It is all in the Hammer /Farmer’s market . Hamilton is lucky to have Indonesian cuisine , which can come to you mild or really spicy . …You just have to ask . Now if we can only ask them to get a bigger restaurant with lots of chairs and tables for a truly good and yummy dining experience !”

The staff is friendly and the food is served fast. A & W is my favorite burger place. The teen burger is my favorite. It has special meaning- the teen burger was the last meal l shared with my mum, before she passed. She wanted a bite and ended up eating 3/4 of it. She said l should have gotten 2 teen burgers. The teen burger is the perfect burger- it is a lovely burger with everything.”

“A few weeks ago, my wife and I visited Lakshmi Chowk BBQ & Karahi House for the first time. When we arrived, I asked the staff which dish they would recommend as their signature specialty. Their confident reply was, "Everything we make is special." That gave us the confidence to order their Mix Platter. The platter included 1 beef seekh kebab, 2 chicken seekh kebabs, 3 pieces of tandoori chicken tikka, 3 pieces of Lahori chicken tikka, 3 pieces of malai tikka, along with a freshly baked tandoori naan and a variety of sauces. After finishing the meal, I can honestly say they lived up to their claim. Every item on the platter was flavorful, freshly prepared, and cooked to perfection. Each type of kebab and tikka had its own distinct taste, making the platter an excellent way to experience a variety of their grilled specialties. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. A big compliment to the entire team—keep up the excellent work! My only suggestion is to continue maintaining this high level of quality and consistency. Standardizing great taste is one of the most important ingredients for long-term success in the restaurant business. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu. Highly recommended!”

Some of my favourites are there Mango Slushy with Coconut Cream Jelly or Ice Cream and their Hot Dog milk buns. Just this week I finally had the chance to try their fresh Strawberry and Mango mochi, WOW! I think the thickness of the mochi really complements the cream inside well. So with that being said, this is the third time I’ve ordered with Timmy’s and I definitely need to acknowledge this place. My husband and I order the same thing every time (we don’t really like change lol) and every single time with the two kebabs and rice it is ABSOLUTELY perfect. They don’t miss. The food that comes out of their kitchen is obviously made with love and care because they never let a bad plate go out. I’m not big on rice. At all. But this rice, I can eat all day, every day. They put a type of red sauce on it and a white sauce too. But it’s not what you think. It’s not the typical shawarma red and white sauce you get when you order a wrap or a plate. It’s savoury red sauce with tomatos and a little bit of kick. The white sauce seems yogurt based and it pairs absolutely perfect with the rice. And the rice, isn’t your typical white rice. It seems marinated in a way that is exploding with flavour just on its own. And don’t even get me started on the kebabs!!!! They’re juicy and big and packed full of flavour. And they give you two massive kebabs! TWO! This meal is not only filling but absolutely delicious and I’ve been addicted to Timmy’s Tanur since the moment I tried it the first time. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, using Uber eats or door dash, this restaurant will NEVER disappoint. They even throw in a delicious pita to make sure you’re full! Absolutely wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!!”

