“Hello, I found myself thinking of a burger I had there 5 days ago. Thats right 5 days later it was that good! Sure, it is a little run down but who cares as long as it's clean, which it was. FYI - You can get a burger at 21 places on Bayfield St (North of the 400 to Springwater) this is one of the best.“
“Great portion size. Great food!Just to update my experience....My wife and I have been going to all our old spots since COVID and the fairly recent inflation thing started changing our lives. We have noticed negative changes at all our most frequented spots. The usual mix of shrinkflation activities are happening all over. The change of plate size and shape at Wimpy's and others and the price increasing at the same time. The amount of food decreasing for most every place including Swiss Chalet , McDonald's, Subway etc and the prices continuing to climb.Listen I'm ok with prices going up a little if I am still getting the same amount of food as well as quality and service. I don't agree with paying more for less.This is where Cora's comes in........Haven't been here since before COVID and went today.I was expecting to have something to complain about because I have not had an experience since COVID where something hasn't changed for the bad like the other places I have visited.I am VERY PLEASED to say that Cora's has given me nothing to complain about. First time in about 3 years of dining out at OTHER places.The portions were great and the prices were fair. I'm a basic peameal and eggs person and it was more than comparable to anywhere else in Barrie for price. The portions though were substantially bigger and the 3 egg with a meat choice is hands down the best value in the city of Barrie. The service was exceptional as well, never had an empty coffee cup or water glass.Thank you Cora's and your staff for rejuvenating my faith in the eating out experience. Thank goodness you stuck to what got you here in the first place. It was so good , I don't even know if your prices increased and if they did that's ok.....it is still the best value/portion for my money.Thanks“
“Midway has been around a long time is a great place for breakfast. Situated close to downtown and has some parking in the back or on the street. Always a place to consider in the downtown area for chow.Parking: Several spots out back and some on the street next to the main entrance.“
“Found this little gem by accident. Kids go to school close by so we stumbled upon Debbs Place one day dropping the kids to school. Today we hit it up before getting the kids from school. Its only open til 2pm daily. Whole place probably site just over 100 ppl. Wasnt rushed out at all when we weren't finished by 2pm.Super friendly staff. Had a great server named Katlyn! Knowledgeable, friendly. Big smile the whole time. Small town kind of feeling. Very welcoming atmosphere. Other lady who greeted us when we came in was very outgoing and friendly aswell.The broccoli and cheese soup was one of the BEST I've had ever. Its my go to soup flavor. Not watery or mushy pieces of broccoli. Nice thick flavorful soup.Felt prices were a little high for the mediocre food. The mashed potatoes were like refrigerated and not redone to be served. The hollandaise on my eggs benny was watery n the flavor was very weak. The English muffin wasn't toasted so it was very mushy. The soup was to die for. So as much as this quaint little spot is kind of mom and pop ish. The cook is producing food that doesn't match the servers personality or something. I'm not sure wats going on there. Such great attitudes and service yet the kitchen seems to lack the same love. Too bad. If they were in sync this place would be off the chain 5 STARS! You have to pick n chose ur items i guess. I would go back for the soup and atmosphere for sure. Its a little hit or miss food quality wise. Might encourage my oldest child to put in a resume for the kitchen. Lol he has the love for the food this place is lacking. Try them out! It was far from a bad experience.“
“The food is fabulous. Glad that they have an entire section of vegan food with some gluten-free options. They don't seem to be consistent with their prices when it comes to making modifications due to dietary restrictions. They can get a little bit pricey. However it is delicious.Vegetarian options: Fair size vegan section in the menu.Dietary restrictions: Wish they had a few more gluten-free options in the vegan section.“
“Food was terrific, but I would have preferred my farmer sausages to be hot, not luke warm when they arrived. Sautéed onions should be just that sautéed not just raw onion pieces. The rest of the breakfast was delicious. Now the service is not so great, my waitress never came back to see if my food was okay, she never came back to refill my coffee until I was finished with my breakfast, come to think of it another lovely waitress refilled my coffee. Then my waitress just dropped off the check and left, not returning with the machine, so I paid cash and left. Overall, I experienced my waitress not very interested in her job. It was breakfast on a Saturday morning at 0730 hrs, and it was not that busy yet, so no excuse.I may return to this establishment as I've had previous wait staff that were extraordinary.“

As expected, I had a great experience and friendly staff with the order, Natalie helped me making my order and the taste was fantastic too! Ample parking space and pocket friendly options. “This place I feel gets overlooked. Diner style restaurants are not as common anymore. Gibby Gs is a very welcoming location and the prices are more than fair. Highly recommend the turkey club and the soup of the day is normally always on point.“
