Visited my aunt in Toronto and she took us to Harina Bakery , bought some freshly baked hopia baboy and ube. It’s the best hopias I ever had . Before heading back to NJ . We went to buy more to bring home and the lady said we don’t need to refrigerate or freeze it as long as it is kept in airtight container she was absolutely right, I wish Canada is like 2 to 3 hours drive and will be going back at least once a month for supply ♥️
My college buddy Gerivic visited me here in USA and brought us Ube pandesal and Hopia Ube. We loved it so much so when we visited Toronto when we got the chance that we had to look it up and did a special trip. They offered us a newly baked Ube hopia from the back. Highly recommended. I grew up here in Canada while both of my parents are Filipino, so I only understand a little bit of Tagalog. I’ve always wanted to try Filipino bakeries here so badly, especially to let my mom try too since she hasn’t been back to the Philippines in so long because she’s been sick.