For those who know, they kinda keep it quiet. It’s small but perfect. And talk about calming. Easy to get into one of the comfortable chairs and sink right into this place. Karen a friend of mine had put up a few pictures about the place. I commented on the post. And wrote that it looked wonderful and I should give it a try. Karen said that if I did she would meet me there. Well let me tell you it will not be the last time for sure. Ashley and Alex behind the bar were amazing. Perfectly suited and great folks. Now, I was looking at the fantastic drinks that kept coming out. And the next time I go I would like to try a few of the concoctions. I didn’t see that they had flights (smaller versions). But I am very sure they could make something up. I most definitely will return. And look forward to spending a few hours in that calming atmosphere. One thing that was very prevalent to me. “As the biggest of karaoke enthusiasts, my partner and I checked out Dat Cang Karaoke on Concession, for our date night out. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves singing karaoke to our hearts content. The staff was lovely and courteous, quick to respond to needs, and curious about our feedback as they are newly open and licensed. They also let us know that this was the first Wednesday night open for karaoke so it was especially nice to sneak in unanticipated and the only singers in the club. We both were impressed with their host system, sound quality, and especially stage lighting - it felt welcoming to sing in a space built with obvious care. There's plenty of comfortable seating arranged in groupings that enable you to sing from your seat or take the stage if desired. We did both and enjoyed the comfort of feeling like singing at home but in a lovely and well-tended space. The karaoke system is far superior to most currently used in North America. having myself been a karaoke host and a world champion of karaoke competition, I feel confident in saying that this is a program that is far more accessible to worldwide karaoke options in multiple no languages. I was really impressed with its accessibility and performance and also impressed with the sound quality which was definitely above standard. “My partner and I went out for dinner last night to celebrate, and we had such a wonderful experience. We started at the bar, where our bartender was incredibly friendly, charismatic, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
For our starter, we ordered the bao, which was packed with flavour and absolutely delicious. We both chose pizza for our mains, and they were some of the most authentic pizzas we’ve had outside of Italy. That’s not an easy feat, and it’s something not every restaurant can pull off.
We dined on the covered patio, which had a lovely atmosphere. The only downside was that, because it’s enclosed, it became quite loud and made conversation a little difficult.
Overall, we were very impressed with both the food and the service. It was a fantastic way to celebrate, and we’ll definitely be back!”

“Been coming to Iron Chef for years now. Very unassuming and family run local favorite for Dim Sum, however I have been recently coming for some of the larger format dishes. This go around was Szechuan Beef, BBQ Pork LoMein and lemon chicken. Lemon chicken crispy outside and tender meat with a thick lemon sauce (the best kind). Not too sweet but a good balance with the crispy outside. The Lo Mein noodles tender with nice slices of bbq pork and perfectly cooked broccoli. The Szechuan beef nice and tender with ample amounts of mushroom and peppers with just enough kick, however get a side of their house chili sauce and you’ll thank me later.
Overall it’s always a solid meal and service is definitely prompt and friendly, especially when you get to know the family a bit more. While takeout is their forte, it’s nice just to sit and eat the dishes fresh out of the kitchen.”

“We expected a party of approx 20 people on Jan 24/26 but due to the weather we had 3 people that flew out early from Pearson to Logan Airport and around 4 went home immediaely after the 'due' because they were from out of town. That left 13 of us. Since we had reserved, we still had a round table for 13 in the back of the restaurant. We decided to go with a family style format and actually ordered way too much food. The portions were large and tasty, from the egg rolls + spring rolls to a variety of dishes that satisfied everyone. We were extremely well looked after despite the restaurant getting busier. We were happy to see other parties in and out as January is very slow in the restaurant business. I dealt with someone on 3 occasions before we arrived and he assured me he woud make our dinner worth while. And he did. We ended up with one extra at the table designated for a comfortable 12 and that was okay. We also had our beloved SIL in a wheelchair to boot. We thought that would not be possible when we were expecting 20. Needles to say, we were not rushed, our food was excellent, we had good conversation around a round table and to add,.....it was a great experience. If ANYTHING, the room we were in could actual benefit from adding material or whatever on the walls, ceiling in order to cut way back on the noise. The table for 12 was far better than having 13 seated in a long table but noise barriers would help 100%. Every bite of the meal was amazing, especially the crispy texture of the wings and the creamy balance of the pizza sauce. “A few weeks ago, my wife and I visited Lakshmi Chowk BBQ & Karahi House for the first time. When we arrived, I asked the staff which dish they would recommend as their signature specialty. Their confident reply was, "Everything we make is special." That gave us the confidence to order their Mix Platter. The platter included 1 beef seekh kebab, 2 chicken seekh kebabs, 3 pieces of tandoori chicken tikka, 3 pieces of Lahori chicken tikka, 3 pieces of malai tikka, along with a freshly baked tandoori naan and a variety of sauces. After finishing the meal, I can honestly say they lived up to their claim. Every item on the platter was flavorful, freshly prepared, and cooked to perfection. Each type of kebab and tikka had its own distinct taste, making the platter an excellent way to experience a variety of their grilled specialties. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. A big compliment to the entire team—keep up the excellent work! My only suggestion is to continue maintaining this high level of quality and consistency. Standardizing great taste is one of the most important ingredients for long-term success in the restaurant business. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu. “This review for Annalakshmi restaurant on Main West is mainly for non-Indian patrons simply because I cannot presume to know enough about Indian cuisine and completely appreciate the nuance of their cooking. However, that said, I know my own palette and I’ll say with conviction the Butter Garlic Masala Dosa I had was fantastic! The taste was wonderfully garlicky and the sauces a great compliment. The other dish I tried was an appetizer Medhu Vada Plate which consisted of four lentil “donuts” with a dipping sauce that could have easily been its own soup it was so delicious. Highly recommended, 100% vegetarian. If there were any negatives depending on your preference in Indian Food, there is a lot of deep-fried selections, lots of bread in various forms and no meat. Take your time with the menu and ask your server questions because between the above mentioned items is a lot of tasty gems!”

