“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.”

It all started when my wife would leave for her over night shift and I’d have a couple of my pals over for Greco Roman wrestling night. My kids would hear the grunts and groans but they never believed me that we were just wrestling. I started bringing home ice caps to show them I was hip and cool but the addiction got so bad. Like many of you, I downloaded grinder and started meeting up with men for coffees and such. Long story short my wife has full custody of the kids and I have to move out in 2 weeks. Anyone want to meet up for a coffee?”

“I visited this Tim Hortons location around 4:00 AM and was truly impressed by the service and preparation. The showcase was fully stocked with fresh donuts, Timbits, and breakfast items, which was remarkable for such an early hour.

There was only one staff member on duty, an Indian girl named Sandy (as I recall), who was efficiently managing all tasks — baking, serving food, and preparing drinks. Despite being alone, she remained professional, friendly, and extremely helpful, even assisting me in selecting the donuts.

I purchased a dozen donuts and some drinks, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. I had also visited two other Tim Hortons locations earlier, but neither was ready with donuts at that time.

Sandy’s dedication, efficiency, and positive attitude truly stood out. Staff members like her deserve recognition for their exceptional service and commitment. #She made my day for Friday morning...”

We ordered fish tacos and enmoladas for our main course which were absolutely delicious and came out really quick even with the 3 large parties they had. All the staff and our server were super friendly as well 😊 I tried 3 different cocktails which were all made perfectly and we stayed for dessert which we don’t normally have but the atmosphere was excellent and we were having a great time! Would highly recommend for a date night and will definitely be back soon!”

We explored the entire back door of the brewery and saw how their drinks and products are made, the history and some other near facts.
The restaurant is pretty hip, their beers are packaged in very artistic and abstract Designs which are very eye catching. It's worth stopping by Flying Monkeys if you're visiting the Barrie area!”

Our server went above and beyond any service we have received back home. even heard her communicate with the chef directly, and when an ingredient wasnt available, instead of taking it off the menu for the day, someone ran out and actually picked up said ingredient .. top notch guest service! “The funny thing is that I have lived in Barrie for seven years but have never gone to the Bull and Barrel Pub until today. It is an old fashioned British pub with regal decor that makes people feel comfortable as soon as they step in. I decided to get their meatball soup with their fish and chips. The soup was certainly needed as we had our first snow fall of the year. It had enough meat in it and the meatballs were bite size with just enough spice in the soup. On to the main, the fish was absolutely perfect flaky and full of flavour with just enough tartar sauce and malt vinegar (the proper way to add to bring out the flavor of the fish.the chips were prepared well a bit of crunch on the outside but fluffyon the outside. The price was very reasonable. I did want to mention the service. the young lady was polite, professional and very efficient. While it was not busy , service was very prompt. I forgot to get the sticky toffee pudding though. I will definitely be back . I hear they have an old fashioned rast beef dinner on Sunday i may have to check that out .”

On your birthday they give you a free dessert, if you are a member. However, ours initially didn't work but the manager overrode so we could get the free dessert.”

“It's getting super expensive and this one felt like a nursing home cafeteria. One slice of tomato is 50c. I ordered 3 ona. Burger for $1.50. they are thin and probably 10 per tomato. That makes it a $5 tomato. I can't imagine any restaurant makes that much margin. This clown knows his game.”

“Heard rumblings about this place being good. Came in for lunch and wasn’t disappointed at all. Ordered their Sashimi sampler, a Galbi lunch special, and their Sunny Roll.

The sashimi was huge and well cut, just absolutely tasty. The galbi was perfect, clearly smoked and tasted better than half the places I’ve had it in Seoul. Their specialty rolls are massive and so delicious.

Perfect place to go if you’re craving Japanese or Korean. I crave both very often, so I’ll easily be back.”
