“Came here to try the Meal For Two ramen. I got myself the Beef Shoyu with garlic oil and my parner ordered the beef original. This was my first time ordering a beef ramen. I usually get pork ramen. It turned out pretty well. The broth was very flavorful especially the beef shoyu one. Give it a try if you want some variety with your ramen. Pork Gyoza was also delicious and crispy. The server was also very attentive and nice—great hospitality.“
“Jinsei is a good ramen restaurant during weekdays lunch time. There is only 1 vegetarian option on the menu, it would be nice to have more variety of items as well as more variety of vegetables. Good service and restaurant is clean and well organized.“
“I think they could have been more generous with the add on toppings. Overall, food was quite good, noodles and broth were tasty. Fried chicken bites could have been nicely complimented with some mayo sauce.Beware, there’s not that much option for veggies and menu is quite limited. Ramen dishes could have been more varied for those who do not eat pork.“
“Delicious spot— we were wandering around the glebe and decided to pop in here for dinner— didn’t know anything about this place but we were pleasantly surprised— karaage chicken appetizer was juicy and garlic dipping sauce was yum— I got the classic shio, gently savoury and addictive, broth was so velvety— and my friend got the “dip” ramen which was special, she really enjoyed— had to wait a while to get our bill but no complaints— a really nice meal! Will be back!Dietary restrictions: Allergens noted under each dish which was really helpful“
“my favourite to-go sushi place in ottawa. i ate here my entire pregnancy with no worries because everything is so fresh. the cucumber avo rolls, the salmon sashami... i also find them affordable compared to other high quality sushi places.order ahead as they are usually busy!“
“Amazing experience for my first time. Heard about it from a barman elsewhere and wasn’t disappointed. Service was amazing, super helpful staff as well as the care they seem to put in their craft. Food seems to follow a seasonal/what is being cooked lately approach, so you might not get the same thing twice. Will definitely go again and add this one to my rotation.“
“Came here for dinner and got their dandan noodles. The noodles were quite tasty and came with some broth on the side which was nice. The pork with the dandan noodles I found was quite cold though, for some reason. Flavors were all good though.“
“Yummy ramen. The broth is borderline not too salty that it can be sipped (or slurped) until it's finished. Good service. Food came out quick. The cube seats seem awkwardly uncomfortable. I was disappointed that my ramen included only half an egg.“
“Amazing food and staff!Sansotei has been, and always will be, my go-to ramen spot in Ottawa! The food is out of this world, and the staff are super friendly and courteous. The portioning is always perfect, the soup delicious, and the noodles cooked just right!I highly recommend the Tonkotsu Black, this has been my go to choice for years at Sansotei!“
