“Had dinner tonight with the wifey. I had Tandoori Masala wings, wife had double dipped Honey something, both were really good. Wings were cooked just right and are a good size. Seasoned fries were very good and everything was served hot. Only things on the wish list, post the wifi password somewhere, and the menu is a bit hard to read. Recommended for dinner for sure and I can't wait to see some bands!“
“Westney's Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in town. I took my wife and daughter there, we ordered a burger meal it was very juicy and it was homemade, we also ordered a poutine which was very pleasant and we ordered pasta which was very creamy and delicious. The place is very neat amd it looks lovely when you walk in. “I had such a great experience! The server Ashley was great. She made my day and made me smiled a lot. My partner and I ordered the spinach dip which was a HIT and a great and generous portion size! My partner also wanted garlic parm wings that was not on the menu. Our server Ashley said she can make some for him and he loved the wings! She is literally the best her vibes were amazing! I also ordered a veggie mushroom burger but I didn’t take a photo because I ate it too fast lol ! Good experience will come again!“
“Always so busy! It's hard to pay that much when it's just like any other restaurant. The Keg used to be different. You felt important. The staff seem slammed all the time. The quality of food has declined as well. Blackened chicken wasn't that at all, and seemed rushed. Once a group of 5 of us went out for a friend's birthday. When we mentioned it to our server, he exclaimed that the Billy Miner pie would be there for us at the end of the meal to celebrate our friend. He mentioned it again later as well but to our surprise the dessert was on the bill! We didn't say anything, because we didn't want to ask for a freebie, even though it's pretty standard practice - Keg? Birthday? Billy Miner for your birthday. it was disappointing that's all.“
“Was recently at a hockey tournament in the area and the team wanted a lunch. We had made a reservation and were there mid afternoon during a slow time. We had 1 dedicated server who was friendly, helpful and very patient with all the kids in tow. We're not from Oshawa just happened to come across the Crooked Uncle on Google...but when I phoned to ask about food allergies I was greeted by the most lovely welcoming employee! She was able to answer our questions on the phone and we LOVED having Kelly as our waitress! “Went for lunch on a Sunday with a party of 12. I made reservations the day before. No problem accommodating our party size. Food is fresh and tasty. All the plates came out at the same time. Great experience. Note, pricing is in line with others and They are always willing to cater to unique dietary needs. Love the steak sandwich and the Thai curry bowl. Highly recommend.“

You have an option of the dip with tortillas, pita chips or both.The ambience was great, plenty of places to sit without feeling overcrowded. plenty of parking and access to public transit (DRT and GoBus stops are a short walk away).we spent about $13 each on the food and $7 for every pint (or whatever it was) on beer. Worth it.Vegetarian options: Some decent veggie options. If you’re here to get a snack or something to nibble with your drink, it’s decent. “Met here for a business meeting. It was quiet for a Monday at lunch which was great for us. Our server Rose was very kind and attentive. I had the fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. You know its a popular place when there a number of regulars always there. So good I have been back 5 times over the last couple of months. “I had a great experience here! The server we had was named Laura and she was amazing and kind.First off we got the Margherita flatbread we asked for it well done. It was so good. We got garlicaioli sauce to dip it with the flatbread. Our server Laura recommend this non alcoholic drink it was delicious!I got the veggie burger well done with no cheese which tasted good and my partner got the chicken tenders with fries.
