“First time here, ordered #47 for takeout. Chowmein noodles with shrimp, char siu pork, tender beef with a quarter fried chicken leg on top. Very tasty meal. Love the hot sauce (not for the weak). Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu. This is Guyanese style Chinese food.“
“This place is OG awesome. Great food and great prices. If you want a place with tablecloths and wine glasses then go elsewhere because this place only serves awesome meals quickly with no fuss. All the imperfections are what make it a great authentic place.“
“Came for lunch around 2:00pm on a Tuesday, lunch is usually from 11:30-1:00, but there was still fresh food coming out, just less options. It's take out buffet style, so you fill up your own container with whatever options you like, then at the counter the nice lady looks at it and charges you based on what you got. Everything I got today was super affordable compared to other Chinese food places around. They have multiple types of chicken, beef, shrimp, noodles, rice, vegetables and other items and everything is super flavorful. Recommend coming here if you are in the area! Will be back!“
“This was our first time coming here, we were in the area & felt like Chinese food. The food was delicious, it was fresh, hot, good portion sizes. The service was nor bad, a little bit slow in terms of not everything coming out at the same time. We loved the atmosphere, very authentic feeling. We saw on Google that they had Dim Sum but when we went they didn't give us a Menu. This could be because it's only sold at certain times. We weren't too sure, but we found items that we wanted & they were all delicious. A bit pricey, but we would go back.“
“It's really good. Hey Noodles is celebrating their 8th location opening, offering $1 soup noodles. They are a fast casual sit down that offers up Sichuan style Street fareI opted for the street noodles which they normally charge $7.99. I asked for EXTRA SPICY because, as the saying goes, if it doesn't burn, you'll never learn. The broth had all my senses tingling like Tobey McGuire. It was savory, spicy, and had deep earthy aromatics. The noodles were springy, had the right thickness and soaked up all the flavor of the broth without getting soggy. And the crazy party is, you can get unlimited FREE noodle refills. It's so difficult to explain how satisfying this seemingly simple dish was. This is nothing else like this so definitely give it a try.I post on social media as Famous_Dave. Try to find me and follow for more.“
“Great experience for birthday, the servers mamta and niku were equally as amazing as the food, various options, attention from the general manager! Hot food! What else do you needGreat service as a buffet !Thank you for great birthday surprise ?“
“Had a fantastic dining experience at Mandarin buffet! The food was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The ambiance was pleasant and inviting. Special thanks to Sakar for providing excellent service throughout our meal, always attentive and friendly. Kritika also deserves a mention for ensuring our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend Mandarin for a satisfying buffet experience!“
“Louisa and I have been coming to this Mandarin for several years. It’s not only for the delicious food but the staff is fantastic especially Kelly and Yan . Amazing kind and prompt service always with a smile. That why we eat at the Mandarin Woodbridge. Keep on hiring quality staff.Alberto & Louisa Giovannetti“
“Ronica was very friendly with great customer service explaining the menu items for first timer and very accommodative to non spicy level at place like Szechuan place. Food was great with lots of veggies! Will certainly come back to try other menu items.“
“Service was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and attentive! The food selections were varied and everything tasted great. There’s even tips on how long certain things should cook for on the paper on the table the sauce bar was extensive as well as the few ready-made foods and desserts. I only have dessert pics to share though as that was the highlight which ended off my experience haha ??“
“Mandarin is a good spot to join and celebrate an event with the family. Tons of food and good atmosphere. I would recommend going during the crab event. The roast beef is actually really good if you can get it fresh. They have excellent number of desserts.“
“Great dinner at Mandarin Yonge to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival. This visit we tried a few new items fro the Small Eats. The teriyaki salmon, teriyaki meatballs and tofu were delicious. Salmon was cooked to perfection. As always Paddy and our server Amy made our evening extra special. Looking forward to our next visit.“
