“I didn’t know what to expect prior to ordering. I can verify the food quality is 5 stars, along with the service, and the variety of choices. The shrimp fried rice was flavorful, chopsticks are not included or available (fyi). I’m not a fan of spicy foods, they have many options w/wo spice. I will definitely return to try more dishes.“
“I felt like a roti on my way back to Ottawa and was in the Brampton area. I googled “Trini” roti places and this popped up. Ordered the goat roti hot, doubles hot and some pholourie( tamarind sauce so good) Everything was on point, try not to judge based on the look of the place. “My husband and i came here to get a quick dinner. They were absolutely amazing people! We became friends with the owner and a regular customer we felt like we've know them forever! We had a couple of drinks with them too! The food was fresh and amazing! Originally when we called them they didn't answer but the owner called us back within two minutes. “Good traditional doubles place with good flavour and good value. We always get the chicken boneless, goat roti. Son loves the fried fish roti.Medium is quite hot for non-spice heads, mild is ok for children who ate spicy food before.The snacks and drinks from Trinidad and Tobago are good priced 1-3 $, the staff is always really kind.“
“Our family has been going here for 20+years. Family run business, owners are great, treat us like family. Food is always fresh, whether we pre-order or drop in. it always taste the same, consistent for 20+years. “The food was absolutely fantastic. I really loved it. We got a chicken sandwich and it was delicious. We also got fries and they were ok. Not the best fries I've ever had, but still serviceable. The restaurant itself is more a fast food style, and not a proper sit down restaurant which is great if you're grabbing a quick bite. “I have ordered many times from Betta Jerk pickup or delivery and I don't find any fault. The food is tasty season to perfection, and the mannish water soup on Fridays takes me back to Jamaica. Now I am ordering more often because my house is under construction, you better believe it, if don't go in the week because I cook, but on Fridays I could never miss my mannish water. ????“