Nothing like the menu (common for this location) This was my second time in a year and it's just been so disappointing. I frequent the Ancaster and even the Queenston location which has much better service, as well as food presentation/quality. We sat in the bar lounge area... Doesn't matter where we sit though you still expect to get great service. I keep giving this location a chance to continue to be disappointed. This is your lesson and to get better at Service. First things first introduce yourself to the table and say welcome, then acknowledge the celebration on the table. Again, Ancaster and Queenston location are much much better for service, food quality and overall experience! He still received $16 out of my hardened pockets in the gratuity even though I do not recommend. I love to dine out and I've been in the industry for 22 years so you just never know who's sitting at your table. Please try and do better guys people don't have money to waste and it will deter people from wanting to spend money at your location.”

So with that being said, this is the third time I’ve ordered with Timmy’s and I definitely need to acknowledge this place. My husband and I order the same thing every time (we don’t really like change lol) and every single time with the two kebabs and rice it is ABSOLUTELY perfect. They don’t miss. The food that comes out of their kitchen is obviously made with love and care because they never let a bad plate go out. I’m not big on rice. At all. But this rice, I can eat all day, every day. They put a type of red sauce on it and a white sauce too. But it’s not what you think. It’s not the typical shawarma red and white sauce you get when you order a wrap or a plate. It’s savoury red sauce with tomatos and a little bit of kick. The white sauce seems yogurt based and it pairs absolutely perfect with the rice. And the rice, isn’t your typical white rice. It seems marinated in a way that is exploding with flavour just on its own. And don’t even get me started on the kebabs!!!! They’re juicy and big and packed full of flavour. And they give you two massive kebabs! TWO! This meal is not only filling but absolutely delicious and I’ve been addicted to Timmy’s Tanur since the moment I tried it the first time. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, using Uber eats or door dash, this restaurant will NEVER disappoint. They even throw in a delicious pita to make sure you’re full! Absolutely wonderful! “A few weeks ago, my wife and I visited Lakshmi Chowk BBQ & Karahi House for the first time. When we arrived, I asked the staff which dish they would recommend as their signature specialty. Their confident reply was, "Everything we make is special." That gave us the confidence to order their Mix Platter. The platter included 1 beef seekh kebab, 2 chicken seekh kebabs, 3 pieces of tandoori chicken tikka, 3 pieces of Lahori chicken tikka, 3 pieces of malai tikka, along with a freshly baked tandoori naan and a variety of sauces. After finishing the meal, I can honestly say they lived up to their claim. Every item on the platter was flavorful, freshly prepared, and cooked to perfection. Each type of kebab and tikka had its own distinct taste, making the platter an excellent way to experience a variety of their grilled specialties. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. A big compliment to the entire team—keep up the excellent work! My only suggestion is to continue maintaining this high level of quality and consistency. Standardizing great taste is one of the most important ingredients for long-term success in the restaurant business. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu. “I have been going to A & W 190 Barton location , Hamilton, Ontario for over 10 years. I have never had any complaints with the food and the service. The staff is friendly and the food is served fast. A & W is my favorite burger place. The teen burger is my favorite. It has special meaning- the teen burger was the last meal l shared with my mum, before she passed. She wanted a bite and ended up eating 3/4 of it. She said l should have gotten 2 teen burgers. The teen burger is the perfect burger- it is a lovely burger with everything.”
