“Came here for my partners birthday. The bread was definitely the best part of dinner, very soft and nicely buttered. My favourite dish was the squash cappellacci, absolutely delicious and a little sweet and savoury. The bucatini alla gricia was decent but quite similar to other pasta dishes in Italian restaurants. I did find the menu to be quite limited, as someone who doesn’t eat pork there was not a ton of options. I would however still come back when the menu changes as the food was definitely delicious.“
“Nice Casual atmosphere. Cocktails were great and fun, although a bit on the pricey side. We ordered the white fish appetizer which my girlfriend found delicious and I just thought it was missing a little something more. We ordered the trout main and the pot pie special. The pot pie was delicious, however we were disappointed with the trout, especially at that price point. The trout itself was good, and the pasta with chorizo was good, but it just didn’t work together. The pasta was too spicy and it took away from the fish. Extremely disappointed with that considering it’s also the most expensive thing on the menu. With all that said the service was fantastic. Couldn’t have had a better waitress.“
“I've never ordered something from Thr33's that I didn't love. I especially appreciate the delicious vegan options (the mushroom and tofu dishes are seriously addicting). The drinks are tasty and creative as well! Really great spot in Ottawa :)“
“The best kept secret in Kanata! It’s a hidden gem. Looking for a special intimate time with some close friends or partner? This is my go to! The food never disappoints. The place is quiet and has a pleasant, soothing ambience. The food choices on the menu are ideal and perfect for sharing. The hostess is wonderful and she brings out the food in the desirable order and not all the plates at once. She is very attentive and top marks for making our dining experience a memorable one! Thank you and we will be back!“
“Did not disappoint! We've wanted to try Erling's for awhile, so we were excited to have the opportunity to eat there tonight. the food was excellent, but our favourite was the pork tenderloin with cheesy rapini späetzle. It was so good! The mushroom stroganoff was also delicious. Would definitely recommend!“
“My new favourite hangout! The live music scene is top notch! Great that they are supporting local music! Amazing Scotch menus as well as fab cocktails! Love the ambience! The lighting is perfect. Great service! The music in between sets is perfect. Come out and show some love ❤️“
“Trio is a hidden gem in Westboro. I’ve lived here for a couple years but just discovered it a year ago. It’s my go to spot to bring friends from out of town. The food is the best in the neighborhood. Definitely try whatever is on special - it never disappoints!P.s service is great, especially our server Jenna was very attentive and friendly.“
“While a tad sad that the halloumi wasn't on the menu and Adam wasn't behind the bar, it was a lovely evening at the Belmont as always. Hands down one of my favourite spots in the city to eat at. Can't recommend it enough to people.“
“Great food, great, friendly staff, great atmosphere with a great live show! Will be back for sure, and won't be driving so I can try the cocktails. For the Market area and given the upmarket feel of the place the bill was a lot less than I would have expected for the quality so really good value as I've paid about the same to go out to a generic meal at a chain restaurant.“
“My wife and I have lived getting a mixed drink together since we met, and we make a point of trying new places and a variety of drinks. We popped in to 10Fourteen at a busy point around 11:30 and got two seats at the bar.The place is not bright, pretty loud while we were there at times, and the staff were pretty busy - but these are typically signs of a good place for drinks. We had the Dark Necessities and a Midnight Hour and I'd be hard pressed to say one was better than the other - every time I thought I liked one more I would sample the other and I wasn't so sure; they were both delicious. In the near decade we've been having drinks, these are some of the best we've had.The staff were cognizant of the rush and worked hard to get through their orders and set us up with water and popcorn topped with some tasty salt, brown sugar some cinnamon if I'm recalling correctly. While we definitely go out less than we used to, we'll definitely be coming back the next time we're looking for a place for a drink to try more of their menu.“
“A real gem in a small street, far from the hubbub of the city ❤️ I went there twice and the service was impeccable. The menu is a proposition that takes you on a journey. Tapas, good wine and a few friends, the evening can only be a success. Absolutely worth trying!Dietary restrictions: Almost the entire menu is gluten free!!“
“Clocktower is a casual restaurant with unique craft beer, incredible poutine, and wonderful service! I was served by Aidan, who’s a skilled bartender and great conversationalist. What a cutie, I’ll definitely be coming back in hopes he is working for more excellent service ?“
“Was recently in Ottawa for a tournament and had heard about Caden's. the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and helpful when it came to ordering the food. Highly recommend going here and if ever I'm back there I'll go again.“
“Imagine that feeling of bliss while on vacation thinking that life can’t get better. Well dining at Moonroom was better than that. Each cocktail was better than the previous and I didn’t want the night to end. The food came out faster than anywhere else I’ve ever been. Kudos to the fantastic staff and would definitely recommend this place to others“
“The food was AMAZING and the waitstaff very friendly and knowledgeable. I got the steak, my mom got the fig and prosciutto pizza, and we split the scallops as an appetiser. The lighting is quite dim where we were, so my mom needed to use her phone's flashlight to read the menu.“
“I do really like Sidedoor - the food is fantastic and the menu is innovative and diverse. Just two things that made our most recent visit a little less than perfect which could be improved:-I made a reso only for 8:45pm. I got a call that afternoon saying the kitchen closed at 9. This made us feel like we either had to come earlier (which wasn’t possible) or be rushed through out dinner. I’d recommend ending resos earlier at a time that won’t make guests feel rushed.-Their tipping prompts are set-up in such a way that if you give 18%, you’re made to feel cheap, because that lists the service as “good” rather than “great -20%” and “excellent - 25%”. This leaves a bit of a bitter taste in a guest’s mouth who is trying to leave a fair tip - making them feel cheap. A bad way to end a great night.“
“Excellent food and service! I like being able to share the plates and try a little bit of everything. Nicholas was really amazing in his knowledge of the wines and really captured my taste. A very nice addition to the Byward Market. I really like the cozy booths as well.Definitely recommend.“
