“I love this supermarket. Not only do they have all the products every Persian household needs, and even more. They also serve dishes, which are very well known and loved by Persians and people who are fans of Persian food.You can get the best and tastiest food in Toronto from this restaurant. Yesterday on Easter, we had a hundred guests and they gave us excellent chicken pilaf with barberry for a hundred and fifty people. The food was always full of saffron and barberry of high quality. “I come here for uber and doordash. It is a very interesting place. It's full and there are people waiting in line. Demand is high. The staff is very attentive, and if there is a long wait, they buy drinks. I don't know anything about food because I've never eaten it.“

“I got take out last night, rushing to eat before work (salad and chicken shawarma sandwich). It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“I was so happy to return after 5 yrs. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming for the perfect lunch with friends/family. The artifacts used for decor adds to the historical touch along with the modern design of the restaurant.Food was on point. Samosas served with a chickpea curry along with red onion and other flavourful toppings.Squash ginger soup...could of had a bit more kick to it with ginger infused into the soup.Mixed platter sizzling hot served with garlic Naan paired perfectly with rice puao.Servers were very attractive to ensure you dinning experience was enjoyable. They were also a good source of recommendations and welcomed feedback.I will definitely return this summer and take a seat on the patio once it's open.Recommendation to dine here will be passed along.Thank you again for a beautiful afternoon dining experience.“

“Vegan friendly shawarma place. I ordered the falafel plate with some eggplant. The falafel was interesting and unlike the typical fried falafel at most shawarma places. This falafel had a slight kick to it (spicy). There are two rice options (plain turmeric and rice and lentils). The food was slightly on the salty (could just be me) side but I think I can definitely see myself ordering from here again.“

“My 18 year old son and I ate here before a hockey tournament game. So glad we did. Actually amazing and fresh food. Best chicken shawarma we have ever put in our mouths. “Went to this place for the second time. I was disappointed the first time, trying the traditional Persian stews. I took some colleagues there and was hoping to impress them with Persian food.I just went there and decided to stick with the basic stuff - kebab. The kebabs were decent. We all got the vaziri, both beef and the chicken breast were great. I’d go back for the kebab again.I also got their khash ke bademjoon (eggplant dip). It wasn’t bad but I’ve had better ones.“

Maybe it all depends on the specific people in the hall and in the kitchen, but we had a delicious meal and received quality service at a high level. The waitress was polite and friendly. As soon as we arrived, we were the only ones in the hall (Friday, 6 p.m.), but later other people started coming to the neighboring tables. I think that we will come back again, if possible?“

“I've been to many Persian restaurants in Toronto, but none of them were like here. The taste of meals here is so close to legit Persian food. The taste is somehow nostalgic for me. “Glad that we have an ali baba's in the area, the restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained and food is flavourful and fresh. My favourites are the chicken shawarma wrap and the falafel wrap, the have daily deals that are a great price!The staff are friendly and courteous, but when they get very busy and there is a line, the service and attention to hygiene get looked over. Multiple times that I have been there and it has been busy I noticed that they didn't take their gloves off when touching the checkout machine and money and resumed to serve others with the same gloves on.Also, when busy, they rush to get everyone's orders put together and ingredients that I said I didn't want were put into my wrap. I'd rather wait a little longer and get the right ingredients.I will definitely give them another chance and hopefully by then this issue is corrected!“

Back in Halifax we have lots of great spots so I was eager to see how this place stacked up. I tried the shawarma mix box and thought it was great. The guy working there convinced me to put a little hot sauce on. I was reluctant but in the end it was a wise choice!“

“I bought a spicy chicken wrap along with spicy potatoes both of the things we’re looking mouthwatering and after having it I realize that those were too good. I just loved the spicy potatoes it is a must have thing all should try. The workers were very friendly in nature provided me with a brief about choice in toppings and i liked there way of talking.“