“The place is very clean and parking is easy.Food is normal and acceptable. The fried tofu and couple's lung slices are particularly delicious. The tofu is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, juicy and delicious. Both husband and wife's beef slices are available, but this one tastes particularly fragrant. Maybe it's the effect of some chili oil, but it doesn't taste too bad when you eat it, and it doesn't make you feel greasy. The price is almost worth it. Two people ordered three rice noodles and a bowl of vermicelli and there was a big bag of skewers, which cost $75 including tips.Jenny's service attitude is so good.Place is decent and finding parking is relatively easy. The tofu and the fuqi feipian are the best among the dishes we ordered. Very fragrant and good texture. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. $75 all in for 2 people with plenty of food.“
“Beef and mutton skewers and potato slices, the cabbage skewers are particularly delicious and go well with rice. The sauce-flavored boiled pork slices are super friendly to people who don’t like spicy food! Beef and lamb kebabs and potato chip kebabs, cabbage kebabs are especially good and super filling, and the soy flavored boiled beef slices are super friendly to those who don't eat spicy food!“
“The food at this restaurant was absolutely delectable, reminiscent of the mouthwatering barbecues I've enjoyed in China. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were courteous, although they seemed a bit stretched thin due to the busy crowd, resulting in slightly slower service.“
“Our dining experience at Mr. Fish surpassed our expectations. The House Sauerkraut Soup was brimming with rich, intense flavors and was served in a very generous portion. The Spicy BBQ Basa fish dish stands out as the best fish dish I've had in a long while. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's sure to impress.“
“Goubili Baozi has become my go-to spot for mouthwatering baozi. The flavors are authentic, and the texture is just right - soft and fluffy on the outside, with a savory filling that bursts with flavor in every bite. The variety of options ensures there's something for everyone, whether you prefer traditional pork or adventurous seafood fillings. The staff is always friendly and the service is prompt. Highly recommend trying Goubili Baozi for a taste of authentic Chinese cuisine!“

“Excellent Chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food, especially Lanzhou beef noodles. My girlfriend and I often lunch her, and because of the pandemic, we are now ordering delivery. Very fast, tasty and not expensive. ps. You should definitely try fried noodles, chunks of lamb, and barbecue skewers.“
“Here's the pro move - they have the best stir fried noodle dish in the city - Bokkeum Jjampoong - gotta order extra noodles if sharing. We also ordered their Black-bean-sauce rice which comes with a deep fried omelette and a side bowl of their delicious Jjamppong soup.“
“Service was great, people were really nice. This was only my third time having hand pulled noodles in this style. Maybe I have to try this place again but thought it was okay. Sides were amazing though. I could swim in their chili oil it was so good.“
“The food is worth for the money. It comes with a drink which is a plus. But the BBQ tastes does confuse me a bit. It's not Chinese BBQ favour nor Taiwanese BBQ favour like other store. The portion is good. Not the best, but good for a try.“
“Very delicious baos and soup - I don’t know if my favourite is the curry beef or the truffle. They’re both so good! My only complaint is there are no vegetarian bao options, so my friends who are veg can never join me here which is a shame because the food is great.“
“I've been waiting for a good Chinese restaurant to open up in the midtown area. Thank goodness for Jing Chinese restaurant, otherwise I'd have to drive to GTA or downtown for Chinese food. It is authentic and delicious. I chose the pick up option because I needed my birthday catered. I will be back for dine-in because the interior looks great.“
“Great al dente noodles, fresh, hand pulled in the store. Very attentive service. I liked the little bonuses - a basket to hold your jacket and bags; a bib to avoid splashing my clothes. About 8 tables. Clean washrooms. GreenP street parking.“
“Amazing dining experience. The owner is very cultured, very friendly, loves life, and pays very close attention to details. It is rare to find a Chinese restaurant that really cooks well these days, but this place does. Even typical North American Chinese food like sweet and sour chicken is next level here because they really care about what they are serving, and the chefs in the back are real chefs. The owner will chat with you if you get him started. Pay close attention to the decoration in the dining room and the bathrooms; very little detail is carefully thought out and has meanings behind them.It is always great to support small businesses too.“
“Good fast food style restaurant for chinese burgers and noodles. They have modern decor and spacious seating. The burgers are crispy, and the noodles have affordable prices. There's no table service, so it's essentially a fast food restaurant where you pickup the order at the counter.I ordered a combo, and they were able to swap the pop for hot soymilk at no additional cost ?. They have a variety of cold and hot drinks available.“
