“There are always many vegan options to choose from at Mio Gelato! Their red handles are vegan flavors which is about 1/3 of their total gelatos! The only disappointment is that the gelatos flavors that are vegan are mostly fruit based sorbets. I would love to see some more creative vegan flavors from Mio Gelato using nondairy creams or milks! That being said I am always down for a goood fruit flavored sorbet and Mio Gelato does not disappoint!“

What is unique about this place is it offers edible cookie dough, even for dogs! If you want to sample a bit of everything, try ordering the trio. It comes with a scoop of ice cream, a scoop of cookie dough, and a baked cookie. We definitely recommend sharing it with someone (or two) because it gets really sweet after a while. “The last time I visited this place was back in high school in 1998. Just visited this place again this evening, since moving back to Kingston last year. Same great tasting ice cream as always. Wished they could have put the flavours at the very front so customers can see what options their are.“
“Besides being one of the best Pizzerias in Kingston, they also have great customer service. Shout out to Tony's. We are regulars and always order 2 pizzas. Tonight there was a misunderstanding and they thought we only ordered 1 pizza. One pizza was delivered and charged for. Delivery boy was very polite and apologetic..offered to call the store but we said no t a problem it's ok. 30 mins later the same Delivery boy shows up with another pizza on the house. The women working was absolutely delightful and welcomed us all in ( including my little chihuahua) she even gave my daughter her icecream for free since it’s her birthday AND gave my dog a little cup of his own vanilla icecream !
