“Such a fun place. Anglr is not a typical seafood restaurant but more of a modern twist on some classic fare. From a Mexican, Asian, and Classic British style food everything here has a twist to make it fun and different. We had some classic crab cakes, shrimp dumplings, fried Oreos. So much food. What a blast. The owners are amazing. They know what they are doing. House made hot sauce which was great. Looking for a great meal with friends or family and something for everyone this is a place to come to.“

“Hands down best fish and chips in town. Loved both the Cod and the haddock. Onion rings were superb. Please note they don’t take reservations and weekends get super busy, but it’s absolutely worth the wait.I’ll be back again whenever I crave some fish and chips. Service was 10000% and very friendly staff.Mainly a takeout joint, but the quality of the food here is top notch and even better than some of the sit down restaurants. Not even exaggerating.Their burger patties are Halal and made fresh, and made to order, super juicy, not dry, and full of flavour. I highly recommend the crispy chicken because it's so juicy and tender but not overly oily either.Their beef patties are simplistic but you really don't need anything else to highlight the burger. I would call them classics but made well.Also, their poutine are soooo filling but so worth the price for their massive portions! Definitely a guilty indulgence for those nights of partying or even for friend gatherings.Wish they were closer to Markham, but if I'm ever in the area and craving burgers and fries, definitely would come back here.“

“Although we have been patrons for years, today was the first time we decided to sit down and eat lunch. It is a better experience than eating in the car! But foremost is the quality of the food. Of course we cannot expect fresh, unfrozen fish. But I had the cod and my wife had the halibut and the fish remained tender and moist. The batter is not excessive and it appears that the oil is changed regularly because there is no telltale residue or aftertaste of old oil with burnt batter in the fish and chips.“

She is such a wonderful human being. She is not judgemental and makes the environment like you are coming to see mom. My friends and I will be back. “Best fish and chips I've had. Closest by far to proper irish fish and chips and even have curry sauce! The chips in Toronto tend to be a little different than back home but these were on point both texture and flavour wise. Will be back. Get some battered sausages and mushy peas and we will be back every week hahaha.“
