Even though the place was extremely busy she still took our orders and gave us our food and drinks in a quick and timely manner and was super nice and respectful. 5/5 server. We got the breadsticks, caesar and garden salads, tomato soup, hero chicken parmesan sandwich and the spicy sausage penne. Everything tasted great. Recommend East Side Mario’s.”

“Took my 4 year old here for a P.A. day from school and he loved it. he has been asking to go back ever since. we played some great games, got some DND dice at a sweet price and a few miniatures to paint together at home. “Our first time at Shy’s, honestly not sure why I waited so long. We had a private room upstairs as there were 8 of us. Our server, Zoe and his trusted companion Maryanne were wonderful. Service was excellent, food was very good. You are not rushed, it’s a very comfortable atmosphere. We loved the theme throughout. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.”

The owner continuously checked up on us which made us feel super welcomed! The Nashville Hot Chicken was a bit too crispy for my liking, but that was quickly set right by a complementary basque cheesecake with burnt caramel (which may be the best we’ve ever had). The atmosphere is so thoughtfully decorated and beautiful and everything is spotless. The service was also great, of course. The cocktails were another highlight; we thoroughly enjoyed the passion fruit martini and winter colada. I would give 6 stars if I could!”

“When I found out about Indonesian’s Flavour I was a bit hesitant but I tried their food and was surprised and happy that I did not have to travel far such as to Mississauga or Toronto to eat satay , nasi goreng or rendang , etc . It is all in the Hammer /Farmer’s market . Hamilton is lucky to have Indonesian cuisine , which can come to you mild or really spicy . …You just have to ask . Now if we can only ask them to get a bigger restaurant with lots of chairs and tables for a truly good and yummy dining experience !”

Not only is the food divine and the drinks delicious, but the staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. The chef holds themself to such a high standard that they came out and apologized to me as he felt the last lobster tail they had was not good enough for us and did not meet secco standards and he did not want to serve it as he wanted the best for us, we were given a free appetizer and glasses of prosecco for this, and were highly impressed by not only the honesty, but the standard Secco holds itself to. 10/10 my favourite place to go in Hamilton ♥️”

“I don’t ever really write reviews on restaurants unless they are consistent with their food quality and standards. So with that being said, this is the third time I’ve ordered with Timmy’s and I definitely need to acknowledge this place. My husband and I order the same thing every time (we don’t really like change lol) and every single time with the two kebabs and rice it is ABSOLUTELY perfect. They don’t miss. The food that comes out of their kitchen is obviously made with love and care because they never let a bad plate go out. I’m not big on rice. At all. But this rice, I can eat all day, every day. They put a type of red sauce on it and a white sauce too. But it’s not what you think. It’s not the typical shawarma red and white sauce you get when you order a wrap or a plate. It’s savoury red sauce with tomatos and a little bit of kick. The white sauce seems yogurt based and it pairs absolutely perfect with the rice. And the rice, isn’t your typical white rice. It seems marinated in a way that is exploding with flavour just on its own. And don’t even get me started on the kebabs!!!! They’re juicy and big and packed full of flavour. And they give you two massive kebabs! TWO! This meal is not only filling but absolutely delicious and I’ve been addicted to Timmy’s Tanur since the moment I tried it the first time. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, using Uber eats or door dash, this restaurant will NEVER disappoint. They even throw in a delicious pita to make sure you’re full! Absolutely wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!!”

“As a former barista and bulk coffee distributor the most impressive aspect of this fine establishment were the varieties of whole bean available from roasters around the globe. In addition, the beans in their espresso machine are changed on a semi-weekly basis. Each visit you may be treated to a completely different origin or roaster.
The cafe has a small selection of pastries to compliment their beverage offerings. Prepared off site but baked in house allows for fresh and delicious taste experience. I had a ham and cheese croissant with everything bagel seasoning and it was flaky and yummy.
I will return to try the rest of their pastries as well as the treat of being surprised with a bean from a roaster from some part of the world I might have never visited.
There is street parking, accepted card payment, curated selection of whole beans for purchase, cute stickers, and friendly service.
The bar staff knows what they are doing, I trust their skill and knowledge. It would be easy to fall into a rabbit hole of coffee conversation with the staff.”

“As the biggest of karaoke enthusiasts, my partner and I checked out Dat Cang Karaoke on Concession, for our date night out. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves singing karaoke to our hearts content. The staff was lovely and courteous, quick to respond to needs, and curious about our feedback as they are newly open and licensed. They also let us know that this was the first Wednesday night open for karaoke so it was especially nice to sneak in unanticipated and the only singers in the club. We both were impressed with their host system, sound quality, and especially stage lighting - it felt welcoming to sing in a space built with obvious care. There's plenty of comfortable seating arranged in groupings that enable you to sing from your seat or take the stage if desired. We did both and enjoyed the comfort of feeling like singing at home but in a lovely and well-tended space. The karaoke system is far superior to most currently used in North America. having myself been a karaoke host and a world champion of karaoke competition, I feel confident in saying that this is a program that is far more accessible to worldwide karaoke options in multiple no languages. I was really impressed with its accessibility and performance and also impressed with the sound quality which was definitely above standard. Sweet potato fries and the delicious sesame slaw paired with an order of wings in two flavours (maple garlic and Sriracha lime, yum!), plus the Carbonara Pizza at the recommendation of Spencer, our server. Every bite of the meal was amazing, especially the crispy texture of the wings and the creamy balance of the pizza sauce. Spencer took the whole experience to the next level though with their sparkling energy, attentiveness and friendliness from our entry all the way to perfectly divided bills at the end. Our drink orders were taken promptly by a young gentleman who was very polite, and our food orders were taken shortly after our drinks arrived. We ordered appetizers along with our lunches. My husband had the pho, and I ordered a vermicelli dish. We started with the shrimp spring rolls, which were a 10/10, the flavours were spot on.
Everything we ordered was fresh, flavourful, and well prepared, and we left very happy with our experience. My only small wish is that they offered lunch specials. Will definitely be back!”