“Update:The beef brisket + wonton is awesome flavours and beef is moist not tough.Came to try this place out after many reviews and got the traditional shrimp wonton noodle. The wontons are very delicious as well as broth, the noodles on the other hand didn't have much taste. I think next time I will try the beef brisket and shrimp wonton.“
“Basically every time I come to Toronto, I come here to eat. Not to mention the taste is very good. Every time I come, I am treated very well. It feels like one of the best services I have ever received! ! ! Highly recommended! Will keep coming here to eat!“
“**updated March 2024**After a shift in approach, this restaurant has landed on a winning combination - great Chinese BBQ (*love* the lamb skewers) as well as more traditional Szechuan food in a lively but still meal-appropriate atmosphere.Very friendly service, quite busy, they draw a regular crowd and for good reason! So give them a try!--Used to be amazing, authentic Szechuan food in a casual and friendly environment. However, in the last year, the owner has changed the atmosphere so that its more like a dive bar (dim, loud music (usually either country or rap that doesn't lend itself to conversation) so its not a nice place to go if you want to have a nice date. While the BBQ is still excellent, the other dishes have gone downhill flavour wise (blander than they used to be) which has been a huge disappointment as this used to be a favorite local place of mine.“
“It was one of my best find in Markham till now. Banbudian Bistro specializes in authentic Sicuan cuisines. We have ordered stir-fried chicken with Sichuan chili. It is definitely a must try. Also, the fried rice with crab egg was amazing. It is a beautiful restaurant well taken care of and definitely should be on your checklist.“
“I went to Poong Moon with my elderly Korean parents recently. Initially I wasn’t sure whether we made a right choice given how it looked more like a pub/bar instead of a Korean-Chinese restaurant. But don’t look that fool you. The food was outstanding. My parents and I enjoyed it very much. The service was also great as well even though they were really busy. It’s too bad that we live in Montreal otherwise we would be here a lot more often.“
“The taste of extremely authentic Northeastern cuisine can make it famous in a certain region even in China. I have ordered both dine-in and pick-up, and there is no difference in the quality of the food. This time I will talk about this fried eggplant dish. First of all, the eggplant is cut very thin, because eggplant is a very oil-absorbing ingredient, so it will not be so greasy. Secondly, the two pieces of eggplant are placed in a "V" shape, unlike the mainstream eggplant boxes. Place them parallelly so that there is enough space to stack the meat fillings, and the structure is more stable without losing its shape.Secondly, there is no starch in the meat filling, which makes the texture of the meat filling very firm; the seasoning of the meat filling also fully brings out the aroma of the meat, which is neither salty nor bland, and the aroma is overflowing. Finally, let’s talk about the small ingredients. I initially thought this small dry ingredient was ordinary chili noodles, but after tasting it, I found that it was a seasoned small ingredient. It has a salty taste, and the chili noodles are very fragrant. There are also some other seasonings. , coupled with the eggplant itself, which is rich in oil, it can perfectly relieve the greasiness. All in all, authentic Northeastern cuisine, the style is more like that of Jilin and Heilongjiang, mainly salty and fresh, and you can remember it for a while after eating it.“
“We ordered Qinthai on New Year's Eve for the first time and the food was delicious! We ordered early enough to avoid the holiday rush. The owner was very sweet! The dish that stood out the most was the salt and pepper squid.... 10/10!!!“
“Dinner with my family to celebrate my son's birthday was such a joy. We had much to eat (lobsters and Peking duck....) and even more to take home.Lunch with friends was excellent. My friends are foodies and they would only settle for the best. They were happy with dim sum and fried noodle dishes atJoyous Chinese Cuisine.“
“Appreciate reply from owner. Looks like some not-so-smart people who don't know what they are doing said Halal in reviews so I thought maybe owner told them it is.Please note this is NOT a Halal food establishment.(Although one day would love to try Halal version of these dishes!)*Original Review*Halal??? Literally serves pork. Owners reply then I delete this review.“
“Roasted duck is a must! I tried numerous restaurants for the peking duck but J&Y’s impressed me a lot. Deep fried salt and pepper duck is the best way to deal with the leftovers. Just one thing I didn’t like - they didn’t provide enough bread but charged me $6 for extra bread.“
“Their Portuguese Baked chicken was delicious. Its been a long time since I've tried something like this. So glad to have found it. The beef that I bought was tough though. The meat wasnt tender at all. I wouldnt recommend it. Dessert was delicious, loved the “
