I loved the pacing of the service, quick enough that we were never left wondering when our next plate was coming, but also never feeling rushed to finish what we had in front of us. We enjoyed several plates shared by all so we all got a taste of a wide variety of dishes and were equally impressed by them all. “Nice Casual atmosphere. Cocktails were great and fun, although a bit on the pricey side. We ordered the white fish appetizer which my girlfriend found delicious and I just thought it was missing a little something more. We ordered the trout main and the pot pie special. The pot pie was delicious, however we were disappointed with the trout, especially at that price point. The trout itself was good, and the pasta with chorizo was good, but it just didn’t work together. The pasta was too spicy and it took away from the fish. Extremely disappointed with that considering it’s also the most expensive thing on the menu. With all that said the service was fantastic. Couldn’t have had a better waitress.“

For the Market area and given the upmarket feel of the place the bill was a lot less than I would have expected for the quality so really good value as I've paid about the same to go out to a generic meal at a chain restaurant.“
“Best fish I've ever had! I'm from Switzerland where Spaetzli was much more common and it's one of my favorite side dishes - they nailed it too. Everything from appetizer to dessert was delicious and very carefully thought of. I would have liked a bigger uni on the oyster but it was still amazing. 10/10!“

“Amazing experience for my first time. Heard about it from a barman elsewhere and wasn’t disappointed. Service was amazing, super helpful staff as well as the care they seem to put in their craft. Food seems to follow a seasonal/what is being cooked lately approach, so you might not get the same thing twice. Will definitely go again and add this one to my rotation.“
“My wife and I have lived getting a mixed drink together since we met, and we make a point of trying new places and a variety of drinks. We popped in to 10Fourteen at a busy point around 11:30 and got two seats at the bar.The place is not bright, pretty loud while we were there at times, and the staff were pretty busy - but these are typically signs of a good place for drinks.We had the Dark Necessities and a Midnight Hour and I'd be hard pressed to say one was better than the other - every time I thought I liked one more I would sample the other and I wasn't so sure; they were both delicious.In the near decade we've been having drinks, these are some of the best we've had.The staff were cognizant of the rush and worked hard to get through their orders and set us up with water and popcorn topped with some tasty salt, brown sugar some cinnamon if I'm recalling correctly.While we definitely go out less than we used to, we'll definitely be coming back the next time we're looking for a place for a drink to try more of their menu.“

“The service was amazing! Our server even offered to take a photo for us. The food came out very fast. The brussels sprouts were great, definitely recommend them! The jack fruit burger reminds me of a pulled pork sandwich it had great flavour profile and the portions are perfect. The menu isn’t very big, but I was surprised to see a couple vegetarian options. The atmosphere is very nice. We were sat in the back room which allowed for the noise to be broken up a little bit and gave a sense of privacy. I really enjoyed dining with them, and I will be visiting again!“
“We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Meow! when we went to listen to some live music.The whole place is lovingly decorated, and so much fun to look around at.We ordered pizzas, and my goodness, they were something else! The sauces (which we were told are all handmade on the premises) really set the pizzas above any others.The service here also bears mentioning. On the evening we were in, the two owners were taking orders, tending bar, making the food, and also taking the time to make sure their (very full room of) patrons were all content.Going into Meow!, we knew no one and we're unfamiliar with the restaurant. By the time we left, we felt like old friends that had been there several times.The owners went above and beyond with their hospitality- always making sure we had drinks (especially water, as it was a warm night), ensuring we could see the performers from our post at the back of the room, etc. We were truly blown away by their service, and look forward to returning very soon.Parking: Limited parking nearby, so be prepared for a bit of a walk unless you take transit“
“Loved it with my partner on a reecent Friday evening - mains were decent portions of rich food, lots of variety on the plate. Partner enjoyed his smoky cocktail. Dessert - chili cake - was generous portion (super shareable) and not too rich. This is upstairs of course, so not accessible if stairs are an issue (that I'm aware of), but comfy sturdy seats with no arms (I did not check out the bar seating). It is a small space so not as loud w reverb and cutlery sounds as restaurants often get (music was a bit loud as we were seated nearest the speaker, but not too loud!). “Imagine that feeling of bliss while on vacation thinking that life can’t get better. Well dining at Moonroom was better than that. Each cocktail was better than the previous and I didn’t want the night to end. The food came out faster than anywhere else I’ve ever been. Fair warning: the venue is small, so get a reservation to avoid disappointment at the door.The care and passion that Ray, Mike and Adam put into making each drink and menu item can be felt. It really is an experience, and they are artists of their craft.We have visited this bar at least a dozen times since it opened and the service and quality have never wavered. Ray is usually our server and he is friendly, funny, and is always willing to tell you more about the creation process of their menus.The menu is varied with some unique options that are well worth the venture (Three Brothers is a favourite of ours!). With constantly changing drink and food options it feels new and exciting each time you go, and there's always something for even the pickiest of drinkers.