“We expected a party of approx 20 people on Jan 24/26 but due to the weather we had 3 people that flew out early from Pearson to Logan Airport and around 4 went home immediaely after the 'due' because they were from out of town. That left 13 of us. Since we had reserved, we still had a round table for 13 in the back of the restaurant. We decided to go with a family style format and actually ordered way too much food. The portions were large and tasty, from the egg rolls + spring rolls to a variety of dishes that satisfied everyone. We were extremely well looked after despite the restaurant getting busier. We were happy to see other parties in and out as January is very slow in the restaurant business. I dealt with someone on 3 occasions before we arrived and he assured me he woud make our dinner worth while. And he did. We ended up with one extra at the table designated for a comfortable 12 and that was okay. We also had our beloved SIL in a wheelchair to boot. We thought that would not be possible when we were expecting 20. Needles to say, we were not rushed, our food was excellent, we had good conversation around a round table and to add,.....it was a great experience. If ANYTHING, the room we were in could actual benefit from adding material or whatever on the walls, ceiling in order to cut way back on the noise. The table for 12 was far better than having 13 seated in a long table but noise barriers would help 100%. Thank you DRAGON COURT for an excellent experience You were recommeded by one of the folks who was at our table and did not disappoint.”

Everything just tastes a little bit different. Vienna Schnitzel portion size was smaller & a little bit overdone. The potatoes undercooked on the inside, but over done on the outside - slightly burnt. I was happy to see they brought back the rye bread in the basket but sad to see I had to pay for my side salad. Choice was always soup or salad, now it’s just soup & pay extra for salad. Our server (Sam) was amazing. I will go back one more time & try again - maybe they were having an ‘off’ night. So with that being said, this is the third time I’ve ordered with Timmy’s and I definitely need to acknowledge this place. My husband and I order the same thing every time (we don’t really like change lol) and every single time with the two kebabs and rice it is ABSOLUTELY perfect. They don’t miss. The food that comes out of their kitchen is obviously made with love and care because they never let a bad plate go out. I’m not big on rice. At all. But this rice, I can eat all day, every day. They put a type of red sauce on it and a white sauce too. But it’s not what you think. It’s not the typical shawarma red and white sauce you get when you order a wrap or a plate. It’s savoury red sauce with tomatos and a little bit of kick. The white sauce seems yogurt based and it pairs absolutely perfect with the rice. And the rice, isn’t your typical white rice. It seems marinated in a way that is exploding with flavour just on its own. And don’t even get me started on the kebabs!!!! They’re juicy and big and packed full of flavour. And they give you two massive kebabs! TWO! This meal is not only filling but absolutely delicious and I’ve been addicted to Timmy’s Tanur since the moment I tried it the first time. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, using Uber eats or door dash, this restaurant will NEVER disappoint. They even throw in a delicious pita to make sure you’re full! Absolutely wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!!”

“We visited Saigon House for lunch last week and were very impressed with the food and service. The restaurant was very clean, and we were greeted and seated right away upon arrival. There were a few other tables already dining, which created a nice atmosphere.
Our drink orders were taken promptly by a young gentleman who was very polite, and our food orders were taken shortly after our drinks arrived. We ordered appetizers along with our lunches. My husband had the pho, and I ordered a vermicelli dish. We started with the shrimp spring rolls, which were a 10/10, the flavours were spot on.
Everything we ordered was fresh, flavourful, and well prepared, and we left very happy with our experience. My only small wish is that they offered lunch specials. Will definitely be back!”

“First time going there under the new ownership. Read online reviews that stated I can expect the same great food like it was under the previous owner. Slightly disappointed. Everything just tastes a little bit different. Vienna Schnitzel portion size was smaller & a little bit overdone. The potatoes undercooked on the inside, but over done on the outside - slightly burnt. I was happy to see they brought back the rye bread in the basket but sad to see I had to pay for my side salad. Choice was always soup or salad, now it’s just soup & pay extra for salad. Our server (Sam) was amazing. I will go back one more time & try again - maybe they were having an ‘off’ night. Everyone deserves a second chance.”

“Ok! So. I can’t describe even how AMAZING this matcha spot is. I just visited it eith my boyfriend after driving 20 mins to come. It’s real authentic matcha. The flavour is OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD. I got a matcha latte, and the pistachio matcha ice cream. Both delicious but the ICE CREAM is something everyone who decides to go should try. I’ve never tasted a treat aa good as this dessert. The girl was also very kind and helpful. 100/10. Well worth the drive and will be back regularly!!!”

Can't beat the Mandarin restaurant for an overall great dining experience.”