“So happy we found this gem! Have ordered twice for delivery and both my husband and I have been very pleased with the quality. The dim sum items are quite small in comparison to what you might get in other restaurants, but the taste makes up for it.“
“Came to have dinner here with my friends and catch up. We got seated right away even though we had a big group and they got us water right after. We ordered a bunch of food family style and it was delicious we couldn’t help ourselves. The food was flavourful and for those who can handle it I would definitely recommend their spicier dishes. They steamed buns were definitely one of my favourites. This location is an amazing place to take your family and friends and I look forward to coming again!“
“Have been coming here for over 15 years to order takeout for dinner. A neighborhood restaurant that serves authentic cantonese style food. Food is always consistently well cooked. Each dish is good portion size. Our favourite is the set meal for 4c which includes:Crispy half chickenSliced Fish with vegetablesPork chop with OX sauceStir fried beef and mushrooms.House soupWhite riceYam sago dessertWe usually substitute the pork chop dish with sweet and sour pork. This time we chose to switch the beef for the sweet and sour pork. Paid an additional few dollars for the substitution. Get a discount when you pay cash for takeout. Highly recommend.“
“Great low key place for handmade noodles. I have two boys 9-11 who are picky eaters and both enjoyed the authentic beef noodles. The soup is a curry broth, but not spicy. Husband had the braised beef noodles and said they were good. I had the pork and eggplant noodles. Really tasty sauce. Wish the egg plant pieces were bigger. The noodles are really good. We come to Toronto every few months and slways go to DTF, but im so glad we tried this place. This is not a great place for atmosphere though. You eat and leave.“
“I didn't find anything special. Although I ordered the soup pot to be mildly spicy, it had no spice flavor at all, which didn't help to stimulate my appetite. The food was self-service; you just select it and then it's prepared in the kitchen before being added to the pot. I pretty much took a bit of everything except for the red meat, but none of them absorbed the flavor of the soup. The pork and chicken pieces were pan-fried, which tasted pretty good, but I didn't take much of those, so it wasn't enough to improve my overall impression.“
“Stopped in here on a whim and super happy we did. We got the special they have right now which is char siu soy sauce chicken and rice combo that comes with soup, all for $8.99 plus tax.The soup was delicious - a lot of quality Asian ingredients were used in it. The char Siu was nice and lean, and they use a different recipe with the sauce that is a little different from other places, but still delicious. The texture on all the food including the rice was perfect. Sometimes BBQ places make the rice too mushy, but this one was great.Lastly the people here seem really nice and were very welcoming to us. Seemed like they knew a lot of the people coming in too. Happy to support friendly people ?Note - only accepts debit and cash“
“This is premium dimsum at its best in the GTA. I believe this is the best cha-siu bbq pork I've had in my life. All the portions are generously sized in comparison to the price. It's not the cheapest dimsum place, but it's very delicious to eat here“
“Un très belle expérience ! Le hot pot était très bon, les ingrédient également. Nous avions choisi un bouillon blanc et un autre épicé. L'épicé était un peu trop pour moi mais très très bon ! On a eu la chance d'avoir une musique live. A moins que ce ne soit toujours le cas ? En tout cas, une très belle soirée !“
“Momo2Go impresses with its delectable variety of dishes. The flavors are rich, and the attention to detail in presentation is noteworthy. Whether you're a fan of traditional momos or adventurous with fusion option. The prompt delivery service adds to the overall satisfaction, making it a top choice for those craving top-notch Asian cuisine.“
“A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! I’m so happy I found this spot and will be back!“
“I had the pleasure of ordering food from Steve. I ordered a 1/2 tray of chicken and noodles. We got to talking about the reason for me needing this food last minute. My mom had just had a shoulder replacement and we were celebrating the success of the surgery. He was really diligent and sympathetic. I was amazed that i was able to order this food and it was ready in 15 minutes. I've been coming to this restaurant for more than 20 years and the food is as I remember it in high-schoolsl. If you choose a business to support, this one is family owned and delicious. My moms doing great! Thank you for making looking after her just that much easier.“
“This was our 1st time out to a restaurant since my son was diagnosed with Celiac. So happy I didn't have to worry or question anything about the food. Food was excellent and he wanted more to take home. Will definitely make our way there again.“
