“We had a great time on Friday night. The food was good, the servers were very attentive, and the ambience was great. The only disappointing thing were the desserts. They seemed overly sweet - but I do realize that's a personal preference for the most part. Great place to have dinner!“

“First time at nookie’s soul kitchen | bar and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with my elderly father-in-law, Charles. I have dietary restrictions, and the owner was more than willing to accommodate. The server, Cassandra was very pleasant and helpful. I ordered the veggie portobello spinach benedict that also came with fresh, thick orange slices and strawberries. Flavours were spot on. They were cremini mushrooms I believe, and not portabello, but absolutely delicious nonetheless. They even peeled the skins off my father-in-laws home potatoes since he can’t chew the skins. Fantastic pricing you can’t beat without compromising the quality and taste. Even our coffee was good with refills plentiful. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast. Thank you Cassandra and nookie’s in general for such a wonderful first time experience. Sometimes the smaller towns truly do have the best to offer.Vegetarian options: I inquired if they had vegan options because they are not indicated on the menu, but they DO. They have gluten free bread which is also vegan and they have falafel and hummus they can substitute for a protein, along with mushrooms and plenty of veggie options. They will even make your pancakes to order without milk or butter/margarine so vegans can enjoy. “The food is always fantastic, however what surpasses the food is our delivery driver Jon . He always delivers with a smile and positivity. It is always a delight to see him and he always brightens our day! He is very appreciative of the tip he receives, and always advises it is not about the money, but the people he gets to interact with. He renews my faith in humanity every time I have the pleasure of seeing him. Well done Swiss Chalet!“
“We celebrated my father-in-laws birthday today at CJ's. We were in their private room. Everything was perfect - the servers were attentive and accommodating. Food was tasty with lots of selection. If there was something you'd rather have that was not on the menu, they were willing to make adjustments and substitutions to specific food items. The meals were brought out together and - with a party of 13 that was great! Thanks for making our family celebration memorable!“
“Had an amazing experience at this location tonight! Christin was our server, and I could not have asked for a better person to help us! She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and kept our bread and drinks full at all times, even dropping off new drinks without asking when she noticed ours getting low! Would absolutely recommend this location from this experience alone. This was the best service and overall experience I have EVER had anywhere! If you get Christin you will definitely leave happy and wanting to return!“
“Ordered a vegetable omelet which was excellent. The server was very nice. I asked for tomato instead of potatoes but was informed there was an extra charge. Found breakfast expensive but I will return. It’s my treat while having my puppy groomed!!“
“First time going, only reason I went as I was told it was no longer a Wimpy’s restaurant.I was told that the burgers were the best and the fries were not frozen out of a bag, I had to see for myself.I ordered the Tex Mex burger (you will want to request extra napkins right off the hop). That was one of the Best burgers I have ever had. The fries were definitely homemade. Portions are big.After we ate we spoke to the cook who shared some history about the restaurant and the food. There is a lot of passion and thoughtfulness that goes into his food.I have already picked out what I will be having on next visit.“
