“I popped by this A&W to try an item from their new Brew Bar. I got a small Strawberry Cream Shake ($4.19).The drink is made by a machine and it's fun to watch. The staff just needs to grab a cup and press a button. There's a countdown (count up? Lol) on the screen that tells you what percentage your drink is at (100% means it's done). The drink was good for fast food shakes. It tasted a bit artificial, but that's not surprising. I do like that they use Canadian dairy. Staff here are not as friendly or cheerful as some other locations like the one on Queen St, but they did their job and I was in and out quickly. The inside is bright and clean. They have seating outside as well. This location has a drive thru. It's in the Loblaws Plaza, so lots of free parking.”

I've been to this Mcdonald's before and wasn't impressed and kinda didn't want to go that night. Keyana and Jaiauna was very nice young ladies with great customer service. I ask for my food to be cooked fresh and instead of the attitude I normally get from this Mcdonald's the were so happy to make me happy. Elizabeth took the time just to talk to me while I waited for my order. These three ladies showed me that not all people at Mcdonald's are rude and disrespectful. (and trust me, it's worth the wait) My go-to obsession is the Candied Club which has chicken, candied bacon, cheese, veggies and jalapeno aoili on it. They have in-house made buns and for a long time I would get it on the white bun but I recently switched to the tomato wrap for a change and am loving that too. If you love pecan butter tarts then you'll have to grab one of those too! Also want to mention that the owners are awesome ❤️”

They are one of few spots that actually have great poutine in Ottawa that gets me going back every so often.Fries are always crispy and often even ones that have been covered in gravy. The curds are high quality and don’t melt immediately.As others have noted, they don’t heavily salt their poutine fries or gravy, which I actually prefer over extremely salty gravy. The gravy is nice and thick with a rich gooey consistency that prevents fries from immediately becoming soggy. I often ask for extra gravy layered in for a small extra charge, which lets me have abundant gravy for every bite of fry.”

“May 28, We had a Surprise Party Where do I begin the food was $$ reasonable , appetizers and meals were very good, Baked Salmon, Spaghettini /homemade meatballs were a big hit !! Music by Alex Lopez was very entertaining and fun. The service was top notch, my family and friends raved about how polite and how accommodating they were. Claudia and Georgia where very organized. I brought in 3 cakes to be prepared by putting on the special cake toppers for the finishing touch and serving each patron in a timely fashion, as well as serving extra slices of cake each with sparklers and candles. They took control of the details and told me not to worry. Very professional, my family and friends were very impressed over the service and politeness. I am from Toronto , I did a lot of my arrangements over the phone, they made my job so easy. After the big damaging storm Villa Lucia lost there power like many other people in Ottawa and surrounding area. I thought I was going to have to cancel, they lost all there food in there fridge and freezer. In a day and a half they recovered and the party was on. Special Thank You to Claudia and Georgia and there staff. My rate would be 5+”

“Nice place for coffee and treats. We ordered the carrot cake (delicious), creme brulee in a croissant which was fantastic and yes delicious as well, a mango bunny chocolate bunny. Had to try the macaroons as well. Everything was tasty. Service is fast and good at the same time. Great atmosphere with a welcoming vibe. There is lots of space and many tables to sit on.”

Bring cash for a 10% discount.The selection of fish and sushi was not huge at lunch time (no sashimi) and there were quite a few Korean and Chinese options tossed in. Quality is not bad at all: the tempura was fresh and crispy and not overly oily, the salmon rose roll were huge and fresh, handrolls were well made, and the kalbi was very juicy.Would do again!”

“Denny's food is always lukewarm, and the whole atmosphere is tensed, desguised as something that should feel welcoming but that sends you mixed messages-- like the bland, old walls mirror your loneliness back at you as to say "why are you even here?". You're here because you hope, you hope that this time the pancakes will be warm again like in your souvenir distorted with time, some sort of fauxstalgia that you're left unsure where it even formed. It's a half-hearted stay; just like what the last months of my terminally ill past relationship felt.”
