“Sharing a recent experience I had with Lone Star Barrhaven. Last night as a tradition we ordered for pick up for our daughters birthday. There were a couple of quality control issues with the meal. Normally we overlook these things but I decided to write an email with my concerns. The manager responded very quickly to rectify the issues and frankly went beyond expected to make sure we were happy. Thank you Lone Star you have retained a loyal customer and will continue to support as we have for the past 25+ years!“
“I was excited to try the new barBurritos. Overall it was a good experience. I thought there was a lot of choice and I liked the idea of having a condiment bar. I found the portions to be generous and good value for money. I was a little disappointed though because there were some ingredients that were no longer available, like Mexican rice and marinated beef. In their defense, I arrived 30 minutes before closing. So I will go back earlier next time.“
“Super good Mexican restaurant! I had the vegan burrito which was super good, especially when added with all the salsas that are available. The owner Rigo was super nice, he made conversation with us and even offered us nachos. I recommend 100%!“
“I’d give more stars if I could. Chantal works tirelessly to bring you delicious, filling, and honestly sinful food and deserts. The tacos and burritos here are so filling, tasty and clearly made with love. The deserts are all scratch made and something you should not pass on! And the best thing is 99% of the menu is gluten free right down to the delicious deserts! Keep in mind 12-1 is super busy rush for lunch, so you might wait a little bit but it’s worth it! Otherwise it’s usually very fast service, great food and she accommodated you to the best of her ability! Fantastic service, fantastic food.“

“Great service - the staff were super nice and really fast. The quality of food was awesome too, and they didn't hold back on the meat like other places do. The seating areas are very comfortable and the washrooms very clean. Salsas are fresh and with spicy options, though not the hottest options around if that's your thing. This will be my new go-to chain for burritos and the like :) Highly recommended.“
“Been to this location a few times now and the last two weren’t their greatest performance. During the second to last visit, was told halfway through making the burrito that they had run out of a majority of the ingredients for a burrito, so chose to simply cancel my order and walk away since a burrito w cheese, chicken and rice really ain’t a burrito.Last visit was probably the most unfortunate as a team of 5 people behind the counter got so disorganized people started to walk out of the store and they had to comp chips and drinks for those of us who waited. The line assembly just fell apart when an online customer essentially raised their voice and demanded to be prioritized; after this unfortunate incident, the whole team got disorganized and at one point had 4 people at the register w people still waiting to pass their orders at the other end of the counter.This location would benefit from more training on line assembly for burritos and overall management. When all ingredients are there though, food is good and on slower days, service can be nice and friendly too….just need a bit more training…and honestly, patience from some customers would also help the business meet expectations…a little bit from everyone goes a long way“

“I don't eat a lot of takeout Mexican food because it's usually not great, but this was impressive. The flavours are so delicious, and unlike most places, they're NOT afraid of loading everything up with ingredients! My family and I tried/shared loaded waffle fries (with pulled pork), empanadas, big (tequila lime roasted chicken and chipotle roasted chicken) burritos, cheesecake burrito with amazing caramel sauce, and deep fried mars bars. Every single thing was worth buying again.“
