly bite sized. All of the food was delicious and fresh. The staff checked on us multiple times. The restaurant was clean, smelled good, bathrooms were clean. Also had some nice jams (music) playing... it's a social vibe but I wasn't overwhelmed by everyone talking. 2 soups, 3 rolls and an appetizer with 2 drinks for only $40. Worth it“

“Great food, but the service was sub par. The server always seems like she is always in a bad mood and has better stuff to do. More than once I had to go find her for another order or even to get refills on drinks. Only to find her at one of the tables on her phone... If you dont mind that, the food is always fresh and delicious.“

“The food was good and the service was great. That said, it was a little pricey for lunch. I ordered a Bento box at $15 off the lunch menu, and I’ve basically gotten the same thing from other restaurants for $10. Two meals, two drinks, and a regular sushi roll cost $50 - an expensive lunch for two people (which ended being $60 with tip). I wish the lunch menu was more comprehensive.“

“How does this place only have 4.5 stars? I went with 2 friends and we ordered 6 different kinds of rolls to share and not one of them was even a basic flavor, everything was delicious and our server Tesh was a lot of fun and super nice, the ambience of the interior was really nice as well. 100% will go again.“

“Amazing dinner with an amazing chef the only thing was it was our anniversary dinner and we were sat next to a huge group that was extremely loud, we ended up just taking what was left home instead. Will definitely be coming back again, won't let that detour us from amazing food!“

“As always, food is excellent & my go to place for jap food. However, service was kind of slow maybe the server was new. Our entree arrived before the miso soup. Miss the little White House but the new restaurant is very modern & the bathroom is clean.“

“We were very impressed with our experience here! The food we ordered (hibachi lunches) was very good. My husband ordered steak and I ordered chicken. Michael our service was incredible. I mentioned I have a dairy and mammal allergy (so beef/pork/etc) and he made sure everything I was brought was safe for me to eat. He asked the kitchen questions and made suggestions for sauces and such, and he even asked the kitchen to make me fresh fried rice without butter. I felt very well taken care of there and we will be back for sure. For anyone with allergies thinking of going - I would like to add that he mentioned he was able to make all these accommodations because it was a slow lunch time, and that during busy times like dinner, they normally cannot make these special requests. Just so you don’t show up at dinner and them not able to accommodate you because it’s so busy!“

“My wife and I on a spur of the moment chose this place to settle a craving for sushi. We pulled up to this little establishment in a smaller strip mall off of NW Expressway in OKC. We walked in to an empty restaurant but immediately the staff jumped into action. Super courteous, quick, and efficiently asked us if we would be dining in or if it was take-out. We were dining in so we were seated quickly anywhere (obviously) that we wanted to sit. We chose a booth and our waitress immediately placed menus, utensils, and took our drink orders. We got our drinks in what felt like seconds, we got a complimentary clear soups (which were delicious and Hot!) and ordered an appetizer (crab-Rangoon). They brought it out after maybe 5 minutes or so and they were plated beautifully with a sweet and sour sauce on the side, they were hot, tender on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Perfect. (see picture!) We shortly after ordered two different sets of sushi (OKC roll & Captain Crunch roll) and a side of fried rice. Maybe 10/15 minutes later all of the food arrived, perfectly hot rice, and a beautiful set of sushi plated on a really cool bridge! (See picture). Everything was the perfect temperature and so very flavorful! We will most definitely be coming back in the future.“
