“I visited my family over the holidays and came to Upper Canada mall for a quick lunch on the way. I have a lot of health restrictions and always on the look out for healthy food options (bonus if vegetarian/vegan). So glad to have found this spot!! When asking about the server's reco, they mentioned their burger was tasty but knowing I was in a bit of a rush, suggested the Crunch Wrap Supreme with vegan queso and packed with veggies. It was absolutely delicious!!! I don't think I've inhaled anything faster. I've been dreaming of it since and will be back to try their other menu options :) The servers were super friendly as well. I'd highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a healthy option that's not bland, and a good price point.“

“We absolutely LOVE Market Brewing! We have been going here for years to enjoy their beers and patio. More recently we had our wedding ceremony and reception there! It was PERFECT!

Honestly, the whole process was incredibly easy thanks to Bill. He is such a friendly, down to earth guy, who really makes you feel at ease when it comes to wedding planning. Which let's be honest, is usually stressful!

Everything we discussed leading up to the day was implemented and honestly exceeded expectations. It was just what we had envisioned, the ambience and vibe of the brewery was exactly what we wanted.

We also need to shout out to the rest of the staff at Market! They were amazing and made sure no one, and I mean no one (not just us Bride and Groom), had to wait to get a drink! For a wedding, that is unheard of. I have never been to a wedding where you did not have to wait to place your drink order.

If you are looking for a location for an event, I highly recommend you consider Market Brewing! Not everyone thinks of booking a Brewery for their venue, but it's such a great idea. If you love beer this is the place for you!

“The Maids' Cottage's butter tarts are voted among the best in Ontario, and I can see why! The tart crust/shell may look thick and dense, but it's actually very light without being dry. The filling was also delicious and not overdone. They have the more traditional flavours (original, pecan, raisin), but also some seasonal ones like Biscoff, gingerbread, and pumpkin. The place has been around for a while now and has been known for its butter tarts, so they must be doing something right! The restaurant that used to be attached is no longer available.“

“We frequently go to the Davis Diner and the service and food has always been good. When we went there today we got a pleasant surprise. Their Easter Specials were advertised by the door and the “Roast Lamb” caught our attention and we decided to give it a try. The lamb was cooked perfectly; tender, moist and nicely seasoned. It was served with mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and garlic bread. The sauce that came with the lamb was also very good. This exceptional meal was reasonably priced at just under $20. Dinner for 2 with coffee and tea came to just over $50 with tax. Well done Davis Diner.“

“Reading people’s reviews is hilarious. I especially enjoy the “they are not Jamaican” statement. The owners are Jamaican/Chinese which is extremely common for the Neanderthals that did not know this.
Best dish on the menu In my opinion is the chicken curry roti. Busting with flavour, so much chicken. And not stuffed with an abundance of mushy chick peas. Get it spicy and it’s a home run. This is easily my favorite take out dish anywhere“

“We were really up for some fish and chips and we were not disappointed with this place! Delicious food, very generous portions and the staff and server were great!

Ordered the deep fried pickles (prickles) and two orders of haddock and chips. The fish was tasty and perfect amount of batter, and the fries are exactly what you would expect from a traditional fish and chips spot.“

“We made a reservation on a weekday evening. Very busy restaurant in a small plaza. A lot of take out and there’s a line by the cashier. Phone is ringing all the time.

“My first time at Amano was positive. I had The Diavola pizza and it was pretty doughy for my liking, but the flavour on point. The interplay between the spicy soppresseta/pickled chilis, smoked provolone, sharp arugula and honey was very delicious. I usually end up asking for chili oil or flakes but I didn’t need to today. I wish it wasn’t as doughy. Overall, I really liked my experience and will definitely come back.
