“It's a quaint little restaurant. We had sisig and laing. The sisig was delicious. It follows a traditional recipe that does not have mayo in it. It's good and crispy and just a hint spicy. The laing is not their best IMHO. It needed more coconut milk to it and a bit more texture. The taro leaves have been reduced to a pulp and not so pleasant to eat.My daughter downed the leche flan in a blink. It was that good.We thought the halo halo was bland but we just didn't mix it properly and when we did, it was a trip back home. It was good.We are planning our next visit already.“

“The service at this place along with the flavor and the kindness is unparalleled! I felt like I was part of a family from the moment I arrived. I was in town from the US and by myself. Filipino food is not readily available where I live so I was excited to have some. I sat at the bar and talked with the owner, the head chef, and a few awesome employees. The portions are HUGE. So tasty. They make for great leftovers and can serve 2-3 people.I was here on a Wednesday night. While parking is free, there wasn’t very many spaces available at 8pm. The tattoo shop hoards a lot of the spaces (not the restaurant’s fault; just sharing so you are aware).I will be coming back and bringing my friends next time we are in Toronto. I asked about Vegan options because my friend is Vegan. The owner said they can make something custom and delicious with vegetables and/or tofu aligned with vegan standards.Vegetarian options: They had tofu and/or vegetable dish options.Parking: The tattoo shop in the shopping center takes up a lot of space.“

“Choosing Intramuros as our venue was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we stepped into the chill and cool ambiance of the restobar, we knew it was the perfect setting for our special day.The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The food was great, and our guests loved it. The intimate atmosphere created unforgettable memories for us and our loved ones. If you're looking for a wedding venue or any occasions to celebrate, look no further than Intramuros.“

“I prefer to eat here over the likes of seafood city. The food isn't oily or salty, and it's properly rotated, meaning they rarely serve out leftovers from prior days. The service is genuine, and the place is rarely packed with more than +5 customers at one time (from what I experienced). There's seating inside for you to eat a combo (ulam, kanin, sopas, with a beverage). You feel like a local after some visits.Parking: At most, 5 spots on a lesser busy day.“

“Finally, a fantastic, authentic Filipino dine-in/take out place within the Halton & Hamilton area! We decided to try Mikaela’s in person as my partner orders their empanadas every week from a coworker who regularly orders from here too. Dang, this restaurant did not disappoint! We ordered the Bilao Family Meal—a meal meant to serve 4 to 6 people when in fact, the generous size portion at Mikaela’s would realistically feed 6 people, minimum. Because we wanted to try so much more, we also got the lechon kawali (masarap!) and sisig (my all-time favourite Filipino dish) which they served hot on a sizzling plate with a freshly cracked egg—the only way sisig should be served! The restaurant is so beautifully decorated and gives such a “homey” vibe. And the service? No words; they truly make you feel like family We got buko pandan to go and let me tell you, I savoured every bite. We went with 2 of our good friends who are newer to Filipino food, and they could not stop raving about it. We can’t wait to come back and try their other dishes! Advance apologies to my waistline! ?“

“Fresh Filipino Food!! With desserts..:) You can order Large Tray for parties. Quick bite and accessible esp for people who always on a go. I been coming here for more than 10yrs & their specialty like pancit & kawali are top notch!! I hardly gave any review but this little store seems to withstand all seasons esp after covid. Kudos!! Good food overall.“

“Good Filipino food (for store-bought). We love their Lumpia Shanghai (fried spring rolls w pork), Pansit noodles, dinuguan (pork in blood stew like a blood pudding), caldereta (beef stew), Halo-Halo (shaved ice dessert soooo goood!), Braso de Mercedes whipped meringue cake, empanadas, etc. You line up, point at the stuff you want in your combo or takeout. You can order catering which I love, eat in or takeout. Simple, clean atmosphere.“

“Got combo #1 with Dinakdagan + rice + bottle of water. The flavor of the dinakdagan is creamy, spicy, and a little tangy - perfect to balance out the richness of the sauce. Great choice for my first visit! The owner is very friendly, and offered a few samples of his dishes. He took care to avoid foods that contained peanuts since I'm allergic. This was so helpful for someone who isn't very familiar with Filipino food, like me. I appreciated his welcoming attitude and will be back again!“

“Ordered menudo combo and bangus combo and halo halo. We love the bangus coz its really crispy, the menudo is kinda odd for me coz its taste sweet than tasting the tomato sauce side. Great proportion tho, we cant even finish it as its really alot of servings. Halo halo is great!“
