Example- Haloumi, Sausage both have high salts and makes the dish have high salts due to its preservation, so the final pan breakfast tastes very salty and that too with mushrooms which have umami flavours...Better try poached or Benedict eggs or simply order ur choice of eggs with pancakes.“

“Huge portion for the price you pay. I ordered a Havarti Beef Melt ($20) with a side of fries. The sandwich was presented with both sides facing up, so I thought a little weird for a sandwich to be opened but I totally understand why... they were a hefty portion. The beef brisket was tender, and saucy, just the right amount of salt to flavour it up. It would have been better if the Havarti cheese slice (THICK!!!) was more melty. Fries were crispy and pretty thick cut. Overall if you work around this area, Mr Nick's wouldn't be a stranger to you. But definitely worth a try!“

“We hosted a post wedding brunch for 37 people at this restaurant. Our wedding was held at Toronto Pearson Convention Centre and was the closest restaurant to hold the event.This restaurant is not fancy, decor is minimal, it is a local diner, food prepared fresh; a homestyle menu. The staff was easy to work with, we discussed a standard menu of 2 eggs, choice of ham, bacon or sausage, toast, home fries, with avocado and tomato slices. I should have realized that when I ate I had 3 eggs not 2, that they forgot our agreed upon menu. The cooks were so sweet and passionate about serving us, I could not begrudge the extra price of the avocado that was suppose to be a substitute for the egg. Each person got 1/2 an avocado so all is well. I just would suggest if having an event for a group be clear in your expectations.The portions were substantial, the food came out hot, with a self serve coffee and Tetley tea option. The restaurant had a regular stream of customers, so we had booked the back section of the restaurant for our group. The owners only required 3 days notice to confirm numbers which is helpful because you sometimes invitation lists can fluctuate greatly.I also wanted to mention that they did not include a gratuity automatically. Often with groups over 8 they include the tip. It was nice to have that flexibility to decide how generous we wanted to be. Definitely a nice spot to gather without all the fuss or hassel.“

Our breakfasts were hot, fresh and tasty. The menu has something for everyone! I especially enjoy the French toast and the P+S potatoes. this is my new favourite breakfast spot!
