“Hands down one of my favourite spots! Have been coming here for years. Food is always great, and everything I've tried has been good, but the grilled calamari is a must! Crave it! Service is pretty good, it's always busy, so staff can be overwhelmed sometimes, but they're always polite and courteous. “I came into this restaurant on the evening of March 25, 2025.Just had a steak meal after a long day working remotely in my hotel room, after my flight was delayed. I didn't have a car with me, nor did I want to walk to another restaurant, so I thought I'd give this restaurant a chance as it's conveniently located in the hotel.For the food, it's pretty decent for the price point, so if you're more value food oriented, this could be a good spot for you. My steak was seasoned well, and the peppercorn sauce was tasty. It's not a top tier cut of course, but if you wanted something affordable and made right to what you ask, this is a good choice. Kudos to the chef for doing medium rare, right.I think what particularly made my experience very good was the Bartender named Pauline. I was looking at the menu outside and she called me into the restaurant in a very endearing way. She could see I was tired and hungry, and I joined her at the bar for dinner for one. She was pleasant and friendly, and kept the right amount of time with me on how my meal was doing and helping with other guests coming from the hotel.She actively called in guests to come into the restaurant, made them feel welcome and I saw her several times thanking guest as they were leaving for coming in despite being a bit busy at times with other guests. Seems like the other guests were happy chatting with her and thanking her as well.Having worked in the hospitality industry myself at one point in my life, it's nice to see someone who just seems like she genuinely cares about what she does and how she makes others feel.Kudos to you Pauline, and thank you for the great service and mini chat on life, while singing REM with me at the bar to help bring my spirits up.To the owners, I kindly ask you share some recognition to Paul and the chef in the heart of house.“
“This is cozy pub and grill is quite spacious with tables, couches, a pool table and lots of TVs. A great place to go with a group of friends to eat and relax and enjoy time together. Food was great. Service was fast and friendly.Parking: Parking is right in front of the restaurant.“
