I had amazing takeout here, which caused me to recommend this place to others. The food is fresh and flavourful. I went back for dinner with a friend last night and she was very impressed.
We walked in to Proud Vegan excited. However it is ‘part' of another restaurant that has many meat dishes. We were given the main restaurant menu which looked liked a normal meat based menu. We were puzzled, asked if this was the vegan restaurant, and then we were given a single menu with the word "vegan" taped on it. Ok, we thought…let's give this a try. The Proud Vegan is within another restaurant. We went in and said we were there for The Proud Vegan and they gave us an entire 3-4 page menu of only vegan items. They were all super delicious too and the atmosphere is really nice!
