“First time going, only reason I went as I was told it was no longer a Wimpy’s restaurant.I was told that the burgers were the best and the fries were not frozen out of a bag, I had to see for myself.I ordered the Tex Mex burger (you will want to request extra napkins right off the hop). That was one of the Best burgers I have ever had. The fries were definitely homemade. Portions are big.After we ate we spoke to the cook who shared some history about the restaurant and the food. There is a lot of passion and thoughtfulness that goes into his food.I have already picked out what I will be having on next visit.“
“I have been here twice each time I have visited Port Hope and the 45-minute drive is 100% worth it.I've had the cod and the halibut I believe and both were fantastic. Whatever batter they use is crispy and light and not too oily.I also ordered the shrimp and scallops and absolutely 100% amazing, loved the cocktail sauce. It just cheers up your day.The lovely lady who has served me both times is extremely polite and very accommodating to my requests of additional tartar sauce and vinegar (she even gave me a plate to eat in my car because I was not able to dine in because of time constraints)For the price of the portion sizes are generous.“

“I found out about this place for obvious reasons (being my name), and I willingly drive the 70km (one way) just to get a burger at this place. It is the most adorable little restaurant that has the best service. Employees are nice and helpful, and again the food is just phenomenal and generously portioned. Although I LOVE their burgers, their fries and poutine are to die for, as they are crisp, fresh and so fluffy. The gravy is the bone apple teeth to your meal. Whenever my mom asks what I want to eat, the suggestion is always Olympus... and she's always willing to do the road trip.I am currently recovering from jaw surgery, and it is breaking my heart I can't have their burgers right now. I have it marked on my calendar for when I can go back to have a burger and poutine at Olympus ?“
